"Hello, guys! Welcome to the stream!"
— Bar?
— Are you playing Midnight Heist again, Breeze?
— Huh, this is strange. You said that it's a group streaming, but where is the other?
— Guys, look at this! MadLad, Amelia Reaper, and almost all new gens from Bamboo Talent is in the same place!
— Breeze has made some friends?! Mama is proud of you, my baby.
Once he started the stream, more than 10K viewers gathered at once. Some of them had realized the other streamers that joined in this group streaming, as they could be found in a small pop up beside the chat window.
Then, a few seconds later... It kept increasing.
[Viewers: 15.2K] -> [Viewers: 18.3K] -> [Viewers: 21.3K]
The chat looked confused, but all of them now realized that it was truly a group streaming.
— Breeze has made some friends!
— We're proud of you, boy
— Papa will reward you
[LovelyOtter has donated 1,000 diamonds!]
[I am glad you found more friends, Breeze!]
[friendlessGoat has donated 200 diamonds!]
[I am happy for you... I hope I get friends too.]
Max's lips twitched when he read the chat. Why were they acting as if he couldn't find any friends?! Wasn't that too harsh?
"What do you take me for, guys? I have many friends, unlike some of you." He retorted to them with a sneer. "Well, thank you for the donations, Otter and friendlessGoat. I hope you can get friend."
They weren't triggered or mad that Max called them friendless because that was the fact for some of them. Rather, they even laughed and affirmed his words.
Chatting with them was fun, but Max needed to proceed.
"Putting those aside, today is a group streaming. MadLad actually invited me, as we know each other from the Knight's Journey program."
Max explained as he stood up from the bar counter and looked around.
The camera followed his movement. Wherever he went, the camera would stay in front of him.
"Let's introduce you to the other streamers here. After that, we plan to play some games together."
Saying that he approached the couple first, who talked about the drink and food they ordered on the corner of the bar. He introduced them to his viewers, and likewise, they also introduced him to their viewers.
Then, he moved to the group of Bamboo Talent in the game area. Max introduced Amelia and Princess Peachy, who were playing darts. Because beautiful girls appeared, and they had no boyfriend with them unlike the couple from earlier, the chat went wild immediately.
— WOMEN!
— So it's a former athlete vs Breeze, whose skill level is unknown
— He can dribble! Amazing!
Just right after Max said that, MadLad began to move. His hand still dribbled the ball, doing some stunts and attempting to break his ankle. Moving left and right, he finally rushed forward.
Max lowered his stance and spread his arms to defend. His eyes were focused on the ball and where it was going, waiting for a chance to snatch it from MadLad's hand.
However, the mad streamer suddenly pivoted using his leg. He slipped past Max's defense and went toward the ring. In preparation to shoot, he stopped and jumped.
"Oh, you can't!"
At that moment, Max jumped back with a full speed and slapped the ball away.
"Tsk!" MadLad clicked his tongue and looked at the ball going to the edge of the court. "Almost!"
Rebound!
— Damn!
— That was so smooth!
— While having less experience, Breeze can use his speed to make up for it
— REBOUND! Get the ball!
Landing on the ground, Max jumped and got the ball.
"Too bad, MadLad. While you can do stunts and fakes, my reaction speed is faster." Max said, dribbling the ball in his hand. "It's now my turn. Do your best to defend against me."
"So cocky!"
With veins protruding on his temple, MadLad rushed at Max. He stretched his hand, aiming for the ball. There was no term defense in this streamer's head. Offense was the best defense!
"Heh, naïve."
Max dodged the hand by imitating the pivoting movement he had seen earlier. He slipped the ball between MadLad's legs and passed through him. He kept dribbling the ball to the ring, but he didn't prepare to shoot.
Throwing a basketball was different from throwing a weapon. The ball curved in an arch when thrown to enter the ring. It didn't fly straight like what happened to weapons he threw in Knight's Journey.
Thus, he had no confidence to throw it yet, fearing it would just bounce off the rim and get rebounded. So, what did he do? How could he enter the ball into the ring without throwing?
The answer was simple.
Running toward the hoop at a full speed, Max tried his best to build momentum to jump as high as he could. When he got close, he sprung up, his body soaring up and his hand that held the ball high up extending toward the ring.
And then...
Pang!
The ball entered the ring. His hands were clutching on the rim, and his body hung for a few seconds before he dropped.
With a large grin on his face, he kissed his index and middle finger before raising it.
"I am the GOAT!" He declared.
