Chapter 24: The wand
The next vault was number 713 and had much stricter security measures while containing a single small sack alone. Harry was curious about what was in the sack but Nick was debating weather he should just go out of his way to smash it now and save him the trouble of dealing with Quirelmort. Sure that would basically ruin all of Dumbledore's plans for the future year and make the man rather upset at him and maybe also making the dark lord pissed at him as well..... 'Yeah that plans out.' Nick shivered slightly at the sheer amount of things that could escalate from such a seemingly simple action.-
After that the group left Gringotts and headed over to madam Malkins clothes shop to get their clothes tailor made which cost a single galleon for each of the boys. She said to return in a couple hours to pick them up so the group left the store and headed over to the trunk store to get trunks for both Nick and Harry since they needed a place to store their other supplies. Three shops latter and all the other stuff including books for Harry was done minus the wand.- Ñøv€l--ß1n hosted the premiere release of this chapter.
"You lads go see Mr. Olivander for yer wands I have a bit of business to take of myself but I'll meet you afterwards." Hagrid said while pointing at the old shop in the middle of diagon alley that had a brag written on the front of the door "Makers of fine wands since 382 B.C". The man handed Nick seven galleons which was apparently the price of every wand in the shop regardless of material or core. That seemed like it shouldn't be that way what with the price some of those materials command like phoenix feathers that normally cost a massive amount.-
This quickly became a sort of revolving door game with the elderly man taking and bringing wands back. The iconic line from the book arrived for Harry when he got his holly and phoenix feather wand hinting at his ties to Voldemort. This unfortunately left only Nick without a wand much to Olivander's pleasure as it seems he had a true challenge on his hands. Wand after wand came and went and they all refused to work for Nick.
