""What!?"" everyone exclaimed after Nick spoke. "The man kept referring to me as nephew like he was actually related to me. Whatever the case he was clearly not here with good intentions and I have a feeling it wasn't his idea." Nick said seriously. After that Nick had Dotty return each person to their homes while he focused his attention to beefing up the wards around the island. The magic woven by Rowena Ravenclaw was powerful sure but it had a few weaknesses and Nick could no longer ignore them after what just happened.-

The first thing he did was completely remove the wards for the first time in over a thousand years so he could rebuild them entirely. Of course he waited until he was finished designing the new wards before he did so but it happened either way. He had Seram and Nazgul on high alert as he remade the wards around the island but thankfully he wasn't ambushed. The new wards worked similarly to the previous ones except it was now a multilayered continuously shifting spatial solidification style ward scheme. It took Nick three whole days to finish setting it up after the three weeks it took to design it.-

Nick was startled by this and raised his wand defensively "Ugh , well I guess the jig is up. I didn't come here with any intention of escaping after all I don't have long left after the injuries you dealt me previously. Honestly you wouldn't believe how pissed off that old bastard looked to learn you had both spirit magic and a beast that breathed purgatory flames of all things , it was almost worth the pain. Don't even bother trying to use legilimency this time kid they already took everything you might have wanted to know out and stuffed me full of false memories." The man said with a chuckle after seeing the irritation on Nicks face.-

"If you know you aren't leaving this island alive and you have no use to me why did you come here?"" Nick asked confused. "I am a messager kid. The message is real simple too , stop drawing so much attention to yourself and we won't come after you again. The original plan was to just eliminate you but that would cost us more than it's worth so this was the least preferred plan that we had." the man said with a shrug as he leaned against a tree to rest.-

"Am I supposed to be grateful or something?" Nick asked sarcastically. "HA! You sound just like your mother did before that old bastard killed her. Nah kid they don't give two shits what you feel about it , only that you do what they want. A piece of advice before I kick it in a moment kid , leave it alone and keep your head down because you don't want them to get serious in hunting you." The man said before starting to crumple into ash before Nicks eyes with a one final sigh as he vanished.
