Chapter 182 Panic

Name:Hollywood Zenith Author:
When people noticed the horrible scream, children were frightened and yelled, which intensified the panic.

Adults came rushing toward them to notice the man burning up, rolling on the grass, but nothing worked; the flames stuck to him like moth sticks to the fire.

After a few moments, when his voice died down, only one child's voice could be heard. It was Hannah who was begging for help.

" PLEASE, SOMEONE! HELP ME!"

Abigail and Steve woke up from their stupor, and simultaneously they began to receive news about the security breach. It was reported that gunfire was heard in the distance, and they were closing in to find the culprit.

Finding who the target was was meaningless because they could see Samuel lying down on Hannah's arm. She was shaking him to wake him, but there was no response.

" There is something wrong. We must hurry." Both of them rushed toward the fields. Jane and others' also followed behind them.

As soon as they reached Samuel, Abigail noticed the small pool of blood soaking Samuel's shirt.

" What happened here?" She gasped as it was her first time seeing this much of it.

" I-i d-don't know-w. B-brother came out of nowhere, and c-collapse suddenly. P-please." Hannah's hands were stained with blood, and he excessively cried while pleading.

" JANE, DRAC, CHIN. Clear the way to the entrance!"

" ZE, I want the car in the front fast. I will carry the boss. Everyone understands!"

"""Yes"""

Unlike Abigail, Steve knew what must have happened. There was no time to waste; he could feel Samuel's heavy breathing; if they didn't do something, Samuel would definitely die. The entry point was also in a dangerous position.

He hurriedly made his way toward the entrance while carrying Samuel. Abigail was left behind, but he didn't care; he had only one goal: his boss's safety!

" Ze, I don't care how but you have to reach the hospital in the shortest amount of time. Meanwhile, I will try to stabilize the boss." Steve while he was pressing the wound. With his military training, he was well-versed in gunshot wounds.

Ze didn't reply and cranked the gas pedal to the maximum. He knew it was a big responsibility, but the boss's life counted on it. Now it was a race against time.

Jane and others were left behind to stabilize the public. Everyone saw the bloody Samuel while Steve carried him toward the entrance, but they were more worried about the person who burned to death.

They were also barred from leaving as tens of bodyguards blocked the entrance. Discerning people knew that something big must have happened for them to react like this.

At the heart of England lies the country's tallest building; a massive infrastructure symbolized wealth behind the people who owned it.

The top floor of that building was Robert's office. He had lunch with his wife.

Both of them owned companies that worked together, and they often had such meals to spend time together.

While they were in the middle of the meal, Paul hastily entered the chamber. When Robert looked at his secretary's pale face, he knew something was wrong.

" Sir, Something terrible happened, Young master..."

" What is it? What happened to my son?" Laura asked first.

" Young master was shot earlier. He is in surgery." It was challenging for Paul to bring such bad news.

" What?" Robert smacked the table with both of his hands.

" They don't know if he will make it. The damage was severe."

Robert almost collapsed, but Laura supported her husband. It was not the time to be weak if someone touched their son, and she would pay them tenfold for it.

They hurriedly left for the hospital because his parents had to be there for him.

It was like any other day inside the Rothschild estate; Kenneth and other elders were sitting around discussing their favorite 'topic,' the youngest in the family.

Samuel was someone who would always surprise them; it was like every other day, he would do something crazy or out of the norm, but that was what made him unique.

Arthur was serving some refreshment when some came and whispered a few words in his ears. He saw that the person was scared and wanted him to help deliver the news.

" Master," Arthur said with a heavy heart.

" Young master is in trouble. We must head toward the Royal Berkshire hospital." He didn't specify anything, but the look in his eyes told everything.

" Prepare the car!" Kenneth ordered as everyone headed toward the entrance.

" Sir, you didn't tell them anything." The novice butler asked Arthur.

" Don't worry about it. They shouldn't know everything."

" But Sir-"

" Don't concern yourself with it. Tell master David to meet us at the entrance."

Arthur knew nothing good would come by giving them extra stress; it would be worse if they also collapsed along with Samuel. He only prayed that worse didn't happen, or else Rothschild would raze everything to the ground looking for people behind it.

" That might happen now that they touched the young master." He sighed, thinking about the future.

Everyone who got the news began to arrive at the hospital. Hannah, her family, the Rothschild family, Abigail and his family, Oscar, and Samuel's team.

Laura also informed her mother about it. As soon as Eleanor got the news, she hopped on the plane straight to London. Even with the fastest flight, it would take her six to seven hours to arrive.

With so many influential people inside his hospital, Michael Wilkins, the Dean who treated Samuel's eyes, was perplexed. He was the first to get the news as soon as Samuel arrived in the hospital. When he heard about Samuel's identity from Steve, he had put his best men.

It was fortunate that Samuel was still breathing; usually, people would get an anaphylactic shock, which causes the person's blood pressure to drop suddenly and the airways narrow, blocking breathing. But nothing could be said about his condition as he had already had a massive blood loss.

It also helped that they already had his medical record when they first examined him. Thus, he put his people to work; they had to save Samuel at all costs!

Now everything depended on luck. Everyone waited with bated breath while praying for his survival.
