Chapter 361 - Tracking Boginya

Name:Help...My Wife is a Spy Author:Yunyi
Halia held onto the phone nervously. "Kidnapped?" she asked. "When did this happen?"

She had just seen the two men about 4 days ago in their lab. How did they suddenly get kidnapped and who took them? No one knew about the two doctors or what they were doing apart from a few selected people that had sworn to secrecy. Unless someone knew about their experiments, they had no use for them.

"To be honest, you and Captain Wu may have been the last people to see them," Trisha replied. Even now, she still called Jackson, 'Captain Wu'. After all, he was her idol.

"That was 4 days ago! Why am I being contacted now?" Halia exclaimed. She could sense some hesitation in Trisha's voice.

"I was only told last night that you may be able to help..." Trisha said softly. It sounded like she didn't want to bother Halia, but she was left with no choice.

"Me?" Halia asked in surprise. "I am on leave and I am pregnant. Plus, I have not heard from Dr. Li and Dr. Ren after I saw them last. How can I help you?"

"I know...that you're a BTA..." Trisha whispered, afraid that someone would overhear her, even though she was all alone in her office and no one knew what a BTA was. "Captain Tang explained it to me last night..."

Halia almost choked when she heard this. Captain Tang would never reveal this...unless it was something really serious.

"Halia...Boginya kidnapped Dr. Li and Dr. Ren..." Trisha revealed.

Halia's hand trembled and she almost dropped her phone when she heard the woman's name. Boginya? Boginya was a founder of The Organization!

"We weren't sure at first. After all, no one had ever met Boginya in real life and we knew nothing about her. All I had was the information you gave me from Korea and a message from Eagle that she was in Beijing. I remembered that you mentioned her real name was Sofia, so I started following that lead. Sure enough, a woman named Sofia Lebedev flew into Beijing by herself from Moscow two days before the two doctors went missing and checked out of her hotel on the day that they didn't return to work. After further investigations we spotted her on CCTV footage, sitting opposite the Beijing Police Department on the night that, according to Captain Tang, you were visiting the two doctors with Captain Wu. I suspect she was there for you but ended up setting her target on Dr. Li and Dr. Ren instead," Trisha explained.

"We've been using all our resources over the past few days to track her. No one knows where she went after she checked out of her hotel and there are no records of her flying back out of the country. But, Captain Tang did manage to uncover a mole in the Beijing Police Department. We believed that he had been working with The Organization for a long time and he may have been the one that notified Boginya about your visit. After 2 days of questioning, he finally confirmed that we were right: Boginya had taken the two doctors. As you know, Boginya is one of the founders of The Organization and possibly an ex-KGB agent; she has a vast network of connections and she is an expert at covering up her own tracks. So, finally left with no choice, Captain Tang decided to reveal everything to me about the experiments that Dr. Li and Dr. Ren were involved in and how you are the first BTA. He told me this because...you apparently have Trojan's memories...and Trojan may have information about Boginya..." Trisha said in disbelief. This finally explained why Halia always had such reliable 'hunches': Nightingale, Archangel, Eagle, and Boginya were all discovered because of her. And, it also explained why one of the founders of The Organization had kidnapped these two doctors.

Halia held her head and closed her eyes for a short moment. It was a lot of information to absorb.

"Halia, is there anything in Trojan's memory that could help us?" Trisha asked with hope in her voice.

"I'm not sure," Halia furrowed her brows and tried to access Trojan's memories. But, the only thing that came to mind was the same scene she witnessed last time: two n.a.k.e.d bodies indulging in the pleasures of a.d.u.l.thood. Two familiar voices m.o.a.ned in pleasure as Halia sighed in disgust. Was it the hormones from her pregnancy that were making her remember this particular scene?

But, as the memory grew more vivid, Halia realized it was slightly different from last time.

"...I love you Boginya!" Trojan exclaimed as he reached his climax and lay down beside the Russian beauty in his arms. Boginya? Last time she saw these two, Trojan had clearly called her Sofia. Was this a different memory further down the timeline?

Just as she was thinking this, the woman lifted her head and looked Trojan in the eyes; the same eyes Halia had previously seen.

Halia stared into the woman's bluish-gray eyes. Last time she accessed Trojan's memory, she only saw these eyes and struggled to see her face. But, this time, to her surprise, the woman's nose slowly came into view, followed by her lips, her ears, her hair, her neck...

Before she knew it, Sofia Lebedev came clearly into view.

Trojan's heart raced as he looked at the woman. He truly loved her and Halia felt slightly sorry for him.

She was beautiful. Her hair was a light brown, her nose was thin and tall, her lips were thick and luscious. Halia could see why this man was so obsessed with her.

Sofia Lebedev pursed her lips, grabbed her clothes, and stood up to get dressed. "We are almost there," she said indifferently as she looked out the window and buttoned her shirt.

Almost there? Almost where? Halia thought to herself as Trojan stood up as well and started pulling up his pants.

That was when Halia realized the scenery outside the window was moving. Mountains of vast, uninhabited land flew past as they moved at high speed. Halia held her breath and looked around. She originally thought they were inside a room, but she realized at that moment that they were actually standing inside a small 2-person cabin. As the cabin swayed slightly, she could hear wheels rumbling against the tracks below them.

They were inside a train!

Quite a luxurious one too, judging by the expensive fabric and curtains.

Halia glanced at the little table attached to the window and noticed a pamphlet sitting on top. Across the front of the pamphlet were the words, 'Welcome aboard the Trans-Siberian Railway'.

That's right! It was possible to travel from Beijing to Moscow via train! Was this why she was seeing this memory?

At that moment, a knock on Halia's office door snapped her back to reality. She quickly opened her eyes and saw Natalie return with a smile on her face.

"Look what I've got for you..." she tempted as she waved a folder in her hand before she realized Halia was on the phone and quietened down.

Halia held onto her phone and furrowed her brows, "Have you looked into train travel? Could she be returning to Moscow that way?"
