Chapter 86 - 83: Death-1

Xiao Yun grunt in anger, her loud screaming sound inaudible as it was blocked by the cold door. She became even more fl.u.s.tered and want to run away from the bas.e.m.e.nt, but no matter how much she tried, her legs that was bounded by a metal chain. 

Just by imagining the frightening scene of Yeon Jun murdering Li Lei, her fingers dig deeper to the shackle on her legs, blood starts to spill from her fingers. When suddenly, The door once again opened.

Thinking that it was probably Yeon Jun, Xiao Yun starts to shout again, " Choi Yeon Jun! You could kill me, but don-"

However, instead of Yeon Jun, a young man with a pained expression went inside the bas.e.m.e.nt- It was no one other than Yeon Jun's younger brother, Choi Kang So!

Xiao Yun who had been locked inside he dark bas.e.m.e.nt for 7 days, with Yeon Jun who constantly threaten her until she was about to lose her own sanity could only see Kang So as another person who had also been by Yeon Jun's side enjoying them self as Xiao Yun play according to their plan.

Choi Kang So quietly walk towards her, Xiao Yun jolt back suspiciously. Xiao Yun didn't expected Kang So to be the one who apologizes, but she didn't have much time to think about anything, the only thing passes through her mind, was- that she needed to quickly stop Yeon Jun from whatever he was about to do! 

Xiao Yun open the shackle from her ankle and went up to Kang So. She raises her hand toward So's face, thinking that she was about to slap him, Kang So shut his eyes, expecting for a harsh slap. But after a moment,  a soft touch on his shoulder opened his eyes.

Xiao Yun shook her head towards him, " K-Kang So, let's go and stop him."

Tears that he had been holding back drops down. The happy memory that passes like yesterday, Xiao Yun's smile and the first time he had ever seen Yeon Jun's heartfelt laughs- he thought everything would stay the way it is. But who knew the warm days that he experience was only an illusion? Who knew that those days were made by his own brother by sacrificing everything from a kind girl that he also adore?

Without a moment to waste, Choi Kang So wipes his tears roughly and lead her outside of the residence, saying, " Let's go"

Meanwhile, Wang Li Lei stood with a dark expression, in front of him Jang Hyun knelt down. Hyun took the gun from his waist, seeing this Li Lei's bodyguards point their gun towards Hyun suspiciously. 

Li Lei ordered them coldly, " Stop"

The bodyguards lowers their gun hesitantly, some even still points their gun toward Hyun. Hearing Wang Li Lei said ' Stop ' Hyun's heart pained even more. He lay down his gun in front of him and bowed down even deeper to the ground, saying. " Master, for the betrayal I did please kill me."

Li Lei didn't move and instead stare at Hyun expressionlessly. After a few moment of silence, Li Lei took the gun from the ground and gave a cold sideways glance toward Hyun.

Hyun look up toward him, seeing at the gun that was pointed straight toward his head, Hyun closes his eyes, ' Perhaps, this is the end for me. ' 

' Thump ' 

Instead of the loud gunshot that was supposed to echo from the gun, a loud thump vibrated in front of him. Hyun open his eyes in confusion, what appeared before his eyes, was the gun laying down on the ground.

His eyes widened and before he could finish processing what just happened, Wang Li Lei cold voice appeared next to his ears.

Li Lei, " You once saved my life, think of this as your repayment. From now on- never betray me again."

Hyun grits his teeth, after betraying his master, leading him to lose Xiao Yun, his beloved in the hand of a monster and the death of Xiao Yun's parents. Hyun couldn't bear the guilt swallowing him and confessed everything to Li Lei. 

He was prepared for death and thought perhaps death was better than living with those guilt. But even after what he did, Li Lei didn't blame him and instead forgive him and still keep him by his side.

Nothing could come out from Hyun's lips he could only bow down deeply to Li Lei.  

When suddenly-  Li Lei's phone vibrated, he glance at the caller's name and his brows knit unconsciously, ' Xiao Yun? '

Quickly, he answered the call without thinking. However, instead of Xiao Yun's honey like voice a cold low tone voice laughs as he speaks, " Mr. Wang? "

Li Lei voice usual voice lost its composure and angrily cut Yeon Jun's words, " Where is she? "

Yeon Jun's voice also turned cold, " I heard, you've been searching for her? What? Did Mr. Yu Xing Fu said something about Xiao Yun?- Something like, Xiao Yun disappeared without a trace and Choi Yeon Jun put him to the jail? Or perhaps from your loyal dog? Li Lei grip nearly crush his phone in anger, " Give her back! "
