'Not so much on the cosmic scale but not too bad either,'
Azrail thought, the one in front of him being a young Viridian with emerald green skin that glistens under the sunlight. His eyes are large and almond-shaped, with deep blue irises that stand out against his green skin. His hair has a bright shade of chartreuse, and it is slicked back away from his face, giving him a sharp and confident look.
He has a lean and toned build with long limbs, and his fingers and toes are adorned with sharp claws that are the same color as his hair. Despite his youthful appearance, there is a sense of wisdom and intelligence in his gaze, indicating that he has already started to cultivate his powers and knowledge before getting trapped here.
"Can you repeat your question again?"
Azrail asked back in a calm tone, but the guy didn't flinch, his eyes were sparkling as always as he asked back.
"Then what if we don't want this?"
"Simple, you will serve me in death,"
Azrail commanded and waved his hand at the proud young Viridian, Persefone bearing his command left his body reaching the Viridian in seconds, catching his body in black flames, starting to burn him up. Thanks to the restriction by Nayan, he couldn't do anything but scream and be burned, his type being weak to fire.
"Arghh!.....Nooo!...help....!"
His screams echoed in the humongous hall, but no one moved forward to help, they could only watch with wide eyes as the Viridian's body started to crack under the black flame, eventually turning into a charred body as he fell to the ground; his life was already over, and as such, Persefone returned back to Azrail, leaving that charred body behind.
The silence lingered in the hall, but Azrail was just beginning, willing the power of death, Azrail commanded.
"Arise."

'Um... seems to work out well'
As soon as the three had given their stance, the rest followed like clockwork, kneeling without remorse, even the ones with the highest pride knelt down. None of them wanted to cross the fine line between arrogance and foolishness.
A minute later, all the 1700 people were kneeling to him, their heads downwards with their bodies too down, all staying low, while Azrail sat at the top looking down at them with calm eyes. His mind flashed with a certain complex feeling as he sat above the species of power, ones with power above him, ones in the past that wouldn't even notice him.
Beastmen, Fae, Demons, Giants, Nymphs, Revenants, Gnomes, Harpies, Merfolk, Sylphs, Centaurs, Dwarves, humans, and more kneeled right beneath his feet, their fate at his hand.
'I can now understand a bit of why such arrogance and height breeds in those of power'
Azrail thought, his eyes flashing with a certain emotion which he quickly pressed down. He closed his eyes for a moment, the deepest power within him being called out.
The crown appeared above his head, the cloak of death taking over him, the power over death blasted from within him, soon covering over the entire hall, a ghastly presence bringing about a soul-crushing fear and pressure.
"First Authority: Promise Within Death"
Just as the words were spoken, a darkish gas-like power rippled out from Azrail and spread to everyone here. None of them were able to move as Nayan had placed the restriction back. Like a snake, it coiled around everyone and entered inside their body, drilling into their soul, and placing the seal.
Such a seal can't be placed without permission but there is another way around it, it can be done by the person placing down their pride and coming down. This was why Azrail wanted their compliance, they might not accept it at heart, but just the fact of coming down gave all the reasons that Azrail needed.
From the weakest to the strongest felt it, a lock is placed on them, the feeling of a collar wrapping around them covered over them, and they instinctively knew that their life was no longer theirs, they were locked by him, forever at his hands, and ironically the key to the lock laid with.....
...him.
