Chapter 85: Stranger In The Gym?

"You must be new here; I haven't seen you here before," the lady pointed out, but Kyle was surprised by this statement because he had been coming here for a week.

There was no way that she wouldn't have noticed him if she was paying attention to who came here.

Kyle knew this could be her shooting her shot but that would be strange, women rarely approached men first so if she was doing this with him then how many others had she done it with? Kyle didn't choose a female trainer for a reason because he knew that the lines could easily be blurred if sex got in the mix.

It would only complicate things for him, but it wouldn't be such a bad idea to have a friend in the gym. Whatever workout she was doing was clearly working; otherwise, her body wouldn't be as toned as it was.

"Maybe you didn't look hard enough," Kyle showed a glimpse of his humour.

He still didn't know the woman's intention but reeled from his encounter with Cassandra, his mind couldn't help but wonder if this woman would feel differently.

"Maybe I didn't..." The lady responded with a smile before taking up the machine beside him.

"I hope you don't mind," The lady requested. Kyle shook his head to give her the go-ahead.

He didn't own the gym so she was free to do whatever she wanted, there was no reason for him to stop her.

"Go right ahead," Kyle responded to her. Getting up to change to the proper dumbbells or he risked looking like a deformed specimen with an arm being bigger than the other.

This was the last thing he wanted because it would be tricky to correct but Kyle didn't return to his original position and instead opted to gain some distance from the lady.

He continued to do his curls, he noticed that his muscles weren't as sore as when he first started and this was because his body was adjusting to the strain that came with working out.

Kyle focused on his workout routine and was done in the next thirty minutes, he wasn't going to stay a second longer either.

He went to the locket to have a quick shower but he came up with a way to keep Aiysha oblivious, he had a change of casual clothes in his bag that he wore the moment he refreshed up so no one could guess he had been to the gym.

Kyle couldn't wait to conclude the business he had going on because that would allow him to truly enjoy his system but he noticed that it wasn't an interactive system.

It didn't speak to him or inform him of anything that he didn't directly ask for, which was how certain features functioned.

Kyle left the gym soon after, his body was sore but not to the degree where he couldn't move.

He got to his car and before he could drive off, he noticed that the lady that was in his space throughout was beside him.

"Are you following me?" Kyle questioned her but his tone was somewhat irritated because it felt like she was stalking him.

"Someone's full of themselves," The lady chuckled, Kyle realized that the car beside him belonged to her and she couldn't move out because he had parked poorly.

No, that wasn't right, she was the one who parked poorly as it was impossible for Kyle to have this skill deficiency. She came here after him because Kyle couldn't recall any car being there when he parked.

She parked in such a way that she needed him to pull out before she could exit the place, this was smart considering the car was not only expensive but it would give her a way to further the conversation.

"She has been watching me," Kyle thought to himself, it was all adding up a little too well.

He looked at the car and noticed it was on the high-end so she must be doing well financially, not everyone could afford a Tesla. Heck, this was his first time seeing one in person.

But how should he navigate this situation?
