Chapter 357 Troubled Liliana-1

" Welcome back, young master."

" Boss, you are finally here." Both of them greeted him with a slight bow.

" What are you guys doing here?"

" We... master sent us here to help you with current predicament." Arthur informed.

" Steve too? I thought you were on some mission?" Samuel turned toward him and asked.

" This is the mission. We were informed you were having some problem here. The rest of the team went ahead to investigate."

" I didn't need any help. It's only a routine visit to the station."

" I am afraid there is a much larger issue. We still don't know who is causing it but it's better to be prepared."

They stared at each other for a few seconds. Samuel had suspected his parents would probably know about it by now but sending these two here? There was definitely something fishy going on here.

" Alright, but it have to wait. I am heading out to meet Liliana, we can talk in the evening or tomorrow." Samuel didn't change his plans; meeting her was more important right now.

" We will accompany you. Steve, please." Arthur said. He would not let him go alone; it was too risky.

" You don't have to."

" We insist, I can also get your parents on the phone too if that's what you like?" Arthur knew him better than anyone.

" Alright, old man no need to threaten me. I just thought it would be too boring for you guys."

" We will be glad right?"

" Right, right."

It was decided then, soon a sleek modified Lincoln was on its way toward the highway of LA with Samuel sitting in the back and Arthur and Steve in the front.

" Young master, I presumed you meet the Princess of Sweden on your trip? You don't know how surprised Master was when he got the formal call from the King." Arthur chuckled.

It might shock the Rothschild family a few years ago, but now they were well aware of his shenanigans.

" That was only a minor trouble, she was in a pinch so I helped out a little. Beside I never knew princesses ate that much!" Sibylla was definitely a glutton in his eyes; how she was not a walking tank was beyond him. She should be round as a ball!

" Minor? I see. Well, I heard it all turned out good in the end." Arthur almost facepalmed. Kidnapping a Princess in broad daylight was minor? He never wanted to know what was a major event for Samuel.

Steve, unaware of his indiscretions, was clueless about the situation.

" What about Miss Paige? We were of the idea she would be joining us at the mansion." Arthur asked again.

" Ah, right, Paige, she was busy so I didn't want to disturb her." It was shameful to admit he was scared out of the hotel. He never wanted to tell others, too; that was a can of worms he didn't want anyone to find out.

Arthur didn't think much of it, and they talked for a while and arrived at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in half an hour.

Steve got out and opened the door when Samuel stopped him.

" I know you want to come inside but I think it's better I meet her alone."

" But-"

" You can check other things; it will not take much time. It's only a small meeting." While trying to shake them off, he heard a few loud noises from the lobby.

As soon as he walked in, he saw the scene, instantly making him angry. He saw Liliana surrounded by a group of men, some of whom were about to raise their hands on her?

Meanwhile, Liliana had a flustered expression; she looked ready but was darting her eyes around, looking at the big crowd watching the scene.

...

...

...

Everything started fifteen minutes before Samuel's arrival. She just hung up the phone and was pleased to know that Samuel was back in the city, She was still sitting inside the cabin waiting for the meeting, but now it was hard to sit still alone.

She decided to go to the hotel lobby downstairs and wait for Samuel; it's been too long since she saw him, and she wanted to surprise him a little by sneaking up on him.

She didn't expect that because of her appearance during the press conference, more and more people would recognize her.

It was mostly longer glares from strangers, but few even tried to initiate a conversation. It would almost always be about something they were trying to explain her relationship with the Rothschild family's heir.

But she would always be polite, and sometime when things went out of hand, she would use necessary force but never in public. It would work most of the time.

While she waited for him, at the same time, a few people were entering the hotel lobby. It was four men and one female who looked like a model who was accompanying one of them. Her facial feature showed that she was not originally from the States.

Glenn Bailey was at the centre and was a relatively famous second generation in the city. It was mostly because of her father's profession, a famous film producer, but her mother was also famous for running her own business, a chain of mildly famous cosmetic stores.

Such a smooth upbringing made it so he didn't have to work a single day in his life. His parents were also very lenient, adding fuel to the fire, making him a vile individual.

Especially his love of women; he was a known playboy around the city but mostly in the inner circles. But even with his family's background, prominent celebrities would not look twice in his direction, so he was with an unknown model, a fledgling trying to establish herself in the industry.

It's not because he was not good-looking; his looks were above average. His reputation was abhorrent, most of his 'girlfriends' would either be abandoned or get cheated on, and in the end, they would be left with nothing. They were dirt in his eyes, a kind of plaything which he often got bored with.

Over time, even emerging actresses would stay away from him. On the other hand, his position was not very high in the inner circles of the second generation. He was most known for his pimping; that's his best work.

Everyone had to care for their reputation; if they got found hanging with such a person, their prestige would go down the drain.

Hence, the three clowns that surround him. Glenn always liked flattery, and what's a better way to get it than to have a few 'dogs' of your own? He would always bring them around and show them a good time to keep them around.

This time too, he brought them with him to the Ritz-Carlton. He would 'enjoy' the model while others spend his money. The girl with him was obviously unaware of his intentions; she was from a small European country and was trying to achieve her American dream.

If she knew what would happen, she would stay far away from this bastard. She was expecting him to put a few good words with his father to gain a small foothold to stand on, but instead, she was about to foolishly get exploited by Glenn.

When they walked into the hotel's lobby, one of his henchmen with a sharp eye spotted Liliana not far in the rest area waiting. As usual, he had to tell his master!

" Young master Glenn, look over there. That's a fine specimen!" He leaned closer to inform him and sneakily pointed in Liliana's direction.

Seeing what was up, Glenn, too, looked in that direction and saw Liliana; his eyes immediately lit up. He knew who she was; he, too, saw the interview and was curious to know about her. No one could blame him, as Liliana and Rosaline looked stunning that night.

Soon, he found out she was only a model who somehow got acquainted with a Rothschild family member. He didn't know all the details, but it was best to stay away from her.

" She is Liliana who recently made headline. I don't know much about her family background but she is only a small time model who got lucky." He curled up his lips, thinking about the type of girl the most powerful family in the world could get.

If not for such a connection, he would try to get her, but he didn't want to offend the power behind her. He was mostly afraid of his father. Lately, his old man was restraining him too much. He couldn't even have fun like he used to back in the day.

But his logic was completely wrong; he thought what he knew didn't include knowing the intimate relationship Liliana had with Samuel. He was not in the inner circle, or he would have heard her attending the formal party at the Rothschild estate.

It was common knowledge for the true elites, which he could not reach.
