Chapter 83 - 80: Agonizing-1

Xiao Yun stares at the garden from the window blankly. Suddenly a footstep brought her back from her back from her reverie. She glared toward the the source of the footstep with contempt and threw the tea cups from her table toward Yeon Jun, while shouting on top of her voice, " GET OUT!"

Nevertheless, Yeon Jun walk toward her, stepping to the sharp shards without care. Seeing his odd behavior, Yeon Jun threw everything around her to him in fear.

Yeon Jun evade everything she threw smoothly and as soon as he arrived in front of her, Yeon Jun held her hand and stopped her hand. 

In fear, Xiao Yun raises his hand to his face, but before she could Yeon Jun catch her other hand and hold both of her hand softly. 

Xiao Yun, " What else do you need from me?! "

Yeon Jun gazes at Xiao Yun's pale hand and answered her with a smile, " Wang Li Lei, he came back to Korea."

Hearing Yeon Jun mentioning Wang Li Lei's name, her hands trembles uncontrollably.

Yeon Jun could feel the trembling hand of Xiao Yun and raises her hand toward his cheeks, saying, " You don't have to worry I would not do anything to hurt you...But I heard he had been searching for you-"

Xiao Yun cuts his words, " Get straight to the point!" 

Yeon Jun lips curls horrifyingly, he moves forward and whisper next to Xiao Yun's ears, saying,  " I don't want anything else... But as you promised, you have to make him walk away from you...You do understand what I mean, right?"

Xiao Yun knead her palm into a fist and clench it tightly until blood drips down from her knuckle, she answers, " I-I do."

Satisfied by Xiao Yun's answers, Yeon Jun's face lights up with happiness. " Okay! Good girl, then this night, you have to meet him and tell this to him ' I had never loved you, not even once. From now on, let's walk on our own path and never cross again.' Alright? "

Xiao Yun bits her lips and nod with tears running down her eyes. Praying to her heart, ' Li Lei, please...Please be safe!'

Sun switches to the moon, the bright sky turn gloom and sorrowful. Sitting at a luxurious restaurant that Yeon Jun had reserved; Xiao Yun waited for Li Lei with a dark expression along with Yeon Jun by her side.

Not long after they arrived, a familiar figure in black suit walk up to them. Wang Li Lei bright eyes gradually loses its brightness with the glum expression Xiao Yun wore and Yeon Jun who was sitting by her side while caressing her hand affectionately.

Li Lei sat down quietly and observe the two without a word. Yeon Jun bemusedly look at Li Lei's dark expression and grin deviously. Yeon Jun tap Xiao Yun's hand softly and point his face toward Li Lei, warning Xiao Yun once again.

Sensing the cold murderous look from Yeon Jun toward Li Lei Xiao Yun glance at Li Lei and smiled to hide her anger, frustration, sorrow, and fear. 

Xiao Yun, " Long time no see Mr. Wang, I heard that you have been searching for me."

Li Lei's brow scrunches from the way Xiao Yun called him, ' Mr. Wang ' as if she was drawing a line between them.

Li Lei, repeated unconsciously, " Mr. Wang?"

Xiao Yun nod with a smile, " Yes, Mr. Wang. I'm happy to hear that you've been trying to find some way to meet me, however I wish to ask you to stop from now on."

Li Lei felt as if someone stabs his heart, " Xiao Yun? "

Sensing the trembling on Li Lei's voice as he called her name, Xiao Yun could feel her tears swelling up. She knew that she couldn't bear to look at him any longer and turn her face toward Yeon Jun, continuing, " Now that we've been divorced, I hope you can find someone else other than me. I- I've also find someone else other than you."

Li Lei, " Someone else? "

Xiao Yun, " Yes, this is him, Choi Yeon Jun, the person that I love now. Please, Mr. Wang let's be on our own paths now."

Li Lei, " Xiao Yun, what are you saying?"

Xiao Yun, " What can you possibly give to me? Do you know where were you when I lost my parents? When my brother was taken into custody? You have never been by my side! Only him...Only he was by my side! "

For the first time, Li Lei expression reflect his anxiousness, " Xiao Yun...Y-You're lying right?"

Xiao Yun put her hand to the back of her necklace and put down the ring pendant in front of him. " Wang Li Lei, I would never tell you any lie. Did you remember what happened after our divorce? I went to Korea and met him, that time I fell for him.Under that Maple tree, for once I did love him. And I said, even before our divorce, Mr. Wang, please let me go. " 

She stood from her chair and took her purse in a hurry, she couldn't hold back her tears any longer and wished to quickly disappear from Li Lei's face- She was afraid to hurt Li Lei's heart even more than this.

However, Yeon Jun didn't move and block her paths from leaving the table. Xiao Yun glared at him with ' What do you need anymore?! ' expression.

Yeon Jun smiled reminding her of what she needs to say. The clenching on Xiao Yun knuckles dig even deeper, she took a deep breath and glance sideways toward Li Lei, saying, " Mr. Wang I-I had never loved you, not even once. From now on, let's walk on our own path and never cross again. " 

Once she finishes, a pleased smile colored Yeon Jun's face, he stood up and escort Xiao Yun outside to their car.

Leaving Wang Li Lei, with his dark expression. The breathe Li Lei tried to hold on with the tears and anger felt even more painful as time passes. He could feel the excruciating pain from his lugs, or perhaps it was his heart?

-For the first time in his life, tears drops down from Li Lei's eyes to the golden ring on his left hand.
