Chapter 283: New Member

Lysandra was surprised by Shane's sudden offer. She simply wanted to challenge Shane because among her set of Survivor Skills, it included Combat Sense, which allowed her to notice Shane's strong combat ability.

This Combat Sense didn't just help her during combat but also in assessing other people's abilities. In short, she knew whether she had a chance of winning against her opponent or not. This was the main reason why she had chosen Shane to teach her or at least show her how much more she could improve.

Just from the moment she saw Shane, she knew that he was the right person for the task.

Of course, she also had another Skill called Survival Instinct that she had obtained after being critically injured once and surviving it.

In total, she had obtained 5 Survivor Skills after being in so many life and death situations... However, Shane's combat ability was still several times higher than hers.

"You want to learn about my skills and Talent? As for the Clan, can you tell me the name of the Clan?" She asked.

This Shelter had over 200 people. On the other hand, A level 2 Clan could only accept 20 people. It means that there was a high chance that Lysandra wasn't part of the Clan as she was quite low in level. Furthermore, even if she was a part of a clan, it might just be a secondary Clan of the Ironclad Imperium.

Well, this wasn't an uncommon thing after all. Based on his past memories, it's normal for shelters to have 5 to 8 Clans, but only one of them was the main Clan, where all of their elites gathered.

"Yes... My Clan is called Eclipse Revenant. Unfortunately, my Clan isn't doing a lot of Clan Missions. There's also a few members as well. However, there are a lot of benefits from it.

"Eh? Eclipse Revenant? Mhmm... It's my first time hearing it. I guess you're not recruiting in the Regional Chat either. Is it some sort of elite-only Clan?" Lysandra said with a laugh. However, she actually liked the fact that she was invited to another Clan.

"Mhmm... Since you have an amazing combat skill and I'm not really tied in the Shelter since I'm just doing my part here, I don't really mind joining your Clan... I heard that I'll also obtain weekly Zombie Cores for that." Lysandra replied.

To be honest, she was also quite interested in being part of a Clan. However, because of the limited number of people who could join in a Clan, she either had to be strong to be invited or she had a group of friends who could become her connections.

"Ahhhh..."

Shane nodded after hearing this. After all, he was probably the only one with the Complete Loot Talent. Because of that, other survivors had no idea that Talent was actually lootable.

Shane then invited Lysandra to join the Clan.

"Oh... I got the invitation." Lysandra said as she looked at the message.

[ Shane has invited you to join the Eclipse Revenant ( Clan Level 2 ) ]

[ Do you wish to join the Clan? ]

"Yes!" Lysandra answered without hesitation.

Although she was thankful to this Shelter for accepting her, she was also paying them back by hunting outside the Shelter and protecting this place. She believed that she was doing her part and wasn't just benefiting from them.

Because of that, she wasn't too hesitant to leave this place if she needed to.

Of course, she was also worried that the comfort provided by this Shelter would be forever gone, but she believed that if she wanted to get stronger and survive this Apocalypse, then she should follow Shane.

"Great... Now, I'll be setting up a defense to help this place fight against the Giant Zombie. You can see the members of the Clan and ask them questions if you want..." Shane said as he headed towards the stone wall of the Shelter.

"I can do that later... But how are you going to set up a defense against a Giant Zombie? Do you have some kind of Machine Gun or something?" She asked.
