She was a worker in the town, she couldn't let her reputation be stained, if others found out that she has let her mother hang on the edge of the roof in chilly flood water all because she was scared then she would surely lose her job. What was more her son was studying in the academy, he was her pride and hope, she could not let his reputation be tarnished either, after considering everything she had no choice but to shift the blame on her father. Old man Yu was old and even if his reputation was sullied, it would not matter after all he was just a mer who cared about him. And this was the matter between her daddy and mother who cares what happened between the two of them, she didn't ask her mother to hang onto the edge of the roof nor did she ask her daddy to abandon her mother, it was all the doing of old man Yu, so he might as well deal with it himself!
