Chapter 469 Bad News-2



After the blast, the smoke filled the small courtyard in an instant. Small children that were running around also saw the sudden fog and started freaking out. Some started screaming while others were rooted on the spot with fear and teary eyes.

Mayra, Mi Sun and Elise, who were on the spot which was closest to the blast, felt the shockwave. Fortunately, it didn't harm them much, but children were shocked, and some of them also fell down, scraping their knees and elbows.

Ningning and Soo-jin, who were on the other side, were also surprised; they never felt anything like this before, so they just hugged the kids they were holding in their arms and lay down on the floor.

Michella and Yoona, who were talking in the inside area, were also subject to another blast, so they were also incapacitated on the floor along with staff, who were horrified by the sudden explosion. There was no training for these types of things, so their reactions matched that of other children beside them.

If not for Merikh and Huxley's plan to leave minimum presence, it could have been live rounds or simply a highly poisonous gas if the target was not set for a kidnapping. It's not like they cared for normal people; what they desired was the perfect result!

Due to them hastily putting together this mission, they also had to keep it simple, knowing they were under a time constraint. What they went for was an artificially manufactured sleep gas that was engineered to be ten times more efficient than anything available on the market.

Immediately after the explosion, Mi Sun grabbed Elise into her arm and hurried toward helping Mayra, who was in a dazz due to the sudden hit.

" W-what's happening?" Mayra was very shocked, but Mi Sun jerked her body, which made her regain some of her sanity.

" We don't have time! Let's get inside and lock the doors!" She was shaking, too, but it was no time for her to panic. She had some experience in these pressure environments due to her childhood experience. It was related to her father, but she didn't have time to explain things to Mayra right now; she knew the time was of the essence.

Similar things were happening around them; the fog was getting thicker, but those who could fight back tried their best to carry others inside the orphanage. The safety of the children was their top priority!

Suddenly, Mi Sun was hurled to the ground with strong force. She almost dropped Elise, but she course-corrected and landed on her back to shield Elise from having any injury. Several people started coming out from the thick fog and started doing the same to others.

" Who are you?" Mayra, who was beside her, asked. She was still standing because she barely avoided the blow; she often trained with Mayra, obviously not on her level, but she picked up a few things by watching her.

Four men, in complete black attire and wearing sophisticated gas masks, surrounded them, not saying anything, seemingly waiting for something to happen. One of them was tapping on his headpiece, listening to something that all Mi Sun and Mayra could make out.

" Shit!" Mi Sun exclaimed suddenly. She began to feel the effect of the gas. She tried to block her mouth with her hand, but it was too late; she was starting to lose consciousness.

Mayra also started to feel it, and she fell to her knees, gasping for air. It was different from the other chemical gases; the more one inhaled, the faster one would lose control. However, if one held their breath, it would also affect their respiratory system; it was quite an ingenious drug that Huxley provided.

" Give me the girl." One of them said with a sombre voice. They were ordered not to hurt Mi Sun and others for the time being.

" N-no.." Mi Sun held Elise tighter in her embrace. Elise was already passed out; a little girl couldn't know what to do in such a situation. Besides, due to their small bodies, it was easier for the drug to take effect, as most of them were already down.

The man came forward and started wrestling her off of Mi Sun, who refused to give in. After struggling for a few seconds, she started losing consciousness but was forcing herself to be awake by biting a portion of her lower lip, which was already bleeding due to excessive force.

" Bitch!" Seeing her not budging, he smacked her head with enough force to knock her out. Mi Sun's last memory was lying on the ground, barely able to see the man taking Elise away from her. She could only see their back when they were leaving, not being able to do anything. She only heard a loud bang, and everything faded to black.

Meanwhile, Samuel was still lying on the sofa and was being treated as a guinea pig by Kayla. It's been a few hours, and she already mastered several hand-and-mouth techniques. Most of them were copied from Mayra, who was already an expert in 'deep' oral techniques.

" Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked as she stood up. First, she was on her knees, but when it began hurting, she moved onto the sofa and lazily sucked him off a few times.

" Did good? You were moaning like a little kid!" She didn't like his half-assed praise. It's not like she was expecting something, but she could tell there was definitely something wrong with him this morning. Normally, it didn't take much to get him going; hell, he almost turned into an animal during their sessions, but he wasn't showing any eagerness this time.

" I must do something else!" She completely mistook him and wanted to proceed further. She was resolute to drain him today just through the 'original' method. She was about to climb up his body when he suddenly stood up. It was so fast that she couldn't even react.

" W-what? I was about to ride-" She was about to say something when Samuel put a finger over her mouth to stop her from speaking further.

" We will stop here. Get dress, I think something happened." He said with a serious look. She had never seen him like this, so she simply followed his order. She left up to clean herself while Samuel scrambled for clothes to wear and moved toward the front gate.

Right on time, someone rang the doorbell, but he already knew who it was before even opening it.
