Shane, hidden behind his zombie mask, knew he had to act fast. Although he could probably overpower them, he knew that there was no need to overstay. In any case, he had no grudge against these people.
Activating his Ghost Stride, he moved with swiftness, and none of the arrows and chains hit his body!
"What?!"
"It's moving too fast!"
The survivors' attacks missed him by inches as he darted through the battlefield.
"Aim for the terrain! Block its path!" Chris shouted. He was also shocked at the Zombie's movement and could only think of a few method to kill or capture the Zombie.
However, aside from moving like a ghost, the Zombie suddenly made an unexpected dash!
Shane actually used Phantom Dash, a burst of speed that made him almost invisible to the naked eye.
He weaved through the combatants, evading their grasp, weapons, and arrows! Then, Shane was able to get cover from a nearby building and disappeared from there...
Nonetheless, the people followed him only to fail to even have a glimpse of his shadow...
He had disappeared completely like a true ghost!
The survivors were left bewildered, they couldn't understand how they had lost that Zombie!
"Whew... That was quite exciting..." Shane muttered.
His heart pounded as he made his escape, his mind racing with the thrill of the chase.
He navigated the ruined streets with ease, and his knowledge of the terrain, thanks to the Map Function, gave him an edge.
Indeed, Shane's Agility was simply too high at this point that he could not be chased even by the Wolf Riders.
Soon, he found himself at the entrance of an abandoned hospital... The entrance was already destroyed, so he was able to enter easily.
According to Cloud, there was also no Survivor Shelter inside since it couldn't sense any presence of life. Instead, the A.I. only noticed a few Zombies...
Since he had a Complete Loot talent, he was able to obtain 30 stimulants. For those who didn't have, they could probably get at least five or more of them!
[ Please move to locate the entrance to the tunnel a lot quicker. ] Cloud insisted.
"Right... Right... I'm moving." Shane said. He knew the limitations of the A.I. as well when searching for things, so he didn't argue.
As he moved deeper into the hospital, Shane remained cautious through the darkened halls, his senses on high alert.
Suddenly, a rustling noise caught his attention. He turned to see a group of Zombie Rats, about ten of them, emerging from the shadows.
"Zombie Rats... Can they even pierce through my skin?" Shane mused for a moment as he would really rarely bleed at this point unless he got struck by Giant Zombie. Anyway, he decided not to experiment since the stunk of the Zombie Rats might stick on him.
They were rotten and disgusting after all.
Indeed, these creatures were grotesque, their eyes glowing red but had tails as tough as iron...
Shane tightened his grip on his hatchet, ready for the fight.
The first rat lunged at him, its teeth bared.
'Slow...'
Shane swung his hatchet with ease, cleaving the creature in two. There was no Survivor Skill like Horizontal Slash involved in that. It was just his pure strength and the sharpness of his weapon.

He didn't have time to think too much as two more rats charged at him from either side. He spun around, his hatchet slicing through the air and cutting down both Zombies in quick succession.
The remaining rats had no thoughts of retreating at all, as they did not have fear or a strategic mind. They simply act on instinct in front of human flesh and attack in a frenzy.
Shane's movements could barely be caught by the Zombie Rats as he dodged or sliced. He dispatched each rat efficiently until bodies piled up around him.
One particularly large rat leaped at his face, but Shane was ready. He sidestepped and brought his hatchet down in a powerful arc, splitting the creature's skull.
