CH 106

Name:Heroine On Strike Author:Sharino
Luciella was so intelligent that she could memorize anything after seeing it once. What would happen when such a woman with that level of intelligence and the power to threaten the imperial power goes insane?

She showed what would happen through her actions. Luciella met with the Emperor with a heavily disappointed look on her face, “I heard there is a secret room within the Imperial Library.”

“How do you know about that?”

“I heard there’s a book that has a record of a spell that makes one fall in love. It was a spell that Empress Reyshill used. Your Majesty, please allow me to read that book.”

“Such a book doesn’t exist.”

“It should exist. It must exist. Your Majesty, I truly wish to become happy with His Highness.”

Unable to reject Luciella, who was begging him while sobbing, the Emperor clicked his tongue with a sigh and conceded, “Alright. I’ll allow you to look into the books that are there. However, you must give up if there isn’t such a book. I’ll still proceed with your marriage even if you don’t win over his heart.”

“Thank you, Your Majesty.”

But Luciella didn’t intend on finding such a book. After entering the deepest part of the Imperial Library, she found a hidden book and commented, “This is it. This is the book Estinu told me about.”

There, Luciella memorized all the terrible spells that could be used without mana, just as Estinu had told her. First, it started with conjuring small beings to bother Clara but soon evolved into life-threatening kinds of spells.

“Leave. Then you’ll find peace.”

“No. Why do I need to go while leaving my loving Cladis behind? You’re the one who should leave,” retorted Clara.

“You dare tell me to leave?”

“It’s better to leave than to be abandoned miserably.”

“Oh, is that it? You must feel so confident. Let’s see who will be abandoned in the end.”

After that, Luciella didn’t hesitate to attack Clara. If she wasn’t going to be abandoned miserably, then she needed to be killed miserably. Luciella cast all kinds of spells all over for Cladis, who was trying to protect Clara. As such, he had to run from east to west trying to solve problems while Clara had to face all kinds of life-threatening incidents.

‘Clara the undying.’

Thanks to Clara, Luciella was driven even more insane. Her insanity that started with thoughts of killing Clara to acquire Cladis soon evolved into thoughts of killing the both of them. But even in that situation, the Emperor forced the marriage between Cladis and Luciella.

“Father. Don’t you understand who started all of this?!” spat Cladis.

It’s you who started this! I’ve told you many times to abandon that woman!”

“I won’t do that.”

“Then, the problem is yours to deal with. You’ll still need to marry Ella.”

“Father!” yelled Cladis.

The Emperor tried to persuade his son to get married so that Cladis could do whatever he wanted afterward, but he refused. As a result, he had to oppress his son and used his power to drag him to the wedding. The scene involving the begrudged Luciella and Cladis who was forced into it, was one of the worst weddings ever. At the end of that absurd wedding, the Emperor gave Cladis the throne as if he had thrown away something he despised.

“You are now the Emperor from now on.”

It was completely insane how everything had turned out. And that was only the beginning. At the wedding, another hidden insane woman awakened. Clara, who stubbornly stayed by Cladis’s side, despite facing such hardships, revealed her true self as soon as Luciella became empress.

“If you’ll have him, then I’ll have you.”

Clara sided with the demon that Luciella had conjured to hurt her and began preparing a dangerous spell to take control of Luciella’s body. The story afterward was so awful that it was the epitome of tragedy. That strange memory ended with the world crumbling down.
