Under Larappa's command, they traveled for a day towards the edge of the world.
(I see, so 10 Magic Cores linked make it travel as fast as an airplane. I can feel the wind.)
"Let's go! That's what I've been waiting for!"
"Huh? What are you talking about?"
Cecile reacted to Allen's unusual reaction.
At first he had been excited about learning about magic ships, but they were quite slow.
The island's speed had been like an average magic ship at first, making it tricky for long trips.
With 10 Magic Cores, it was closer to the airplanes in Allen's past life.
Going south would lead to the edge of the world faster, but it was still possible for this world to be a sphere.
If that was the case, they would end in the Forgotten Continent to the north, which meant challenging the last boss.
Even with the Fish S summon unsealed, it was hard to say if Allen could win that fight.
Being overly cautious, the island headed east instead.
Ignoring Cecile, Allen went closer to the island's edge and looked out to the world below.
Heavy User Island had reached the eastern edge of the world.
Merus had advised them to not get any further.
"Wait, that's the world's edge? That's actually incredible! It's like the sea just falls off!!"
Cecile became quite energetic as well, shouting loudly at what she saw.
Fiona was baffled seeing her behave so improperly.
"Hey, Cecile. That's not how a lady should talk."
"Shut up and come see. The ocean is literally pouring out. Won't the oceans get drained like this?!"
Fiona looked dubious but she got closer to the edge too.
Allen recalled the times when both of them would place a carpet on the garden and lie down together in Grandvelle's mansion.
He also had nightmarish memories of their fights, and Cecile wanting to learn Kumite after losing.
"Really? This is what the world's edge looks like?!!"
Luck was slightly scared at first, but soon sounded quite excited at what he saw.
He had been back at his village for a while, but Allen brought him back to the island.
Luck's tutor had given him a break, so Luck was unhinged too.
Meanwhile Allen started studying the place.
(Hmm, this really is a full out fantasy world, there's a proper world's edge. And so the air there isn't normal air, but what Merus called Void then?)
The sea clearly came to an end, and the blue sky changed into an odd color.
It was not quite like outer space, but there were no clouds there either.
'Allen, you shouldn't do that.'
"Hm? Why is that, Merus?"
'The God of Creation hasn't formed that place yet. It's a Void World. Your Summoner Skills won't work there.'
Merus had already mentioned that before, but he repeated everything again.
Allen was glad to have the First Angel as a summon for cases like that.
"A Void World?"
'Yes. Your summon won't be able to see anything, and it won't be able to turn back into a card.'
Skills did not work properly in the Void World.
So if a summon was sent there, chances were Allen would lose control of it.
Turning it back into a card would be impossible too, essentially losing the summon.
"I see, so I'll lose control. I still want to try though. Larappa, give me the bracelet."
Allen still wanted to test things.
"Huh? Ahh, I see. Hold your arm out, I'll put it on you."
Allen understood what Merus meant, but he still wanted to conduct experiments.
He obtained the magic device to retrieve thrown items from Larappa.
It also had something like a receiver, which was fastened to a spear.
(I knew it, this is why I spent all those days throwing stones.)
Allen recalled how he threw stones at the trees in his garden when he was small.
Everyone watched as Allen rearranged his cards to beast summons, increasing his Attack.
"Hmph!!"
He threw the cheap spear with all his strength into the Void World.
The spear flew far and disappeared in the distance.
"That throw was so powerful. It was almost like my Brave Lance…"
Rath was shocked seeing how fast the spear traveled.
Allen's throw seemed almost as powerful as his Extra Skill.
"Alright, that's enough time. Spear, return."
Allen focused on the magic device to make the spear return.
Everyone around him watched silently.
"It's not coming back."
Cecile broke the silence.
"I see, it's like a completely different world there, out of reach for the magic device. Good thing we stopped the island here."
Larappa was also studying Allen's experiment.
"Hmm, now that I know the world's edge is real, I guess we can't just go to the Divine Realm."
'Allen…'
Merus looked at Allen with a difficult expression.
Merus knew that there were different realms.
Void existed between all of them, so the Gate of Judgement was the only way to enter the Divine Realm.
But that had never opened once in the 100'000 years Merus had been alive.
Figuring how to open that gate that had never opened seemed to be Allen's next task.
Trying to find another way into the Divine Realm had yielded no results.
"I know, I'll have to take the proper route there."
While everyone thought that was something Allen would attempt, only Shea was impressed.
She was starting to realize that the proper way was not always the only option.
"What should we do then, Allen? Should we just go back to Latash?"
Cecile asked him what he had planned now.
As the Commandant of Allen's Army, he was asked to take part in the Five Continents' Alliance meeting, so she wanted to know if he would head there next.
"No, that's still a few days away. We'll fight Digragni first. Kurena's Skill Levels have gotten high enough."
(We have a few days, so we'll try fighting Digragni.)
After the fight with the Evil God's tail, Kurena's Skill Levels had returned to 1.
Ignomas was a 4 Star Spear King, so he could not undergo a Talent Change, but Rosalina had undergone one now.
Rosalina and Kurena had been raising their Skill Levels.
Kurena, Dogora, and Rosalina were away bringing their Skill Levels up.
"I guess knowing a past emperor of their country is the Demon King is a bit of an issue."
"Yeah. Helmios also told me to wait a bit."
The meeting had been planned since before.
Representatives from all countries were gathering in Latash's capital.
But Giamut's emperor had requested a last minute delay.
Since they had free until the new date, Allen had taken everyone to see the world's edge.
1000 years ago there was a terrible emperor in Giamut that conquered the entire continent, and now he was reborn as the Demon King.
Helmios told that to Giamut's current emperor, and the meeting was postponed.
They had to deal with that information there first.
Now Allen decided to fight Digragni first, and then attend the meeting.
Then he would head to the Dragon God's village, and the Gate of Judgement.
(I guess I'll have to go through the Gate of Judgement to enter the Divine Realm after all.)
There were three realms, the Divine Realm, Human Realm, and Underworld.
The space between all of them was the Void World.
Allen had gone to the world's edge to try reaching the Divine Realm through the Void World.
But Skills did not work, and there did not seem to be any other way through.
The only option was to visit the Dragon God's village.
Allen felt like his map of activity was growing bigger together with his abilities.
Allen left Heavy User Island in Larappa's hands, and headed to the S Rank Dungeon.
There he and his party lined up to enter the temple at the entrance of the S Rank Dungeon.
After teleporting through the various floors and reaching the last, they met with the members of Allen's Army and the Hero's Army who were taking a break.
"Shea, you should put on the Beast King's Emblem."
"Hm? Ah, right. I guess I have no choice."
Shea took out the three items that formed the Beast King's Emblem from her magic bag.
The hold left by the Cursed Sword Onuba had been fixed by Habarak.
He had also reshaped it to fit Shea's body.
There were women in both armies, so they had a changing room for them on the last floor.
Allen made sure she was not double guessing herself as she walked there.
"Alright, time to defeat Digragni. Merle, your time to shine has come."
Shea came back, and Allen spoke to Merle.
"Yeah! I'll shine bright!!"
(Preparations are ready, and there's no second guessing.)
Merle gave an energetic reply.
There was no hesitation or exhaustion in her voice.
Allen's party used to have a big issue.
He was faintly aware of it from the beginning, but it became painfully obvious after Dogora's howl after they fought Lycaoron.
Dogora had been unable to use his Extra Skill, remaining useless.
Merle had also been looking down on herself while they were in the Academy.
Allen had told them to keep in mind that not everyone needed to play vital roles all the time.
Getting to Extra Mode was also a good objective to have, but it was impossible to know when it would happen, or even if it would happen for everyone.
It was also hard to tell what kind of equipment they would continue to get.
Everyone had different strengths, so he put emphasis in telling them to not compare themselves to each other. They simply had to do what they could with their power.
Allen looked at Shea.
"Right, today it'll be Merle's time to shine. I'll do everything I can to help too."
She looked back at Allen, telling him she understood what he wanted.
Even though she had her own goals and ambitions, she would do what she could for Merle.
She was wearing the orichalcum armor, knuckle guards, and Sacred Bead that Bek wore.
Once Shea came back from the changing room, Kurena's group also got there.
They had raised their Skill Levels as much as they could.
Everyone from Allen's party was there, except for Peromus.
The two new members, Rosalina and Ignomas, were there too.
Everyone had gathered, so Allen spoke to the cube that often appeared in dungeons.
'Would you like to challenge the last boss?'
It answered with the same robotic voice as always.
"Yes, all of us will go."
They all went to Gordino's boss room, something which they did daily.
'Heheheh. I'm Gordino. The ruler of the S Rank Dungeon and the guardian of the last floor. Who knew there were people foolish enough to challenge me.'
Gordino repeated his usual line.
There were 5 golems there, with Gordino being the leader.
"Oh, the fight started already? I'll use my Skill then."
Rosalina cast her buffs.
The fight against Gordino started.
Five minutes passed after that.
'Th-this can't be. I can't deal with them like this.'
Gordino's first phase was over, changing to his true form, but he was swiftly defeated.
'That's a really fast time to defeat Gordino. But I guess you aren't ready to face me yet.'
They defeated Gordino like they did every day, and received the same invitation as every day.
Someone spoke to the party once Gordino had been defeated.
"Actually we will challenge you today, Digragni."
'What?! Are you sure?!!'
Digragni's excited voice echoed through the last floor's boss room.
