The remaining three Hunter Zombies and two Licker Zombies, decided to work together to kill the intruder!

The Hunter Zombies used their blades while the Licker Zombies used their whip-like tongues, lashing out at him...
With a swift mental command, Shane used his golden Hatchet to cut off the tongue of the Licker Zombie!
Then, Shane was alerted by Cloud about the trajectory of his Automated Turret!
'Alright... Follow me, Zombies!'
Anyway, the Turret then stopped shooting as it was already overheating. It needed at least 30 seconds to recharge. It could, of course, change its ammunition to incendiary bombs, but Shane would be caught up in the explosion as well, so it was not an option at this point.
Nonetheless, 2 Licker Zombies weren't a threat to him anymore.
With a series of fluid movements using his Survivor Skills, Shane decided to confront the two Licker Zombies head-on!
Since they could use their tongue like a whip, he had to get closer to them!

After finding an opportunity, he activated his Survivor Skill, Horizontal Slash, a devastating technique that unleashed a wave of energy, slicing through the air that used up about 340 Spirit Points!

The force of the attack struck accurately, cleaving through the Licker Zombie with a swift and decisive blow.

This movement showed an opening to his right and it was used by the remaining Licker Zombie in an attempt to kill him.
However, Shane expected this as he controlled his Hatchet with his Telekinesis!
Shane directed the weapon in a graceful arc, severing its head in the process.

'I did it...' Shane still feels very strong, thanks to his adrenaline injector, but he heaved a sigh of relief after confirming with his A.I. that there were no more threats around.
Shane then looted all six high-tier Zombies and used his Lootkeeper's Timepiece on of the Hunter Zombies before he turned his attention to the glowing chest nearby.
'Now... Let's see what you have here...' Shane thought as he felt really excited this time. He hadn't even seen a Silver Treasure Chest yet, but here he was, about to open a Golden Treasure Chest!
He then approached the chest while also asking Cloud if there were any traps nearby...
