From MC'S Perspective:
Arken City- Airfield,
The Bulky Wizard ordered his followers to drag back the corpse of the lone wolf. He did not expect things to go smoothly.
The other six wizards went to the collapsed structure to find the corpse. However, what awaited them was nothing but a surprise. The Wizards were unable to locate the corpse.
"How is this possible?"
"There is no trace of the body.
"Did he flee?"
"It must be some kind of Artifact or Magic Scroll."
The wizards communicated with each other. However, each of their expressions turned ugly. If the escaped wizard survives, he may return to seek vengeance in the future.
The bulky Wizard scowled. He overheard their conversations. A level 8 Wizard can easily hear them from this distance. But he could not believe someone had slipped under his radar.
"It will be a headache," he murmured.
Swoosh!
The next second, he appears directly above the collapsed structure.
Seeing the wizards retreat backward. The bulky wizard then uses his mental powers to scan the area. He could not find a corpse or bloodstains on the floor.
As if the person had mysteriously disappeared. He discovered that the mana print had stopped at one point. This demonstrates that the lone wolf escaped by using some treasure.
"What a terrible day?"
To the others, The Bulky Wizard said, "We should leave before the auction starts."
After that, everyone departed from the location.
Gregor Mansion,
I opened my eyes a few hours later. I discovered that my headache had subsided. My body is the only one that is injured.
Thinking back on the scenes. My face broke into a wry smile. That action was desperate. The attacker could see right through my back.
The mana core turned out to be fine, thank goodness. I will later exact my revenge on the Auction House. But I had to get out of here right now.
I called out the system in mind after managing to sit cross-legged.
