When Louis had kissed enough, he stepped back a little to let Xi Ning breathe easier, and kissed off the water on his lips.

Louis had already noticed that someone was coming, but he just ignored it. When he looked up, the person was still standing there and didn't leave.

Xi Ning followed his line of sight and saw that it was the red-haired woman he had seen before.

Vera is back.

When she was rushing back with a thousand tons of coal from the mine, she contacted the people in the spaceship in advance, adjusted the route and successfully caught up with them. In only such a short period of time, Louis was already seduced by this mermaid. If she knew that this would happen, she would have killed Xi NIng immediately the first time they met.

Vera concealed all her emotions and said calmly, “Yes, all the coal has been brought back, but the nuclear star does not produce coal mines. I went to Black Saturn of my own initiative. You won't punish me for it right?”

Louis was too lazy to listen to her explanation. He picked up Xi Ning and walked to the room, while replying perfunctorily, “I see. It's alright then.”

Xi Ning glanced back quietly and saw Vera's unkind gaze and ghastly expression.

Xi Ning knew that this woman liked Louis at first sight. When she was in the front hall, she was so fierce to him, and even kicked his aquarium.

Before Louis walked further away, Xi Ning deliberately kissed Louis' side face in front of Vera, and Louis slowed down and turned his head. “Hm?”

Knowing that Vera was still watching, Xi Ning continued to kiss Louis on the lips. Louis kissed back and put his arms around Xi Ning. “Okay, okay, wait until we go back and we'll kiss again.”

Xi Ning couldn't see Vera’s expression clearly, but he knew that she must be pissed, so he leaned on Louis's shoulder and didn’t continue to do anything, and went back to the room with him.

After the spaceship of the interstellar pirates left, the battleship in the distance arrived only to see that the merchant ship with half of its cargo robbed. He picked it up and took a look. It was Langdon who had called. Louis had been awakened by the sound, opened his eyes and sat up, “Who is it?”

Xi Ning brought the communicator to him, and Louis pressed the button to answer it. “Spit it out, what’s the matter?”

“Boss, there are warships following us.” Langdon's tone was serious. Xi Ning was very close to Louis, and he heard the voice from the communicator. “I suspect it is the same spaceship that came towards us when we robbed the merchant spaceship.”

They had been rampant in this interstellar space for so long, and even the Federation couldn’t do anything about it. Langdon had contributed greatly to this aspect. With the monitoring equipment he designed, even the Federation's most advanced stealth warships cannot hide within a certain distance.

This warship only followed them not long ago, and was currently keeping some distance behind them, obviously tailing them. Louis immediately lifted the quilt and stood up. “Are you in the control room? I'll come right away.”

He looked at Xi Ning, who had a dazed face, and bent over to comfort him. “I have some matters to deal with. I'll be back soon.”

After talking, Louis quickly got dressed and left. Xi Ning asked the system, “Are they from the Federation?”

“Probably yes,” the system replied. Langdon's voice was too loud just now, the system heard it as well. “Only pirates and federal warships can navigate freely in this galaxy. I think they were targeted when they robbed the merchant spaceship.”

Their important marriage partner has disappeared, so how could the Federation not send someone to look for him. Any suspicious spaceship would be investigated, not to mention the nearby interstellar pirates.
