Everyone around the world was busy celebrating the usher of new era, 2010s. People were hopeful for a better future right after experiencing the subprime mortgage crisis. Different companies were starting to recover. Few that lost the race were gobbled up by others, especially major banks that kept Alastair busy this past year.

Samuel still didn't hear from him but at the same time he knew these things take time.

But he was underestimating Alastair's capabilities. He already organized relevant information and launched aggressive M&A with numerous parties, true to his name as the 'Devil' of the financial industry.

Currently he was enjoying a week long vacation with a well known model that he happen to met during his travel in the states. It was his usual gig, if not business it was beauties around the world. He had no intention of settling down!

In London, Abigail was having a warm breakfast with her family and friends. Leonard had been playing with their daughter simultaneously talking to his in-laws. Their condition improved tremendously ever since their daughter-in-law joined the Achilles firm.

There had never been bad blood between them, Abigail parents were apprehensive when she first started dating a normal baker. She was practically supported the whole family through her banking job at HSBC but situation around to shift when their newborn daughter with a fatal disease.

Many distant and close relative gave up on her after she was framed and fired from her job. Only her parents her. She would feel especially guilty seeing her husband who only enjoyed baking put countless hours trying to raise capital for the surgery.

They were willing so far as to sell all their possession if it meant saving their daughter. The aloof and handsome husband tire himself out day after day, ache her heart. Their acquaintance regularly criticized him for being an orphan and not even having money to support her wife and daughter in troubled times.

She never considered him as someone inferior to her even when she was earning exponentially higher than him. But seeing him take everything with a smile on his face was something she couldn't do anything about. If not for Samuel's miraculous intervention, she didn't know if her small little family could be together like this.

He was worried how people would perceive his family especially when they were practically country bumpkin that came here solely because Ze paid one of his contacts to go through all the procedures of travel.

Even while leaving the airport, people would look at three of them. Their tribe had tradition of tattooing their bodies along with several other exotic features which was starkly different from 'civilized' people.

His wife and child kept looking the tall buildings and the view of the airport which was marvel to look at. Their small little city which couldn't even compare to these concrete jungles! He was worrying but that's when he noticed a twenty man team waiting for him at the exit.

They were neatly dressed in suits, Ze even recognized few of them. They were fellow ghost soldiers that he often hanged around with. It was a surprise seeing them here. Unlike what he expected, his family was welcomed with extreme respect which garnered a lot of onlookers.

Some even wondered if it was the rumoured royal family that were often involved in scams only this time, they seemed to be legit. Ze only later found out, it was arranged by Samuel. The soldiers requested for it and he had no reason to refuse.

His family didn't understand much but seeing these foreigner handling their rug sack and bowing politely made them realize her husband position in this clan musn't be low!

At the same time, Drac took Syiara around the city. He did have to keep his promise for her helping them back in Bolivia. They talked about their future and enjoyed each other company without getting to the main issue. Drac didn't have heart to ask her out, they always had on and off relationship but they would dismissed it as 'extracurricular' activity to relieve stress.

Even now they acted like a married couple sharing old stories but never named their little interactions. They both had same answer in their heart but refuse to budge because of their ego. It was clear that even this time it wouldn't chance unless one party was willing to make concession!

It was yet to see if this unexpected romance would bloom into anything serious. Nonetheless, currently they were like peas in a pod!
