Chapter 302 Insufficient Gold Coins (Part 2)

"We need to hurry and catch her before she spends all the gold coins," Dan said, a sense of urgency in his voice.

Observing Dan's distressed expression and flurry of activity, Sami couldn't help but ask curiously, "Why are you making such a fuss? You already have a whole set of items. Are there other things you want to buy?"

In light of the fact that Dan was the only member of the group who possessed an entire set of items as a result of the items that they had acquired from the shadow messenger, Sami found Dan's behavior to be a little bit self-centered. However, due to the fact that Sami is familiar with Dan's personality, he realized there must be a more substantial reason behind his urgency, and he became intrigued.

"Because if we go there like this when our goal is to support our Master, all we're going to do is embarrass him," Karan pointed out, gesturing towards the group still lined up, all dressed in mismatched black outfits.

It was clear that in their haste, they had put on whatever black clothing they could find and that a good deal of it was either worn out, torn, or patched up.

"Damn it!" Sami exclaimed, realizing the error, and immediately started running. "What are you waiting for? We need to stop that foolish woman before she spends all our gold."

"I can't tell if this guy is a true genius or just an idiot," When Karan heard the words Sami had left behind while he was running, he facepalmed and said.

"I'll come with you. I don't think your savings will be enough for all of them," Belicia offered.

She could see that Dan and the others were pitifully poor at the moment, and because she herself had been raised in a ruling family, she was aware that the number of gold coins that they would have to pay for the trash items, even if it was just for looks, would be exorbitant for them.

"Thank you," Dan expressed his gratitude sincerely.

The significance of this moment, which marked the first time that they could actually be of assistance to Raydon, was beginning to dawn on him. In the midst of this overpowering sensation, the fact that Belicia had offered her assistance was like finding an oasis in the midst of a desert.

"No need to thank me. After all, we are now serving the same master," Belicia replied with a smile.

Even though she was not entirely sure of the extent to which Dan's plan would actually help Raydon, Belicia had a strong desire to make a contribution that would be meaningful to the plan. It was her way of demonstrating her loyalty and dedication to the person she had chosen to serve.

"Damn, why hasn't anyone arrived yet?" Raydon muttered, pacing back and forth in his room within the mansion.

Several hours had passed since he had returned to his room, and although he had managed to get some sleep during that time, the excitement of the promised items from Samuen had prevented him from sleeping for much longer. Now, it seemed like he was going to have to suffer through the longest wait of his life as he eagerly anticipated his arrival.

"They should have given me at least a few storage expansion orbs," Raydon complained, examining his disappointingly small dimensional storage.

The waiting period for his next match had already passed, and he could accept the match invitation at any time. However, since he only had a limited amount of space in his dimensional storage, he did not want to lose any valuable loot in his first E-Rank match. Therefore, he came to the conclusion that the best course of action would be to wait for the old man to give him some storage expansion orbs.

''Should I start the match? ''

But at this point, Raydon's tolerance was reaching its breaking point. He couldn't contain his curiosity any longer and yearned to experience the thrill of an E-Rank match.

''But if I join a match now, I'll have to wait another two days for the next one. '' Raydon grumbled, feeling torn about what to do as he lay down on his bed.

Because this was his first match at the E-Rank, he was determined to make the most of the opportunity. Furthermore, now that his system was fixed, he could accumulate experience points and level up naturally. Because of this, acquiring the maximum number of experience points possible from this match was another one of his goals in addition to collecting loot.

''What should I do... What should I do? Hm? '' Lost in thought, Raydon suddenly heard footsteps outside his door. He jumped up from the bed in a hurry and, filled with a sense of both excitement and anticipation, dashed over to open the door.

With one knock on the door, he swung it open and found himself face-to-face with the person he had been waiting for.

The frown on his face instantly transformed into a beaming smile as he exclaimed, ''Finally! ''

''I didn't think you'd be this ecstatic to see me. '' Zephyr chuckled, amused by the sheer joy on Raydon's face.

''Uh... Yeah... '' Raydon replied awkwardly, caught off guard by Zephyr's comment.

''Well, I know what you've been eagerly waiting for, so I won't keep you waiting any longer. Family head is waiting for you at the training grounds. '' Sensing Raydon's impatience, Zephyr prepared to use his movement-type skill to teleport both of them to the training room. However, before he could initiate the teleportation, he was taken aback as he witnessed Raydon suddenly vanish into a cloud of black smoke.

''What the hell!? '' Zephyr exclaimed, completely surprised by the turn of events.

''Did he just use an innate skill? He's only an E-Rank!!! Damn!!! ''

Despite all that Zephyr had heard and witnessed throughout the day, he never expected to be astonished again, but witnessing Raydon unleash an innate skill took him completely by surprise.
