A week passed since that day and everything was looking better than ever.
Kyle carried through with his plan to get into a gym but he didn't dare do it in the place Aiysha worked. He also made sure his gym instructor was a man to avoid any complications.
The last thing he needed was for his system to add someone he didn't want to be added to his harem.
In that sense, Kyle did have control of who got into his harem but the recoil of his workouts left his body feeling sore.
He was in no hurry to use his lottery tickets because they didn't seem to have a time limit.
The papers had been signed with Distort company so that meant that Kyle now had one foot into the world he wished to venture into.
He kept in contact with Jane, Ella, and Calista but he didn't meet them during that week.
Absence made the heart grow fonder after all but Ella was one of his more interesting discoveries as a meeting was arranged with Isabella.
Although it was still in its early stages, Ella had renewed hope about a career because she had no idea that Kyle was the owner of such a big agency.
She knew he was rich but not that rich and this gave her a much-needed distraction from life.
Ella didn't attend her parents' funeral despite Jane tryna my her best to persuade.
Jane wanted her to go not for them but for herself, Ella needed closure.
She needed to say those final words to them before they were laid to rest or she might regret it for the rest of her life.
But the most significant thing that happened within that week was the foundation of his nightclub reaching completion.
The construction work had been concluded and Collins all but nailed this job.
Kyle was left speechless, he couldn't complain and it turned out that the man he gave a chance to put in far more effort than required to leave a position impression for future jobs.
James was a blessing in disguise and Kyle was glad that he took this gamble because it paid up.
He gave Collins $10,000 as a thank you, certain that he would share it among himself and workers.
They have been cutting it short for quite some time so it would be no surprise that they had finally reached their limit.
This would bring tension to any family but this was just an assumption, nothing was backing this up.
Jones sat on the chair without saying a single word for a full minute but Kyle wasn't going to let this opportunity to tease him pass him by.
"It looks like your misfortune just might be my fortune," Kyle said with a smile but Jones exclaimed, clasping his mouth shut in the process.
"How dare you...!" Jones barked at Kyle, getting to his feet in haste before charging right at Kyle.
"W-Woah! Take it easy man!" Kyle tried to get some distance but tripped himself up, landing on his buttocks.
Jones reached for his neck and Kyle tried to defend himself but all that came after was an uncontrollable laughter from Jones.
"You nearly shit yourself!" Jones had tears rolling down his cheeks.
Kyle heaved a sigh of frustration, he couldn't believe that Jones found a way to reverse the situation but Kyle expected this much from him.
If it was finances then Jones would have been a lot quicker with the quota because that would be their ticket to financial freedom.
"You are way too old to be doing this. You have kids for crying out loud," Kyle said while getting to his feet.
"We never grow up," Jones responded as he returned to his chair.
"Yeah, tell that to police, R. Kelly," Kyle fired back but he understood what Jones meant.
"Ha! Nice one," Jones responded but he had yet to tell Kyle why he was there prompting him to just come out and ask.
"Why are you here?"
"I just need a break from Aiysha... You see, she is ovulating..." Jones revealed and an awkward silence followed.
"Yeah, maybe I shouldn't have told you that," Jones confessed.
"YOU THINK! GET OUT!" Kyle fired back to which Jones simply chuckled.
