Chapter 69 - 66: Ours

Watching the bride come into the hall and joyful applause from the crowds, Xiao Yun's eyes gaze at Li Lei and doze off on the sight of his back. 

Amidst the noisy chattering, she became even immersed in her own thoughts, ' If I really forgot my memory-Why did Li Lei and my family doesn't know this?... No way...Did perhaps someone planned for all this to happen? '

The guests of the marriage party clap his hand after the bride and the groom shared a kiss. Xiao Yun watch the kiss and her headache once again, another piece of memory when she kissed Li Lei on their wedding party surge.

She held her head and held back her grunts, ' This time, it's a memory of when I married Li Lei?' 

Since she realizes her memory loss, Xiao Yun keeps on getting pieces of memory about the past two years. Choosing wedding rings, visiting Li Lei's parents grave and now the time when she kisses Li Lei for the first time. 

Xiao Yun became sure of her memory loss, but she still couldn't remember how she lost her memories and how no one knew about her memory loss. 

The MC of the marriage party took his microphone and with a bright smile, he proceeds to the next event. "  Well now after the blessing message from the family, we will proceed to our next event! Everyone, please gather to the center of the hall"

Following the MC's request, everyone gathers in the middle of the hall. A soft, romantic song from the piano filled the hall. The MC continues, " It's time for dance! "

Crowd cheer along the MC and not soon, people had already danced together in pairs. Xiao Yun looks around her in confusion, not knowing what to do. The crowds get even more immersed in their own dancing. Xiao Yun walks a few steps back in a hurry when suddenly her back bumps to something sturdy. 

Xiao Yun turns her head toward the back and apologizes in hurry, " I-I'm sorr-" Before she could finish her words, a familiar soft gaze locked unto her. 

Someone bump to Xiao Yun and made her stumbles once again, snapping her back from her daze. Unable to steady herself, Xiao Yun nearly fall toward the floor. In a flash, Li Lei raises his hand and held her waist, saving her from the fall. 

The woman who bumped into her looked rather annoyed and criticized Xiao Yun for standing blankly. " Move and dance! Look you have a partner already! Move away!  "

Xiao Yun dumbfoundedly stares at the woman before she took another look at Li Lei. 

Li Lei look down toward Xiao Yun softly he asks her. " Would you mind to dance with me? "

Xiao Yun could see the hesitation in Li Lei's eyes as he asks her for a dance. Without a second thought, she agreed with a nod. 

The flaunting high tone of the piano sounded even more mellows. Li Lei lead the dance with a slow tempo, slowly adjusting to Xiao Yun's feet movement. Li Lei's left hand envelops her waist and Xiao Yun's right-hand rests on Li Lei's shoulder. The small contact between the two grew wider as they dance. 

Although it was supposed to be their first time to dance together, Xiao Yun's body felt as if it was accustomed to dancing with Li Lei. Xiao Yun, ' It doesn't feel like the first time we ever dance together...Perhaps, have I also forgot the first time we danced together? ' Her lips quiver, thinking that she possibly forgot all those beautiful memories that she made with him, made her heartaches.

Even though there are lots of people in the hall, everything surrounding them felt like nothing other than background. It felt as if there were only two of them in the whole world. 

Gazes they send at each other clearly shows their love and regret. A soft, calming heart thump beats along with the melody. Xiao Yun's chaotic heartfelt calmer whenever she looks at Li Lei's face, likewise, Li Lei's frozen heartfelt melts as he grew closer to her. 

As if they were drunk with their own love, their face steadily grew closer to each other. Xiao Yun could feel Li Lei's breath brushing against her cheeks. Li Lei's red lips approach hers, Xiao Yun closes her eyes, waiting for his lips touching hers. 

When their lips were about to touch, the wedding's MC took his microphone, " Thank you, everyone, for participating! As for now our next even is cutting the wedding cake! " 

Li Lei's eyes froze, the distance of their lips was only a thin paper apart. Xiao Yun also opened her eyes and blankly gaze at Li Lei's black eyes. 

' Only a bit more...Just a few more' Their eyes tremble along with the small wish they pray in their heart. 

Li Lei clenches his hand, after a few seconds, he retracts back what he was about to do, and walk away. 

Xiao Yun clenches the pendant ring on her neck. ' I don't want this. I don't want to let you go. I...I...Wang Li Lei, there's still a lot of things I want to tell you . '

A woman voice whisper through her ears. " Then what are you waiting for? He is mine-No, Yu Xiao Yun, he is ours" 

As if someone lightly pushes her forward, Xiao Yun understood the identity of that woman who always appears in her dream and whispers next to her ears.

-It was no other than herself, the past her that disappear along with the dear memories. 

She bits her lips, took a deep breath and follows Li Lei's shadowy figure desperately.
