For a week straight, Eli would wake up with fresh patches of hickeys and bite marks all over his body. Every time he moved a little, he would end up nudging the spot behind him that had been brutally treated overnight.
Today was no different.
“Ugh…”
Damn it, that guy’s thing is still inside!
He tried getting out of bed, but an arm was still wrapping around his waist. The second Eli moved, the grip on his waist would tighten.
“Don’t go.” There was a hint of begging in Daiya’s tone.
He had not fully woken up yet so that sounded like something he said unconsciously in his sleep.
Eli peeled off Daiya’s arm around his waist and slowly shifted away from him on the bed. Just as he was about to get up and go wash up in the bathroom, he was pulled back to bed, snuggly into Daiya’s arms from behind.
Daiya rubbed his head against the nape of his neck and pouted, “Don’t gooo.”
Eli’s back was pressed closely against Daiya’s warm chest. As a vampire, he had excellent hearing that allowed him to hear Daiya’s overly violent heartbeat.
He turned around to cup Daiya’s face, giving him a long and deep good morning kiss.
Eli immediately felt a part of Daiya harden against him. Startled, he fled from his arms, away from this vicious world who had tormented him all night.
“No more! I’m not doing it anymore! I’m going to take a shower!”
They had already been at it for a few nights. Wasn’t that enough?! Even if he missed Daiya, whom he hasn’t seen in a long time, his old back couldn’t possibly take this anymore!
Daiya also sat up from the bed. He swept Eli into his arms and carried him off the bed, heading towards the bathroom, “I’ll carry you there.”
Although Eli wanted to walk by himself, the physical exhaustion he felt didn’t allow him to do so. He had no choice but to let Daiya carry him to the bathroom.
As they got into the bathtub, Daiya sat behind Eli to massage his shoulders, causing Eli to moan a few times out of comfort.
“There…yeah, here. Harder.”
But as the massage went on, Eli was again hugged tightly by Daiya from behind. They were so close that Eli could feel the frequency of Daiya’s chest rise and fall.
“Eli, I want it.”
Eli refused him coldly, “Next time.”
“Eli…” Daiya called out to him in a tone that sounded extremely pitiful.
Eli threw a splash of water at Daiya’s face. He was clearly the one who got bullied all night yesterday, but why did it feel like he was the one bullying Daiya instead?
“Daiya, you’re a grown up now. You need to learn some restraint.”
Daiya’s tone dropped an octave, sounding sad, “They treated me badly and always bullied me. Every time I had my rut, they ignored my intentions and pushed female wolves into my room many times against my will.”
Eli stiffened a little.
“But I threw them all out each time. I loved only you. I only want you. I’ve always wanted to come back to you.”
Daiya continued, upset, “I spent my heat all by myself in the past few years. It was only because I saw you that I couldn’t resist anymore.”
The words he uttered made Eli silent for a while. After his little wolf pup left that year, he truly did not know what happened to him. With that, his heart softened and he turned around to face him.
Gently yet all consuming, he kissed Daiya with an infinite amount of heartache for him.
He really regretted not protecting his wolf pup properly then too.

If one were to answer what the two most hostile forces in the world are – it would’ve been vampires and werewolves.
The two clans looked at each other with utter disdain and disgust, hoping that the other would disappear from this world forever.
The vampires and werewolves had been at war for centuries now, constantly fighting each other for new territories. They were two existences that would never coexist.
But in recent years, due to the heavy casualties caused by their previous struggles, the two clans have decided to sign a five-year no-aggression pact and settled for a temporary truce.
However, even with the truce, the vampire clan would still never allow a single werewolf to appear on their territory. Not even a single werewolf hair too.
The clan head had ordered: if any werewolves were to be spotted on their territory, they will be killed with no room for negotiation.
Yet, Eli had secretly raised a wolf in his manor. For fifteen years too.
The first time Eli saw Daiya, he was still a young wolf pup who has yet to take human form. Who knows which gap he slipped through to get into the manor but he was hiding in a bush in the back garden, shivering nonstop.
Eli found him by the smell of blood.
Back then, it was the norm for vampires to kill all werewolves upon sight and never to show mercy.
But Eli was different. He lived in his manor in the suburbs. It was an extremely remote place so he had been isolated from society for a really long time.
Eli never cared about the strife between the vampires and the werewolves too. So naturally, he didn’t loathe the werewolves like other vampires did.
Moreover, he was a total furry freak! He raised all kinds of furry animals in his manor. Big ones like lions and tigers, small ones like dogs and rabbits…
After raising that many animals, it shouldn’t be difficult to rescue a little wolf pup, right? And so, he took him back to his manor. Yet Eli never thought he would raise him for fifteen years straight.
Fifteen years was just a snap of the fingers for the vampire clan who was immortal. Yet in the same time, Eli witnessed the process of a young wolf pup growing up. Not only that, he was even the one to guide his transformation.
Eli knew that this wolf pup was different from his other pets. He was from the werewolf clan and would transform into a human when he became of age.
Although he could have easily not allowed the little wolf to ever transform, let it remain in that form forever and pose less threat to him, Eli did not use his spiritual powers to suppress it.
