Chapter 137: Presents(2)
Nick then put the holey cube back into the fire to get close to melting before taking it out and carefully severing the metal at certain points. This in the end created two separate rings of metal spiraled around each other like a loosely braided rope. Flitwick was clearly impressed with this as it was a very precise piece of work. Nick paid this no attention however as he focused on smoothing out the points where the metal had been severed. Soon he had the metal work done leaving the part Flitwick really wanted to see , the enchanting. -
"Contract." Nick said seriously and the small man wasted no time at all taking a parchment out of the pocket of his robes. Nick grabbed before looking at the professor with a very serious expression "Once I sign this there is no going back , are you a hundred percent sure about this?" he asked sternly and Flitwick nodded "I am too old to get into a craft so I resolved myself to secrecy to see your own , please sign the contract." the small professor said with a reassuring smile. Nick nodded and didn't waste anymore time signing the contract right away.-
A set of magical chains shot out of the contract the moment he did and wrapped around Flitwick's wrist before sinking in leaving a black chain tattoo in it's place there. Nick stored the contract in Greed after that and walked over to the door and locked it before going back to the anvil where the unfinished ring sat. Holding his hammer a white and gold glow began to rise from his body before quickly settling on his right hand and the hammer it was holding. Flitwick let out an audible gasp and had his eyes bulging out of his head in shock.-
Nick transfigured his robes in a pair of shorts leaving his upper body exposed to the professors sight. The small man looked at the balanced and well defined musculature in awe for a few minutes before Nick undid the transfiguration on his robes turning them back to normal. "Thanks to all of my hard work I currently have a perfectly balanced physique that will only improve as time passes and I grow." Nick explained proudly. "It would seem we were all wrong about your future." Flitwick said with a wry smile and Nick chuckled but didn't say anything further.
