At an apartment complex in a cheap neighborhood in New York, Elaine stood at the door on the third floor; she knocked. "Coming!" A woman's voice sounded from inside; soon after, the door opened, and a beautiful forty-year-old lady stood by the door. Seeing Elaine, the woman smiled as she hugged Elaine.
"Here comes my baby; I was already starting to miss you. Hungry? Cause I made your favorite lasagna."
"I miss you too, mom."
Elaine happily hugged her mother as she replied. Both ladies walked into the house with the door closing behind them.
"Your father left to get some candles; you know it's that special time of the year."
"Yes, your anniversary. Are you guys staying in this year?"
"...Yeah~ It was my idea; we won't be able to pay this month's rent if we go out... You are quite early today; Carlson gave you a holiday or something?"
The woman spoke with an African-American accent. She had long curly hair and was 5'5", the same height as her daughter. Both mother and daughter shared similar physical traits as they looked like twins. The woman had a cooking apron and a net bonnet covering her long hair.
Elaine sat at the dining table and looked at her mother carrying the lasagna from the stove. She took a meatball from the table and ate it; she exclaimed and spoke.
"Hmm, you still haven't lost your skills, mom."
"Well... you better learn them, or else you will be ordering food in the future."
"I will be sure to take notes. Mom, you mentioned something about not abling to pay this month's bill?"
The woman paused as she turned and faced Elaine; she removed the baking gloves as she spoke.
"Don't worry about that, darling; your father always has a plan. We should trust him as I have for the past twenty-five years. We were lucky to have a grade-A daughter like you, or else how would we have paid for your tuition if not for your scholarship."
Ding! Ding!
The doorbell rang as it interrupted Elaine's mother. Elaine rose from her seat as she went and opened the door. Standing by the door was a 5'11" tall forty-six-year-old man with a slightly masculine build. The man stood with two flowers and a bag of candles in his hands; he saw Elaine and exclaimed.
"Hello, my little pumpkin; how are you?"
"I'm fine, dad."
The man spoke with an African accent as he handed the flowers to Elaine. He walked in and headed for the kitchen, kissing his wife on the mouth and forehead. Then the family trio sat as they ate dinner.
After dozens of minutes of eating, the three began talking as they laughed and joked. Elaine had a satisfied expression as she saw how happy her parents were. Even after being together for over two decades, they were still heavily in love with each other. But then, Elaine's father switched his attention to Elaine as she spoke.
"So, pumpkin, how is the course going? You have a year left till you graduate, right?"
"...Yes, and I have to tell you something."
Hearing this, the mother and father duo exchanged gazes as they frowned with delight. The mother then smiled as she spoke.
"Is it some big surprise you prepared for our anniversary?"
"Well, yes and no; I have been given an international scholarship and can transfer to whatever school of my choosing."
"This! I... don't know what to say! Congratulations!"
The mother exclaimed with disbelief as she held her hands together in amazement while looking at her beautiful daughter. Little tears settled in her eyes as she couldn't help but cry tears of joy. The father smiled and proudly spoke.
"Now, that's my daughter. The genius blood of our ancestors truly runs in your veins. Well done! So have you decided yet where you want to go?"
"No, I wanted to tell my parents the news first, but I will leave in the morning."
Elaine spoke as she saw the proud faces of her parents. Her father asked.
"Why the hurry? Didn't you just have the scholarship?"
"Well, we must prepare in a camp and begin choosing schools from then."
Elaine persuasively spoke as her parents didn't question her this time. They completely believed their daughter's words. Of course, Elaine had something to do with that.
"Ok, you better rest early than; you don't want to be too tired in the morning."
The mother spoke caringly as she began cleaning the table. Elaine then kissed her parent goodnight as she headed for her room. They lived in a two-room apartment.
___
In her room, Elaine sat on her study chair with crossed legs as she uttered.
"System, tell me about the wife system, and who is this husband of mine?"
"As the Goddess wishes. The Wife Systems are True Omnipotent consciousnesses created by the God Master for his chosen wives within existence and beyond. We, the Wife systems, exist because of you. And as for the last question, no Wife System is ever qualified to report on God Master; our only existing nature is to serve the Omni Queens."
"Another thing, why I can't even muster the will to decline?"
"I lack the qualification to report on that, Goddess Elaine."
"Nevermind, tell me where I can find him."
"The God Master currently resides in the Immortal Realm planet of the cultivation universe 2341, and so are the other Omni Queens."
Elaine heard the system and instantly knew where Patrick and her sister-wives were. She thought as a mirror formed before her; looking at her Godly reflection, Elaine murmured.
"A Power that transcends all of existence and beyond. I have become True Omnivastance, an incomprehensible concept one can only think of as fictional. But most of all, I became a wife, and I haven't even seen this powerful husband of mine... system, I will call you M from now on."
"M is eternally grateful for the Omni Queen's consideration."
"Fine then, I'm heading to see him. Make sure my parents never worry about anything and make it seem like they have already dropped me at the airport."
"As the Omni Queen wishes, all requests have been executed. This world will bend in favor of their existences."
"Good, time to see you, dear husband."
Elaine spoke as she wasn't at the scene anymore.
