Chapter I
Doctor Tian Cheng Chinese Academy of Sciences, Plant Research Institute. Inside a quiet research room, a young man around the age of 27 or 28, wearing a white work shirt, was busy with something. His face was solemn and did not hide his handsome face at all. After a while, he stopped his work, scratched his messy hair, rubbed his bloodshot eyes, and sat down on the sofa. He stretched himself with some effort, making a few "pa pa" sounds.
He looked at the clock on the wall. It was already 11pm.
"Why are you so fast?" Forget it, let's continue tomorrow! " He changed out of his work clothes, mounted his bike, and disappeared into the city.
He was an innate genius, as his colleagues called him, not only because he was a doctorate, but more importantly because his vast knowledge had conquered everyone in the institute. Tian Cheng was an abandoned child who grew up in an orphanage. Even his name was given to him by the dean.
Even so, he, who lacked family love, threw all his love into this world. He was so interested in everything, and was 100% passionate about everything that he was interested in. Most of the things he touched in life, he liked to suggest why, for example: why can a bird fly and a man not? Why can wear glasses can see more clearly? How did the steel come about? And so on and so forth countless questions, then spend time according to what he had learned and search for information one by one to easily solve these several why. As he gained more knowledge, the problems became more complicated. He would often be troubled by questions for months and months. There were also many problems that took three years or four years, and many of them were still mysterious.
From the day he entered school, he had put all his energy into studying. Of course, what he learned was not just books. He had always felt lonely, in the study found himself, found happiness, found spiritual support. A natural talent could only be considered average among those of the same age, but he used his time and sweat to make up for all of his shortcomings. One by one, difficult problems were solved. Just like this, Tian Cheng's results had always been among the top, but he did not choose to jump levels like some "geniuses", allowing him to quickly "become a true genius". Instead, he took one step at a time, trying his best to learn other aspects of his knowledge while completing his studies. At the age of thirteen, he was admitted to the best high school in the province with the best grade in the city. Three years later, he once again entered one of the top universities in the country. To Tian Cheng, there were too many things he wanted to learn. When he was filling in the matriculation requirements, he could only close his eyes and randomly tick it when hesitating. And so, he chose plant research.
In university, he was like a fish in water, because here he could unscrupulously study everything that interested him. Without the strict rules, no one would disturb his research." Spend a lot of money to find yourself a basement to use as your bedroom and research room. In fact, such a place was exactly what Tiancheng needed, spacious and quiet, just a little bit dark and humid. At the age of eighteen, he had already lost the support of the country. He had to rely on his outstanding grades to get a scholarship every year, as well as to work as a laborer to live his life. The many years of living as an orphan had taught him to endure hardships.
In this way, every day, Tian Cheng diligently studied his professional knowledge and everything that interested him. Most of his time was spent reading in the library, discussing with the teachers and researching in his "research room". The instant noodles seemed to have become his main dish. However, he was still doing this every day for the sake of his curiosity and for the sake of a better future.
Very soon, Tian Cheng had finished his graduate studies and became a doctor. That kind of life didn't change until a few days before he graduated. All it changed was that the subjects he studied became more and more profound.
He was twenty-eight years old and had worked at the institute for two years. In those two years, he had accomplished a lot in his research projects, and as a reward, the institute had arranged for him to have a private research lab. In fact, there were many results that were not announced in private by Tian Cheng. It wasn't that he had any selfish thoughts, he was just used to living a simple life and definitely didn't want to be the center of attention, thus breaking his own normal life. He didn't have any friends, or rather, he hadn't met anyone he liked in all these years. However, he had a very good relationship with many people, and most of the people he had interacted with had feelings for him. Ever since he was young, he had always been like this, because he was very willing to help others without asking for anything in return. Therefore, with his talent in some small circles, many people liked to find him to help solve various problems. Sometimes, Tian Cheng would tease him, "I'm a loner, but I'm definitely not a loner."
When he returned to his room and opened the door, he saw that all the decorations were simple and unadorned. The former basement was now a single apartment with one room and one room. Everything was neatly placed there. He couldn't help but doubt his own eyes. How could such a busy man have such a home appearance? Not only was it not "dog's nest" as he had imagined, but there was also a trace of a girl's meticulousness.
Actually, this was a habit that Tian Cheng had formed over the years. Whether it was his work or his life, he was very meticulous and meticulous. He took off his clothes, took a hot shower, and lay down on the bed. He didn't forget to recall his day's work even after narrowing his eyes. Slowly, he entered into his dream.
