" Bastard!" Seeing their companion fall one by one and their guns not working mysteriously, everyone decided to rush him. They believed they could take him on with numbers, but Boy, they were wrong.

Everything Samuel clicked his tongue and pointed at his 'targets,' they fell. Fortunately, no one died, but now only the leader was left dumbfounded as he watched his underling fall one by one.
No one saw who did it, but the onlookers also started questioning whether it was a magic spell.
" You, what have you done? Do you know who we are affiliated with? They will definitely make you pay!" The boss was entirely out of it. Maybe he was scared, but he began speaking his mother tongue.
" Spanish, huh? Probably the ringleader is from some Latin American gang." Samuel thought. He didn't need to investigate it too much because his team could hone in on them.
" Are you finished?" Samuel asked.
"...." He was surprised as Samuel spoke Mexican fluently.
" Ok. Sleep!" It was over.
" Steve!"
" Yes, young master" few people walked out, and with that, the jig was up; they were the ones who were shooting on Samuel's command.
"Look into it. And investigate it properly; I don't want these guys to be in this territory."
" As you wish."
The cops came, but Samuel left it to Steve and Jane to handle it. By now, they knew how Samuel ran things; it was good that they didn't use lethal force. It was a valid self-defense with enough pressure and evidence; these guys would be behind bars soon.
" T-thank you." Rosaline was already blushing. Her freckled face was red, but her pale blue eyes were fixed on Samuel's charming face. Usually, she was very confident for some reason; she was flustered facing Samuel.
" No worries, I did it because you are cute!" Samuel patted her head lightly.
" Shit! This goddamn cuteness! My hands moved without me realizing." Samuel felt a little awkward, but he was composed on the outside.
" C-cute" Before she could recover or ask any more questions, Samuel began moving.
" Umm, Please wait a minute." She grabbed his shirt from behind to make him stop.
" Ah, Is something wrong?"
" You haven't told me your name. I am Rosaline, by the way." She was composed; as the older person, she couldn't be embarrassed in front of him.
" I am Samuel, and this is my friend Darren. Sorry, but we really need to get going." It was almost five, and the sun would begin to set in a couple of hours; he had to buy many things in that timeframe. Now that he thinks about it instructing his people would have been better.
Rosaline didn't have the heart to stop them, too; they already had the worst first impression by questioning Samuel. It would be like rubbing salt in the wound if she pestered him anymore.
"Come on, man, Didn't you say you wanted to buy sunglasses? Now that the misunderstanding is over, we could go in, right?" Darren was still hopeful, not knowing he had lost the game.
" Forget it. We already made a mess. It's better if we head straight to the market." Samuel paused before continuing.
"Besides, I don't think she is interested in you."
" Impossible! Is there anymore more handsome than me?"
" You don't believe me look!" Samuel waved casually toward Rosaline, who was still staring at them. She awkwardly copied Samuel and waved back. She was not a teenager anymore, but this made her feel like she was in a youth drama or something.
" See? I am sorry." Samuel apologized even though it was not his fault.
" That's great! It's even better! We have to go back now!" Somehow instead of being depressed, Darren was ecstatic. Shouldn't he be throwing tantrums like usual? Samuel was suspicious.
" Did you hit your head or something?"
" What? No, I just thought it would be better if you had someone so that you would stay away from my mother! That is my goal in life!"
" That was just a prank, man. I already have a lot on my plate. Look, those bastards broke every glass. Fuck! My Sparky is ruined!" They reached the parking space and inspected the damage to Samuel's Spyker.
" Don't change the subject! I know you already have five or six girlfriends, but what's the harm in adding a dozen more? If you gotta make a harem, it must be big, right?"
" Right, why not hundreds? Or thousands. Are you listening to yourself? How many times I tell you I am single?"
" Hehe, that sounds good. You are already setting records, so why not go all out this time too?"
" Good, then I would ask Aunt Audrey when she is getting the divorce. I agree; I have to think big."
" Fuck you!"
" Brat! come back to the store. I will pick something nice as a gift for your help this time." Suddenly Rick popped out from behind.
" Shit! This crazy old man is still here?" Samuel was thinking, but Darren replied for him.
" Yeah. We were also thinking about it. Let's go, Sami. Didn't you say we are late?" Samuel sighed; he had to wait for Steve too. It was better to pick something up now.
...
...
...
"What the hell are these?" Darren was perplexed, looking at the store's collection.
" Brat! these are our best pieces; look here, this is our best seller. I can guarantee their durability." Rick was annoyed by his reaction. As an old man, naturally, his taste leaned more toward productivity than class.
" These are all trash-I mean so ordinary. Don't you have Chopard, Dolce, Shiels Emerald, Cartier...etc.? It would be big news if someone finds him walking around with one of these." Darren first listed some luxury brands Rick and his family had only heard about. Was he secretly dissing our store?
" Che, they are overpriced garbage! These are the real deal!" Rick exclaimed.
" Old man, I know now why you don't have a single customer. You are a fucking scammer!"
" What did you say, brat!?"
While Darren and Rick were having a heated discussion. Allie took Samuel to the side and helped him shop for the perfect piece.
" Here, chilled water. You must be thirsty." Rosaline brought some refreshments.
" Thank you." He took the cold glass and took a sip. The awkwardness that was between them earlier was almost gone. She went behind the counter and picked the one that might look better on him.
" Here, try this on. By the way, Can I ask why someone like you visiting this place?" Allie asked. She was unfamiliar with the Rothschild family name but had heard a few tidbits about them. Usually, people like them never even have a chance to meet such an individual in their lifetime.
" I was here to buy supplies like toys and groceries for the nearby orphanage."
" Is that so? Are you familiar with this place?" Allie asked further.
" Not at all. It's not like I've never been here; I typically leave it to others."
" Then why not let my daughter accompany you. She grew up here; I am sure you would finish your trip faster with her help!" She was excited. It was evident she was playing the matchmaker.
" I don't want to impose further. It will also take a while because I have many things to buy."
" It's fine. It's not like we have customers to tend to; she is a good girl. I am sure you would get along with her."
" Mom!"
" She is also good with numbers and her figure-"
" Mom, that's enough." Rosaline covered her mouth before she could embarrass her further. This had never happened before; her mother was usually very wary of strange customers.
" Alright. I will take you up on that offer." Samuel said after careful consideration. Having someone who could guide them would be very helpful for saving some time.
" Splendid."
