78 < Chapter 16. I, to You (2) >

The time Callian and Silica faced.

Earl Evan Brissen glances around with fierce eyes.

A drop of blood fell from my fist.

One night.

He couldn't get out of his bedroom overnight.

Yesterday, Evan found out about Silica's betrayal after working with Allen in the palace. Evan returned to the mansion, feeling very sensitive.

As I spent the day managing my anger so closely, Le Maine sent me to the mansion.

It was Caera, the Kingsguard.

'I can't believe you sent Kaerra.'

In fact, Evan didn't feel too good even when he heard that the knights in the palace were visiting. It was because it was not others, but Kaerra. It was only when they met someone else for Remain that someone had a very close relationship with the safety of the king.

So Le Maine sent Kaerra to find Arsen, which is what she thought was connected to Le Maine's well-being. It also meant that Balkans, which had not yet been officially founded, were regarded as important.

'Clearly it's a show visit.'

In other words, Le Maine sent Kaerra's knights to investigate Evans' house to spread the word about the purpose of the army Balkans were built for.

He was not pleased with Kaerra's visit because he knew he had been used for such a planned movement.

But the problem did not end there.

"I've been ordered to search the mansion."

A knight in front of Evan.

Ren Adrian, the Knight Leader of Caera, said:

But Len didn't even tell me who he was.

I didn't even show him an example of Evan.

Evan gives an angry voice because he knows when Ren will look like this.

"You. How dare you treat me as a sinner knowing who I am."

Ren gave a short answer when he dealt with the criminals who had suffered heavy damage to Le Maine so much that Kaerra had to make a move on her own.

"The King's Order."

It wasn't just Ren who created this atmosphere.

All the other knights were fully armed, and their faces were stiff as one.

Then Evan realizes his expectations are completely off the charts.

Kaerra's visit was not a 'show expression'.

I thought I'd come and ask him a few questions. It wasn't like that.

Soon, Ren gestures at the knights.

I didn't even ask Evan for his permission.

Following Ren's actions, the knights begin to move as one.

They must have come for a wizard named Arsen Hertz, but the knights searched the entire mansion as if they were looking for a small coin, not a man.

Eventually, more impatient Evan bursts into Noho.

"You said I hid the wizard here!"

Seeing Evan so angry, Ren did not waver. Instead, he only responded briefly with an indifferent voice.

"Please go into your room and wait."

With that, two of the knights standing behind Ren come forward. Then he takes Evan to the bedroom. Evan had to be patient to pick up his sword and not cut them down.

What was interesting was that Evan was the first person to think about that situation, not Le Maine, but Silica.

Because Silica is working with Grey.

Because he got caught up in the weird rumors.

Because Silica betrayed him.

He thought he was in a position to be treated like this by the Knights of Caera and not be able to wield a sword once.

"I will never forget this day, Silike."

Evan mutters and grits his teeth.

The search was not until the next day.

Evan's mansion was huge and Kaerra's search was more thorough than I could have imagined.

One good thing for Evan is that Lennon's whereabouts were not discovered. The basement entrance that you hid well with a special device was undiscovered.

"We've confirmed that everything is fine. Rest."

Ren turns away, leaving a short note like this.

What was left of Evan after the knights left was a broken mansion and anger.

* * *

The very moment Evan was angry.

Alan opens his mouth, looking out the window with a fat face.

"Is this really the right thing for me?"

Then he glanced at the red-blooded eyes and yawned for a long time. He replied, looking for the glasses Remain with his tongue on his desk for a moment because of Allen's increasingly arrogant attitude.

"You sound full."

As he said that, he began to pick up one document and read it, following Allen's turn toward Remain.

"I doubt it because I have no intention of coming."

"Lord Adrian is a meticulous man."

Alan is waiting for Ren, the knight-in-chief of Caera.

To be more precise, Ren is waiting for him to come quickly and return home.

"Shouldn't you be worried about not being meticulous?"

The previous afternoon, Alan, who was working calmly in his office, felt the knights escorting him halfway around his office. I was surprised and went to Remain's office. Remain with a calm face said:

"Since you sent Kaerra away, I'll ask her to stay behind me until she gets here."

After continuing to hand over his work to the man who came for his son's education, he now asks Remain to escort him from time to time.

"Are you the one who broke the baron's house this time?"

"I explained because I was searching."

"You did. But that's not the number of people who want to destroy someone's house, it's the number of people who want to search it."

"A search for the meaning of warnings. I'm worried about friction. If it breaks down a bit, there's nothing we can do about it."

Alan laughs.

"I didn't know you knew how to be angry with someone."

"Now you know."

Of course, Len didn't know it, but Arsen was still hanging around Alan's house. On the outside, however, Arsen was missing, so Remain was initially only willing to pretend to find Arsen.

Then, just before Kaerra left, he changed his mind and sent so many people to scour the Marquis's house. It was a fury, according to Alan.

Le Maine was angry for one reason.

It was because of the legend that Alan and Evan gave and received during the day.

"You're the commander of the Balkans, no matter how temporary. After ignoring you like that, I thought it wouldn't be bad for you to tell me what kind of army Balkans are. That's why I raised the bar on" Search. ""

Of course, I would never have been able to send a warning to Evan as an excuse, but things are different now. So Alan thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to let Le Maine know that Le Maine was different from before.

"Huh? Okay. Since the king is willing to take my revenge, I'll stay here until the knights return."

Alan sits on Remain's couch and waits for Ren, without another word.

An hour or two later, the night finally passed.

Ren doesn't come back until morning.

Just when I was worried that Sloane wasn't coming through Evan's foundation.

- Knock knock.

It was only then that Ren returned.

I didn't know what I was looking for all night, but Ren came in rather tired and reported to Remain.

"Sir Hertz has not been found. I'm sorry."

And then he brought out a piece of paper with something written on it.

"And I found a man trapped in the basement of the mansion. It's presumed to be Lennon Brycen."

This meticulous knight commander opened the entrance to the secret passageway to confirm Lennon's confinement and put him back in his original state. So I was about to uncover Lennon's location without Evan knowing it.

I don't know if it will work, but it was an unexpected income. That's why Remain sent Ren away after saying he did a good job.

"You said you were impersonated in Libern."

It was about burying Alan's title while he was in Libern. It's a rather unexpected question, but Alan nods and answers without thinking much.

"Wherever I go, I'm Grand Wizard Alan Manasil, but I'm also a baron in Cecretia and a bird in Libern."

He was not so tied up in a country that he tried to hold Alan in his place wherever he went.

I didn't really care much about the title, he added, smiling.

"Still, I love Prince Cairys III's teacher, Alan Manasil."

That said, Le Maine smiled and picked up the document she was looking at a while ago.

"You know what I like about that mouth."

"You can't do anything with a good mouth."

With that answer, Alan now rises to his feet to return. Le Maine, who glanced over the document, looked back at the document and said.

"Then in Cairys, we have Alan Manasil, the Master and Earl of the Three Princes."

Evan didn't know what he was picking on Alan in the first place. That's why I'm taking Alan's place.

"· · · · · · What kind of weekday morning weather you bring up."

Alan smiles softly and says,

* * *

Queen Aisha was not a soldier.

Does Randall know?

That silica was involved in Aisha's death.

Callian, who was thinking about that, concluded that Randall wouldn't know.

The memory of Bern reminds me that even after Randall became King of Tensyl, Cairis and Tensyl were not particularly bad.

'Course. Randall would have come to my room before Plants knew it.'

Knowing the facts, we couldn't just wait for Calian to expel Silica.

So maybe we should let Randall know.

Or should I just leave it?

Calian smiles briefly and looks at Silica, which creates a new concern. And Silica was already trying to get through to Callian.

So the two spent a moment keeping their gaze on each other.

When the second hand of the watch spun around twice, silica opened her mouth.

"I think you misunderstood something again."

That reminds me of a dark joke in Calian's mouth. He laughed at Silica.

"Misunderstanding."

The muttering Kalian bursts into laughter.

If I could see the look on Callian's face a moment ago, I would never have misunderstood it.

Callian was convinced she was the cause of death, and Silike knew she wouldn't believe him either.

Nevertheless, he misunderstood and laughed.

Kalian laughs for a long time and stares at Silica with his eyes wide open.

"Your unpleasant illusion that I would have only teamed up with grey briensen. That's what we call a misunderstanding."

Callian knocks on the table and says,

"I don't need it. People like you."

At that point, Silica's face was whiter than the hand holding the letter a moment ago. It was because I did not expect to hear half words and abuse from the prince.

Whether Silica was shocked or not, Calian said again with a sad face.

"But given the atmosphere when I came here, I guess I didn't need you for the Brissen Change Bag I didn't need."

"Kalyan. Don't talk nonsense. You're out of your mind."

"I'm not as out as you are. How do I keep my mother in her mouth? You can't do that without losing your mind."

Calian turns his head as he sees the strength entering Silica's hands while still sitting still. Calian looks around the empty greenhouse and opens his mouth to Silica.

"Don't refill the greenhouse. You won't be here long."

Kalian rises from his seat.

Looking down at silica with a cold face, he left behind one last note that would leave only the name of Kalian in Silica's head.

"I, to you. I'll show you the end."
