“Fuck.”

Kang Giha looked at the store that was in chaos and gritted teeth. At that moment, Cocaine, which had been brought to him by the hands of his men, entered the lobby. Kang Giha loosened his watch. He walked over and slapped Cocaine in the cheek without mercy. Kang Giha picked up Cocaine that had fallen due to the force and slammed him against the wall.

“I didn’t know you could rebel like that. Thanks to you, the dormitory and even the store have become a mess.”

Cocaine wiped the blood from his lips. The blow hurt enough to assault his brain. He had seen many of his co-workers being beaten, but it was the first time he had been hit like this. His pride shattered more than the pain pouring down his body. Cocaine stared at him with venomous eyes.

“Who are you hitting now? Don’t treat me like them!”

“I’m surprised you thought of that? I dare you to keep yapping. I’m on the verge of blowing the fuse right now.”

Kang Giha fiddled with the ring. Blood drained from Cocaine’s skin. Cubic with blue light flashed in his eyes like a warning. The remote control for Cocaine was hidden under the cubic. Kang Giha smiled contentedly at Cocaine who had calmed down.

“It’s a good thing you didn’t scream in the end. But that doesn’t change the fact that you rebelled against me. Don’t make excuses saying that you didn’t think of anything because you were scared. I know you’re not weak enough to get distracted by that.”

Cocaine bit his lip. Obviously, this must be the work of Chairman Cha. He’s retaliating for the scam, and it’s got nothing to do with him. However, it was meaningless to question the boss. He couldn’t sleep all night and was up only healing others. People’s groans, selfishness, he was fed up with all of it.

“Please arrange lodging or something soon. It’s uncomfortable at that house right now.”

“You’ve been living so comfortably so far, so you don’t know, but everyone endures that kind of inconvenience. Hurry and go. You have to go and rescue those who are thirsty for your song.”

Kang Giha tapped Cocaine on the cheek with the back of his hand. It was a sense of shame that even dropped it into the abyss. Cocaine staggered and took his steps. His head was jumbled with the murmurs clinging to his back and the insult he had received from his boss. Starting this morning, he had changed the way people look at him.

This was it. Cheers turned into boos in an instant, and people were so shallow and frivolous. To them, he was neither a god nor a companion. He was just a host that provided nutrients. Parasites leave without hesitation when they absorb all the nutrients from the host.

Yeah, Yaba’s unchanging hatred of him was better. A place like this, a hell like this was no longer a place to be. Cocaine opened his lips as he stared vacantly at the floor.

“Did you say that when you first brought in singers, you tested whether they were healers or not?”

Kang Giha’s eyes filled with irritation landed on him.

“At that time… Did you miss anything?”

“What?”

Are you sure you did everything? Really?! Cocaine swallowed the scream down his throat. Kang Giha asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

“Why are you asking that?”

Cocaine lowered his eyes and struggled to find his composure.

“You said before that there might be data that your father didn’t disclose? Can you check it out?”

“My head is about to explode because of the store right now, so it’s best you don’t add onto it too.”

Cocaine pulled up his white, trembling lips.

“It’s because my body is in a strange state these days. The store is a mess, but if I collapse, I won’t be able to go on business trips. If you can find out, please.”

Kang Giha fell into a thought and pulled the corner of his mouth.

“Sure. Right. Paradiso’s treasure shouldn’t be sick. I also had a lot of questions, so let’s find out. Is there anything we don’t know?”

“Yes. I hope it is information that will blow the boss’s mind.”

Cocaine smiled and left the lobby on the first floor. Kang Giha said as he watched Cocaine walking in the distance.

“How much is Cocaine’s penalty?”

“It’s 50 points. Years ago, Cocaine screamed because he couldn’t get used to his vocal training. No one was injured, but all the glass in the living room was smashed, so penalty points were given as a warning. Since then, he hasn’t broken any rules in particular.”

“It’s terrible to only get 50 points after all these years. Add 500 demerit points. This is something that cannot be overlooked.”

Cocaine, he has been way too big. He’s always calm and embraced the people around him, so he thought he was that kind of guy, but the look in his eyes… Giha had a foreboding that one day he might lose control of it. He watched until Cocaine disappeared. At that moment, his subordinates rushed to his feet.

“Boss. The ladder truck has arrived!”

Before the ladder reached the balcony of the Sky Lounge, he jumped into the building. He went into the boss’s office and turned the bookshelf on the wall to the side. He saw a tracking device terminal the size of a computer monitor. When he turned it on, a city map appeared and several small lights were clustered together. The chips embedded in the singers’ heads were connected to the satellite, allowing them to grasp detailed locations. Kang Giha took out the terminal and closed the bookshelf. Imsoo, who followed, spoke up.

“The store is a mess, but the kids won’t even think about escaping.”

“Of course, unless they’re idiots. From the high cost of transplantation to the cost of maintenance every year, hundreds are spent each year, but we’re not spending that money for no reason.”

“Actually, I didn’t know that the boss would really do it.”

Imsoo added.

“It wasn’t the boss’s idea to implant chips into the singers in the first place.”

“I have never regretted following what he said until now. At first, I thought the crazy guy was drunk, but it was a crazy idea. You bring the rest of the paperwork.”

“Yes.”

Kang Giha picked up the terminal and climbed onto the ladder truck.
