The group chatted about themselves quietly as they waited for the first step of the potion to finish. Nick explained about his amnesia and how he didn't actually care if he actually was a muggleborn or not which is why he had chosen not to take the Gringotts test. "You aren't even a little curious , for all you know you could be the long lost descendant of merlin or something." Tracy said not understanding his thinking. Nick shrugged "It's simply no fun to just have everything given to you because of your bloodline. I'd rather earn it all with my own effort and become the next merlin instead." he said proudly.- Ñøv€l--ß1n hosted the premiere release of this chapter.

"Oh? Rather lofty goal you have there don't you think?" Daphne asked having become more comfortable around him. "Not at all , the way I see it I have the rest of my life to reach that point so I have plenty of time , assuming I don't get done it early of course." Nick said with a confident smile. They chatted a bit more about themselves and Nick learned about the blood malediction that had been cast on the Greengrass family four hundred years ago that they have been searching for a cure of this whole time.-

This reminded Nick of the "ancient" section of the library that may in fact contain books on that exact topic if he were to look hard enough. He very much doubted that a spell used four hundred years ago wouldn't be found within the thousand year old library. If anything the spell might have been found in the library by the person who used it. 'If it comes down to it I could just make her a ring that cleanses evil magic from the body. Hopefully i'll be able to reach the skill needed to do so by christmas.' Nick thought while still holding the conversation.

The entire class had Herbology next till 11 which was lunch time and then they had to come back to herbology till 2. After that it was a free period until dinner which was like all meals , optional at Hogwarts. Nick no sooner left the potions classroom with Daphne and Tracy then Ron showed up with Harry and weirdly enough Hermione who definitely didn't belong in the group yet. "How can you sit with these bloody snakes!?" Ron asked angrily.
