"I want to make love to you?" Oliver whispered seductively between kisses as he sat up and leaned in towards Trisha's ear.

Trisha bit her lips when she heard this.

"I want to make love to you all night long and get you screaming for more," he said as he nibbled on her ear lobe and started kissing her neck.

Trisha subconsciously gasped in pleasure as she gripped onto the man's arms. Before she knew it, his hands had traveled down to her thighs. He gently forced her legs apart and ran his hands across her inner thighs. Trisha arched her back and tugged at the man, directing his kisses back to her lips. He was teasing her and she couldn't resist.

The man snuck a smile as his tongue dived into her mouth. He then ran one of his hands up her thigh towards the most sensual part of her body.

Trisha gasped again in pleasure and returned the favor by touching the man between his thighs as well.

She had made a decision and she was not changing her mind, but before tomorrow morning, she was going to let go of everything and indulge in this moment with Oliver.

Oliver pulled her towards him and removed the clothes from her body, and Trisha quickly responded by pulling off his clothes as well.

As he looked at her n.a.k.e.d body, he ran his hands across her smooth skin and soft b.r.e.a.s.ts, then, with one gentle thrust, he entered her body, forcing the woman to scream in pleasure.

It felt even better than he imagined.

As he moved rhythmically, he admired the woman's s.e.xy figure. Since she was an Interpol agent, she was extremely fit and her body drove him crazy.

He couldn't get enough of it.

As he watched Trisha m.o.a.n in pleasure, he smiled wickedly and looked into her eyes. "You won't be getting any sleep tonight," he warned.

The couple moved from the bed, to the bathroom, to the kitchen, then to the balcony. They couldn't get enough of each other's body.

Finally, after they exhausted all their energy, Oliver collapsed on the bed and fell asleep.

Trisha glanced out the window. He told her he wasn't sleeping that night and he was right. The sun was already rising and the night was over. But, like a princess in a fairytale, it was time to wake up from her dream.

Trisha quietly slipped on some clothes and pulled out a suitcase she had already packed and hidden away. She was too afraid to say it to Oliver's face, but she was leaving. She was going back to Hong Kong and accepting the promotion she had been offered. It was the best outcome for both of them. Oliver could be on good terms with his mother again and continue with his career in London, and she could return to her dangerous, risky life in Hong Kong.

They shared an amazing night together, and she would remember it forever, but that memory was a parting gift; a reminder that they were once a part of each other's lives.

She knew her decision would hurt Oliver. But, they hadn't been together for long and their relationship wasn't deep, so she knew the pain would not stay for long. She didn't mind if he hated her for this decision. In fact, she preferred it, it was easier that way.

As she thought this, she regretted not sticking to her initial intentions of remaining friends. At least, they could have remained a part of each other's lives. But now, as she quietly dragged her suitcase towards the door, she glanced at the man one last time and knew that this was goodbye forever. It was impossible to remain friends after this.

The tears she had been holding back finally rolled out from the corner of her eyes. In a trembling whisper, she said, "I love you," before she walked out the door and walked out of the man's life...

...

Halia sat awkwardly beside Roy and snuck a glance at Marissa again.

Did this woman really not recognize her?

Halia simply had a mustache and shorter hair. Was it that hard to tell who she was?

But, as unbelievable as it was, it was true, Marissa really had no idea it was Halia.

After all, she had only met Halia a couple of times, and every time she saw her, her eyes were focused on the handsome Emerson Wu.

Marissa noticed Halia secretly glancing at her and she smiled to herself. She sat upright, stuck out her chest and brushed her hair back confidently. This young man seemed to be attracted to her. Otherwise, why did he keep glancing at her in such a shy way?

She had failed with Emerson, but perhaps she could date a little lawyer instead.

Marissa winked at Halia and Halia quickly looked away. Why did Marissa wink at her? Was she telling her that she recognized her? But if she did, why didn't she just expose her?

Halia's heart raced in a panic and she subconsciously held her hand against her chest to calm it down.

Marissa saw this and smiled. Was this man already so in love with her that he couldn't control his beating heart?

Marissa turned to Roy and said in a soft and saddened tone, "Thank you for meeting with us, Lawyer Chen. I know it's been a tiring 5 months. Let's finalize the will that my dead husband left behind and get on with our lives..."

As she spoke, she deliberately emphasized the words, 'dead husband', and glanced at Halia to see her reaction. She wanted to make it clear that she was single and ready to mingle...

But, Halia simply helped Roy pull out the doc.u.ments from his briefcase and arranged them into neat piles for him to go through.

Roy picked up the first pile and cleared his throat, "Here are all the receipts from outstanding fees and debts that your husband owed, including mortgages, loans, phone bills, utility bills, bank fees...etc. I've already paid them with the money he left behind."

Roy handed the pile to Halia and she passed them on to Marissa. But, as she did so, her hand accidentally brushed against the woman's hand.

Marissa blushed a little and winked at Halia again. As soon as Halia saw this, she quickly retracted her hand and sat down nervously as Marissa flipped through the receipts casually. Marissa didn't really care about her dead husband's matters, she just wanted to know what her share of his assets were. But, she still had to put on a little show in front of the relatives.

Roy looked at his nervous little assistant and smirked. It seemed, the rumors were right. Marissa Qian never loved her husband, she simply married him for his money. Otherwise, why would she be eyeing another man when her husband's body had just been laid to rest not long ago?

He had chosen the right target. This was exactly the reason why she was suitable for his intentions.
