The words that Didi used to talk about it being expensive, or the price to be paid all led to the points inside the can. He could be an administrator or a god, but he couldn’t do anything without those points.
“Oh, right. You’re poor because your team flushed out your savings.”
“Hey!” shouted Didi angrily. Although, he had to laugh at Ella’s teasing. This brilliant woman already knew what he had to say in this world. It was hard to tell if he should warn her or be astonished by her. What’s certain was that even in a dangerous situation like this, he didn’t dislike it.
“Since you know, I won’t explain any further. Come to me when you find a setting you wish to change. And feel free to come to me when you need my help as well,” said Didi.
Didi was about to finish this meeting by speaking the closing lines when Ella interrupted, “What can you help with? Tell me everything that you can do without being restricted by the rules. Everything!”
It was those eyes she had like yesterday when she tried to take everything off of him. Didi flinched, moved as far as he could from Ella, and stood by the fence. He had to take back that he thought he didn’t dislike her. This woman was scary. “You took that much from me, and you still want something? I can help you only in a way that Alexis B de Tuchizen can do.”
Ella felt a bit insulted to see Didi look frightened when she wasn’t going to eat him or anything, but it wasn’t the time to get insulted. She became excited, got close to Didi, and asked, “Then what can Alexis do for me?”
Seeing her intrigued eyes, Didi thought seriously about what he could do. He did say come find him when she needed help. However, being asked what he could do, he couldn’t think of much of what was possible for him. There wasn’t much a 14-year-old boy could do.
“I can use a sword.”
“And?” said Ella.
As she continued questioning him, Didi thought once more, seriously thinking about what he could do. But even after thinking about it for a while, he couldn’t find an answer. As his thought process got longer, Ella’s excited expression turned dull.
“Is that all?” questioned Ella.
“Sorry. I realized I’m actually not that useful. So, don’t come to find me. I gotta go now,” apologized Didi. It felt like he would have to come up with something if he stayed any longer, so he quickly moved to clean up the soundproof wall and ran toward the terrace. Then he stood by the entrance and turned to Ella. “Oh, and don’t call me Didi from now on. I’m Alec here. Bye!”
“Didi!” shouted Ella.
Hearing her shout, Vylun tried to catch Didi, who was quickly leaving the terrace. Unfortunately, Didi ran away at an unbelievable speed. Should he chase after him or look after Ella’s safety? Vylun ran into the terrace.
“What is it?”
Ella returned to her senses as she watched Vylun running in. The soundproof wall was gone. Now, she had to come back from being the Invited Guest who met the administrator to Ella. She calmed herself for being angry at Didi running away and calmly smiled at him.
“Nothing. It’s fine, Vylun. Don’t worry.”
“But you…”
“I think he got a bit angry at my joke. I should apologize the next time I see him. I sometimes make bad jokes, you know. It’s all because of my brothers,” said Ella as she nonchalantly turned the focus on her. Vylun’s nervousness eased when he learned that it was Ella, who made a mistake instead of Didi. He then focused on her personal stories.
“My brothers sometimes forget that I’m a woman,” Ella spoke grumpily as she wrapped her arms around and glared at the empty space as if all of this was to be blamed on her brothers.
