“All the good things in this world are against me, but you are the only exception.”

— Yan Xiaobai

Snap!

The sharp sound of a harsh whip resounded in Situ’s ear.

“You offended Her Highness the Princess. Why don’t you plead guilty?!”

Situ blinked.

Rich, luxurious and extravagant— this was not her preferred style of living.

[Beep! Congratulations on successfully binding with the host]

What the crap is going on?

Situ frowned, but the sound of whips continued to ring in her ears. The person who was being beaten had blood dripping down from his back. However, he clenched his teeth and refused to bow his head.

He was a tough cookie, but what does any of this have to do with her? Wasn’t she supposed to be on the battlefield, taking out her enemies in the Battle of Gods and Demons?

[It’s not crap, it’s Tongtong]

The System hurriedly explained as it didn’t want to be classified under the term ‘crap’.

[During the Battle of Gods and Demons, your Divine Consciousness was completely shattered, and the pieces scattered among 3000 worlds.]

A shattered Divine Consciousness!

Situ tried to gather her strength in her palms, but there was no trace of her once flourishing Divine Power as expected.

[‘Then what is this place’, you might ask?]

Ignoring the foreign voice in her head, she needed to grasp the current situation as soon as possible.

[This is your first mission point— as long as you can eliminate the blackening value of the villain of the story, you can re-obtain your scattered consciousness.]

Your current situation is also the new project of the System Development Bureau— Transmigration: A Plan To Save The Yandere Villain!

[And because you are a novice, the first world’s mission would be just a piece of cake.]

Situ nodded clearly.

Well, that sounds like a good deal.

[Of course, you have to fulfill the original owner’s wish as well.]

[Deal! ]

No wonder she was worthy of being the Goddess of War in the Realm of the Gods; the System was delighted with this host. It felt like it could achieve the best scores this year.

[Transfering the original owner’s memory…]

Situ had a splitting headache as a wave of memories was implanted into her head.

The original owner was the Eldest Princess of the Great Sheng Dynasty. She was pampered by her father and brother and grew up in a surly manner.

Injuring people with horses on the streets, robbing civilian men, beating up the Prince of Jingnan at night— if one had the guts to mention something, she would do it in a heartbeat!

Until she saved a particular little slave…

The little slave was no ordinary person— he was the one who would usher in the annihilation of the Great Sheng Dynasty by letting it fall into the enemy’s hands.

[So, what was the original owner’s wish?]

[Save the Great Sheng Dynasty and live with dignity]

Live with dignity?

[After the fall of the Dynasty, the villain banished the original owner out of the city, and she was left to roam the streets to fend for herself and survive]

Even if she was at fault, the debt should have been paid off with that.

With the changing of the dynasties, the common folk would suffer the most. It would not be easy for a pampered princess to survive outside the palace on her own (especially for a deposed princess living as a commoner).

In the end, the wild grass enveloped her corpse as her body was exposed to the merciless treatments of the wind and snow.

What a miserable way to die!

The sound of the whip annoyed Situ once more.

She looked up and saw that Shi Ying, the maid holding the whip, was the real culprit who pushed the original owner over the edge into the abyss of darkness. She did an impressive job manipulating the Princess’s emotions and coaxing her to kill, forcing the original owner to betray her family and everyone she loved.

The one who deserved to plunge into the depths of Hell was none other than Shi Ying!

“Stop.”

The whip was studded with barbs which caused pieces of the man’s flesh to be torn off when the whip struck his back. His thin shoulders jerked, and his eyelashes trembled.

Hearing Situ’s voice, Yan Xiaobai’s pitch-black eyes suddenly lit up. In those very same orbs, a galaxy’s worth of stars seemed to shimmer.

Shi Ying was stunned for a moment before she swung the whip again. Scrunching up her face, she said,

“He offended Your Highness; it is of no consequence to kill him.”

Shi Ying’s hand grasped the whip and was about to strike once again. Just before the whip came in contact with the man’s back, Situ curled her fingers around her throat.

“You dare to disobey the order of this Princess?”

For someone who was merely a maid, slitting the tongue as a consequence of disobedience towards the Princess would even be considered a light punishment!

Situ’s palm tightened, and she directly pressed the girl against the golden pillar.

Shi Ying’s cheeks flushed red at speed visible to the naked eye as her eyeballs bulged widely. Did Her Highness change her gender today? Hasn’t she always been listening to my words and obeying me all this while?

Shi Ying wanted to plead mercy for her own sake, but she could not make a sound with the state of her choked throat. Upon seeing the whites of her eyes, Situ disgustedly flung the maid to the ground— it would be such a shame to let her die that painlessly.

Situ took her brocade handkerchief and proceeded to wipe her hands carefully.

“If anyone else behaves as such in this Fengqi Palace in the future, don’t blame this Princess for being ruthless.”

Situ had always kept her priorities and her work organized. These people would probably hinder her, so she opted to find an opportunity one day to get rid of them once and for all.

There was no need to rush after all.

[Where is the villain of this world?]

Regardless of whoever ruled the skies or the ground, her task remained her utmost priority, but the System remained silent before it spoke.

[He just fainted in the previous second]

What marvelous timing; he remained conscious enough to see the cringeworthy scene of a heroine rescuing the man in distress.

Situ’s eyes fell on the thin figure.

The original owner was now fourteen, whereas this little slave was at least seventeen or eighteen years old. But looking at his malnourished appearance, which was practically full of thin bones, he looked about her age as well.

He looked so painfully petite and fragile, which roused her urge to be slightly protective over him.

Glancing at the maids that littered around her, Situ’s voice was cold as she ordered, “Why are all of you still standing as if there’s nothing to do? Hurry up and take him to get treated.”

The maids came back to their senses and rushed forward to help. However, as there was not a spot that remained unhurt, the maids didn’t know where to start.

“Get up!” Situ pushed the crowd away. Was it that hard to just carry a person along with you?

She bent down and wrapped his arms around her shoulders to ensure he didn’t fall. Then, she carried him away in a bridal carry.

[The host is mighty!]

The System thought that this host was very promising; she dared to embrace the villain, not a few minutes after transmigrating into this world!

Situ’s mouth twitched slightly because she didn’t like the people around her that acted like busybodies to pry themselves with other people’s matters.

When she saw his beautiful eyes blinking, Situ bowed her head.

His face was fair and clean. If he let his facial features grow in the future, he would definitely turn out to be a beautiful man.

The problem was that he was too light as she panicked slightly while she held him.

Well, I’ll have to make up for that later.

[Host, this is a plan to save the yandere villain, not to raise a baby]

[How much is the blackening value? ]

[88]

The System remained honest with her. Situ almost fell to the ground upon hearing that, walking on the path lathered with cobblestones.

[This is the world you called a ‘piece of cake’? ]

A blackening value of 88 points; did the System think this was a lottery or something?

[The blackening value increased by 30 after the whipping just now]

The System felt like it was being blamed for no reason; this wasn’t something it could control either.

Situ took the man back to her bedroom and summoned the best imperial doctor in the palace. The imperial doctor arrived and started tearing off the clothes sticking to his skin. His touch wasn’t precisely the lightest as that movement caused Yan Xiaobai to groan in pain.

That exclamation made Situ upset, “Can’t you be a little gentler?”

So much for being an imperial doctor, he didn’t even know how to control the strength of his touch.

Situ took the gauze and the medicine from him and sat on the chair, “Get out of the way, I’ll do it,” She was more adept at cleaning and treating physical wounds compared to the so-called imperial doctor, after all.

The imperial doctor who was pushed aside stared at her with a pair of widened eyes. Are you honestly not trying to finish off the patient, Your Highness?

In the entire Sheng Jing Kingdom, no citizen was unaware that the Eldest Princess was practically useless in all fields including piano, chess, calligraphy, and the arts etc.

That’s why the imperial doctor thought that it was an absurd joke for her to treat wounds.

[Host, he is looking down on you]

Situ flicked her wrists and quickly sprinkled the medicinal powder onto the wounds before neatly wrapping them with gauze. She also tied a perfect bow at the end to secure its position.

[It’s okay, he’s just cannon fodder; don’t worry about it]

The System was surprised that the host it brought back was very magnanimous.

Situ, however, didn’t bother to raise her eyes as she spoke, “If you can’t even heal physical injuries like that, it’s a waste for me to be providing your wages! Take him out to be flogged 20 times and send him on his way out of the palace!”

She could remember the memories clearly as if they were hers. After the Kingdom was breached, the original owner blended in with the commoners. As she was sick and in need of medical treatment, the doctors who once prided themselves on saving the sick couldn’t even bear to give up their herbs.

But the initiator of all this was Yan Xiaobai, who was currently extremely weak as he lay on the bed.

Who would have imagined that a little slave that was as humble as an ant would transform into a Prince of an enemy country. He, who brought thousands of troops and horses to battle, was once adamant on taking revenge against those who had once trampled over him.

And that included the original owner!
