Chapter 417 Gathering

Samuel woke up early the following morning to check up on Elise. He extended her sensor and saw the little girl was still sleeping soundly; it had been more than twelve hours since he tucked her in; she must have been exhausted to keep sleeping for this long.

He looked down to see Mayra tightly hugging him from the side. They were still naked, and her soft breast decompressed on his chest while her head was on his chest, which was covered with her long black hair.

Samuel gently pushed her hair aside, revealing her sleeping face; she looked content as she got closer, moving her leg over his torso. The back of her knee was grabbing his dick which was already hard due to morning wood. He was a healthy man in his late teen; it was impossible for him not to be hard every morning.

Samuel lay there thinking about last night, his hands rubbed her smooth back, and he could feel her hot pussy on the side of his thigh. She looked so beautiful in his embrace that he couldn't believe what they did last night.

Samuel thought about it for a while, but when he saw her wedding ringer on the hand that was caressing his chest, he felt conflicted. She was a married woman, and it felt wrong that Samuel took advantage of her while drunk. Although he knew she was not entirely out of her mind, alcohol hindered her from thinking straight.

On the other hand, he was sober; he must have stopped her advances and broken things off before they escalated. He felt terrible for her husband and promised himself that he would talk things through with Mayra and inform him about it.

If she was not happy in her marriage, Samuel could support her through tough times and be there for her in her need. With these gloomy thoughts in his mind, he got up and headed to the bathroom to freshen up.

He had to meet Darren and Emma for the evening interview, after which he would have a few days before going to the concert with them. Darren still hadn't given him full detail about what sort of band it was; he would need to prepare and contact a few people if they wanted to meet them personally.

When he went downstairs, someone was already there; Samuel feared it might be her husband, but it was an old lady cleaning the apartment. She was wearing simple clothes, so he could guess she was a maid or something. He had plenty of those in the Rothschild estate.

" Good morning." Samuel said as he entered the living room.

" Waah... w-who are you?" The woman was distraught after finding a strange man in the house. Samuel looked extra suspicious, borrowing Mayra's tight clothes.

" Wait, calm down. I am Mayra's friend, I stayed the night because of some circumstances."

" Friend?" The woman looked at him for a few seconds. She was still suspicious as she had never seen a man in the house!

" Yeah, I am Samuel." He introduced himself.

" Little Sami?" The woman surprisingly knew the nickname Mayra had given him.

" Yes, how do you know?"

" Well, she had been mentioning your name quite frequently over the years. I didn't know you were a real person." She got a little closer and began inspecting Samuel. The more she looked at him, the more satisfied she felt.

" I-is that so?" It was his first time hearing about it. If she heard about it, Mayra's husband had to know about him too.

" Where is she by the way?"

" She is still sleeping." Samuel pointed upstairs.I think you should take a look at

" Hmm? In that room? but her room-"

" We drank a little last night and she passed out so we happened to sleep together. hahaha" Samuel played it cool, but the woman again became suspicious.

" I should check up on her. She likes to drink Chamomile tea, I should bring it to her." She started heading toward the kitchen.

" I already prepared some fluids for her! You don't have to worry about it!" Samuel immediately stopped her. It would be disastrous if she saw Mayra naked on his bed.

" Are you sure?"

" Yes, yes. We should let her sleep a little more." Samuel immediately replied.

The woman was suspicious, but she left to cook breakfast, and Samuel finally sighed in relief. He was sure the woman didn't find his answers satisfactory, but he could do nothing about it. He ran upstairs again to see if she was awake or not that's when his phone started ringing.

" Ummm.." Mayra was annoyed hearing the ringtone, so Samuel left the room and picked up the phone.

" Good morning young master, did you sleep well?" It was Arthur who called him.

" What? Are you spying on me?" Samuel looked around; he thought Arthur was referring to his nightly activities, but it was all in his mind. Arthur was only concerned because he learned Samuel didn't spend the night at the hotel.

" I wouldn't dare. I was calling to check in on you." Arthur was clueless why Samuel responded in such a way.

" I am fine. But Good morning? It must be night there. Are you already here?" Samuel asked suspiciously.

" No, we are still dealing with some issues here. Do you like to hear the report?" Arthur was hesitant because Samuel practically left them there and flew to Paris without telling them. He knew Samuel was disappointed with how they kept him in the dark for many days.

Samuel was silent for a few seconds, he was furious, but he also knew they didn't mean any harm to him. Instead, they were worried about him and did what they did.

" Yes. Give a brief summary." Samuel decided it was not the time to keep being angry with them. When they eventually met, he would give out some punishment, but he had to be held in the loop for the time being.

Arthur proceeded to tell him everything that had happened, and the more Samuel heard about it, the more shocked he felt. This unknown third party was so elusive that it protected such a large operation under Zero's nose.

Samuel knew there were no certainties in this world, but he also knew how far-reaching the AXA guild he created was. With just under a decade of operations, they had their finger in all the pies worldwide, making him even more suspicious of how this unknown enemy operated!

He had to be on the lookout for this strange organization because he was sure it would not be the last time he would run into them!
