"Heh. I thought you would say that." Max scoffed as he raised his sniper rifle. There were 3 bullets left in the chamber, and there were 6 enemies incoming.
Ferin still had 4 bullets in the chamber as well as a secondary weapon, a shaved-off shotgun with 2 bullets.
To win, they either had to make them fight each other or finish them in one or two shots.
"This might be hard, but let's do this. No time to reload." He took a prone position once more and instructed Ferin. "I will take care of the ones on the East while you take care of those on the South. We don't need to be worried about the West for now, as they will clash first. And, cover me."
"Got it. So we both take care of two people for now. Easy to understand." Ferin answered as she propped her sniper rifle and aimed at two players approaching them from the South.
Without waiting any longer, she shot the ground where the players would step next. They were caught off guard and were sent flying back by the explosion. Quickly, they pushed their bodies up, but it was too late.
Another explosion followed suit, killing one player immediately. The other one got caught in the explosion, and his vital was almost depleted. Just one indirect explosion would kill him. And that was exactly what Ferin did to lower his team's morale.
"Bam!" She said and pulled the trigger, killing the player in question.
Now, the two of them tried to crawl back to their base while she reloaded her sniper. After reloading, she finished them cleanly so they couldn't be revived.
"I got them. What about you?" She turned around to look at Max, but was surprised when she didn't find him.
"Huh?" She exclaimed and looked around. It was then she found him in the West, engaging with a player closely.
His sniper rifle sent an explosion toward the player and bounced him back and forth. There was one player crawling near him, but he ignored that player and focused on the other one.
"Ah, he's having fun." Ferin said with a playful giggle, "What a bad habit. I can see that player's teammates fuming in rage." She added and looked at the base in the West through her scope.
Three people stormed out of the base in rage, brandishing their guns and shooting Max, who finished with the player. He was grinning and pointed his sniper at them.
"Ferin, shoot."
(Fufufu, I know. You first.)
"I did."
Bam!
One player in the distance exploded once Max pulled the trigger. The sniper's bullet was faster than any weapon and could travel way farther than them.
Following the first explosion was the second one. Ferin had shot the second guy and immediately incapacitated the third one.

— lol, to think he says that in an official account.
As usual, the chat was divided into two groups: those who trusted OrangeSquash's team and those who were fans of other teams.
However, the two players in question didn't realize that.
"I won." Atlas grinned as he grabbed his rifle. "Then, I will go first. Hold the fort with your best ability, leader."
"Noo! Damn it! I also want to show off my skill!" Flexy shouted loudly as he held his space helmet.
"Haha, maybe next time. I need to get a little serious, or people who watch me will think that I am such an easy target. It will be troublesome as I have a lot of haters in Horizon Online, you know?"
"Ugh, fine. I can probably buy you 2 minutes. Can you finish it and come back before that?"
"Easy peasy," Atlas answered while imitating his girlfriend. "I have removed the SR limiter in my VR Capsule this time. Winning this fight will be a child's play."
With that said, he ran at a speed that could be called exceeding human nature and disappeared from the top of the wall.
No matter how Flexy saw it, that man was absurd. He had heard about it before the game, but this was still too much.
"100% Synchronization Rate... What a fucking joke." He spat out those words before holding his rifle tightly. "He's even faster than Breeze if he's serious. Now I understand why StoneSword recommended him in the past. He's a monster who has both skill and luck."
Still, that monster was his teammate. A grin appeared on Flexy's face as he walked in a different direction from where Atlas was gone.
"Even with 92% SR, I can do better than those guys."
No one would underestimate him and call him baggage after this. He would show off the skill he practiced everyday. Many grenades were prepared around his feet, ready to be used.
'Normal people have a normal way to fight. And in terms of defense, I am second to none!'
Before long, the 2nd wave arrived. The horde appeared from a different direction from the one that Flexy guarded.
At the same time, three shadows that hid themselves earlier showed up. They were players from the bigSACK team.
Whether he liked it or not, Flexy had to protect the base from two different directions alone. This would be hard. However, he trusted himself and his abilities.
"Let's do this, you pests!"
