Chapter 160 Buying Crafting Materials (Part 2)

At this, Raydon exhaled a sigh of relief. Due to his title, he had no other option but to use body enchantments. No matter how skilled he was as a gamer, he could not handle every situation simply by increasing his stamina.

Naturally, as he discovered more powerful body enchantments, he would have to change the older ones. He was fortunate in that the body enchantment the golden skeleton gave him was a heart, saving him the extra expense, and he didn't care whether or not the ashen heart was destroyed. In any case, it was a white-grade body enchantment.

'I don't need to worry about losing the ashen attribute since it was obtained from Eye of the Ice Gnome. ' Raydon thought.

Because of the occurrences in the golden skeleton's inheritance, he was aware that the ashen attribute he possessed was a hybrid and not an ordinary attribute. Therefore, he might have been a little disappointed if he had lost this attribute.

''Thank you for your response. '' Raydon thanked him for the relief and happiness he was currently experiencing.

"It's not significant. You didn't even ask a difficult question. Do you have any other questions? '' When he observed Raydon looking around, the man questioned.

Raydon said, "Actually I want to buy a few things for magic item crafting. ''

Now that he had the instructions for a set of magic equipment he had discovered in the Zombie General's inheritance, he was eager to start crafting.

''You are unquestionably in the right place then. You can find any crafting material here unless it's blue-grade, I promise. '' The man spoke with assurance.

After hearing this, Raydon was pleased and started to consider what he need.

Raydon asked, "First of all, how much is a green-grade magic equipment blueprint? "

In this world, a blueprint is necessary before one can craft any item. Even though Raydon had won blueprints in prior matches, all of them were white-grade, not the green-grade set he was trying to create. Though he knew he should have started with white-grade item crafting, he was so confident in his skills that he skipped that step and went straight to green.

''Green-grade blueprint? The price is a hefty 250 gold coins. '' This request from Raydon caught the man off guard. Raydon didn't appear to have much experience with crafting, what with his young appearance and the fact that he was an F-Rank item holder.

'I believe he will ask an item expert to craft items for him. ' The man considered.

"Okay, I'd like to buy 30 pieces," Raydon said.

Due to the difficulty of crafting an item, particularly a green-grade item, the likelihood of success was similarly low. If an item crafting attempt failed, the blueprint would be obliterated, and some or all of the materials used would become unusable.

Even though Raydon was confident in his own abilities, he still wanted to get his change and give himself a few more opportunities to refine his skills.

''What kind of equipment are you looking for? '' The man re-asked.

There was a different blueprint for each type of equipment. The blueprint for a pair of pants, for example, could not be used to craft a ring.

''Breastplate, sabatons, pauldrons, gauntlets, and greaves. '' Raydon counted all the set pieces.

Without a helmet, it will likely resemble the black armor worn by the zombie soldiers he had encountered in the inheritance.

''All right. ''

The man took 30 rolled-up scrolls from one of the boxes beside him and handed them to Raydon, saying. ''Each of them cost 250 gold coins, making the total cost of 7.500 gold coins. ''

After throwing the scrolls into his dimensional storage, Raydon continued. ''Additionally, I need 30 sets of black iron metal. ''

''Oh, I suppose you want to craft a death-type of body armor. '' The moment the man heard the phrase "black iron," he said, went to another box, took out 30 ingots of black iron, and gave them to Raydon.

''Also, 30 sets of shadow blood. '' Raydon threw the black iron ingots into his dimensional storage and went on.

''Young man, why don't you say everything in one go? ''

The man scowled at Raydon before getting what he wanted anyhow. Raydon was acting similarly when he sold his items, and he was acting similarly now that he was purchasing them.

''Here. Anything else? 'The man disappeared into the next room for a while, then returned with a box containing black liquid in transparent tubes, which he handed to Raydon.

''Thanks. Add 40 E-rank death-type life cores, 30 Ironshell Turtle shells, 30 Shadowfang Wolf claws, 30 Nightshade Panther leather, 30 Venomous Serpent venom, and.... '' Raydon added, counting a few more materials that contained various elements.

''I really hope these are the last. '' The man murmured and left for the adjacent room, emerging moments later carrying a number of boxes stacked on top of one another.

''Is that all? '' After putting the boxes on the counter, the man inquired with a weary tone.

"Yes, thank you; how much for everything?" Raydon questioned.

He had assumed that his gold coins would be sufficient before placing his orders, but now that he had received them all, he realized that the price he would pay would not be low at all.

''To be exact, 95,050 gold coins'' The man had already done the math before Raydon asked, so he gave the answer immediately.

"Even though they are all green-grade materials, it is not thought to be too much," Raydon sighed with relief.

The materials he had on hand would have allowed him to create two sets in total, and he would only have needed to spend 48,000 gold coins on one set, assuming all of his attempts had been successful.

'Of course, I did not purchase the most expensive component, the elemental material. The inheritance materials I will likely use for crafting will be more expensive than all of this. ' Raydon reflected.

Since he was going to craft a death-type item, he also needed to use a support material with a high death element. However, he didn't need to purchase another one because he already had the materials he discovered through inheritance. He also possessed the stone containing the element of death that he discovered at Herman's place.
