Shane nodded, his heart pounding with excitement. "Yes," he replied.
As soon as he replied, the black egg began to glow, its surface then started pulsing with energy.
Cracks appeared along the shell, and a soft light emanated from within.
Shane and Axis watched in silence as the egg slowly broke apart, revealing the creature inside.
To Shane's surprise, the creature that emerged was not what he had expected.
"Great..." Shane nodded as he confirmed that it could be fed with Zombie Cores. It means that making it stronger would be a lot easier.
For now, however, Shane had to give it a name first to register it as his pet.
"From now on... Your name will be Silver!" Shane said while carrying the slime in his arms. The slime seemed to have liked its new name and squirmed for a bit.
