107 < Chapter 21. Behind the Abyss (4) >

Earl Evan Brissen leaves with a reasonable amount of time.

Soon someone walked up to Plants and told him something, and he saw the annoying look on his face. What difference does it make to me that I'm going to prepare for the imperial battle?

Alan throws his head, watching him quietly.

"Perhaps I'm the only one who didn't know that your life depended on tomorrow."

"What are you talking about?"

"Prince Randall or Earl Brissen's footprints will turn the country upside down. This is why I believe we are on our way to war, not to the throne of the Crown Prince."

The young king who was ahead opened his eyes like this, but he didn't care.

"Are you not impressed that you weren't there for a day or two?"

"That's right for now. Big, big, big!"

After seeing Alan Manasil's mouth open for a long time, Slayman's smile bursts.

"Are you sure you want to keep Prince Randall and Evan at bay?"

"Will you be able to take care of that in the meantime? Just get over it."

How comfortable would it be for Remain to be able to raise Calian's hand unconditionally and to see him like that? Alan couldn't stay calm because a beautiful disciple was struggling all by himself in the middle. Slayman, who knows it, is working hard to support one hand.

"Please, those mouths."

Of course, if I had my mouth shut, it wouldn't open like I was waiting for this.

"I'll just take my chances while we bring in the big, gentle ones." It won't take long. "

"Glad to hear it. Clean it up and come to my territory. You're good at guarding one thing, so I'll hide it for you!"

I'm so glad this is the ballroom.

If it weren't for the music of the musicians and the words of the people, there would be nothing here but swallowing.

Remain frowns slightly and replies.

"Okay, come on."

Since the Grand Wizard and the sorcerer are doing this from both sides, only a perfectly ordinary human sitting in the middle rots. No one would have any idea how horrifying the tale had just come to pass in the gathering of the three great pillars who stood behind Cairys.

Thankfully, Slayman stepped up and changed the subject to see if Remain was really embarrassed.

"I heard you got caught trying to get First Prince to settle down."

Oh, I see.

I think we should just talk about it.

This relentless question to Allan wraps Le Maine around her forehead once again. Alan nods and replies indifferently.

"I got caught in the hands of my beautiful pupil. All right, all right."

"Then you really have a good disciple once. In the meantime, why don't you take another look at this? No matter how fast your disciple's hands are, they just let go and swing their swords!"

Slay is the only one who talks that far. He opens his eyes and asks.

"Is the First Prince really alive? It would have been hard for your disciple to get caught."

"Mind you, my disciple has been so careless. Don't worry. You're alive and well."

Callian hasn't told Alan what Randall had killed by drying the rose. It's because Kalian himself needed some clarification of thought. If he knew that, he would never have said, 'Don't worry, Randall is alive.'

Anyway, the two jokes that had no idea about it finally stood up and Le Maine couldn't stand it any longer.

"Remain, are you leaving already?"

"Rest well."

Then Allan smiles as if to say goodbye to Slayman's insipid words. Eventually, Remain sighs deeply and returns to the Arfia Palace.

That leaves Slayman and Alan, the first four seats.

A little while ago, Slayman smiled as if it was nothing rough in the world and drank a glass of wine in a very quiet manner. Then I opened my mouth as if I suddenly remembered.

"There are only three things in the world that scare me the most."

"There's a lot of fear in a man who becomes the second sword on the continent."

Slayman looks back at you and says, "What's so scary?"

"To our esteemed and beloved Sherry, and to our doggy Jan."

She was Slyman's wife.

And the doggy yarn is the real doggy yarn of the ducal palace. No matter how much he resembles my son, how to give his name to a dog. It's really just Slay.

"I don't have any shoes left because of him."

Anyway, the second time that brown poodle in Siegfried territory was scary, the sodmaster looked at Alan and said,

"And the third one is your mouth."

Alan bursts into laughter.

"Yes. My tongue is acknowledged by my beautiful prince."

They were about 10 years old, but they were quite similar in age. It's been over 20 years since Alan reached seven circles and decided to drop everything and just be friends.

Slay, who said all three scary things, pauses and opens his mouth.

"But then there was one more."

Slayman looks away at Calian's back, as he says.

"That's scary. My prince is no ordinary man."

"I'm not kidding. I've never seen anything like it. It still creeps me out."

Only Slay sweeps the scar off his neck.

"I really almost died that day."

"I understand I have a very good disciple."

Slayman. Dead or alive.

Alan smiles with a joyful smile, just like this.

After Evan, Demirea opens her mouth as she walks out to Plants.

"I'm sure you've acted as a shield this far."

"I had nothing better to do."

Kalian once again thanked me.

Then Demirea lets out a sigh and opens her mouth, turning her head toward Khalian.

"The first prince should be quiet, too."

Kalian gives you a low laugh.

Demirea was also a Siegfried, so there's no reason to hide what happened yesterday. Because of this, Kalian has already told me what happened to Randall yesterday.

"It won't be long, but you won't see anyone from the outside right now. If you were going to kill me right away, you would have touched me yesterday, but you didn't, and that's okay for now."

"We'll be bumping into each other again soon enough."

"Whatever else is behind that abyss, I can't lose."

Callian replies, "Don't worry."

Then he opened his mouth with a soft smile that was completely contrasted with sharp eyes.

"I'm not very pleasant."

It was a very confident and curious answer.

Demirea laughs as she hears it.

"I heard you cried."

Oh, you little elephant!

Calian pauses for a moment and tries to lie with a very awkward face.

"I didn't cry."

"I heard your eyes turned red."

"Red originally."

Demirea's face shows a little brother hiding candy behind his back. The Siegfried people seem to be saying everything with their faces.

Anyway, the misconception that Randall was crying scared was taken away, so he replied as if he had given up.

"I just had a dream."

Demirea looks at Kalian for a moment. Jan wouldn't be the only one whose nightmare Callian could cry about.

Demirea occasionally opens her mouth with a smile that resembles what Jan looks like.

"What a good dream you had."

How good a dream it was to wake up crying, not to cry. So I asked.

Calian laughs for a while and gives you a solitary answer.

"It's a dream I'll never have again."

After still coming out of the noisy Siegfried Coffin, Calian sent all of them to Jando Kiri and moved alone.

Now that Plants has given me some time to think about something else for a while, I'm on my way to stop being stuffy.

I'm finally going to meet Chase.

Calian's footing moves steadily all the way to the entrance of the Rubia Coffin.

'I'll come back tomorrow.'

It's a little late for that.

I mean, we can't even talk and drink all night like we used to. Do you think it's okay to just walk up to them like this? I had all kinds of thoughts.

So I thought I'd just go back to Chermill and come back. Then I felt like I wouldn't be able to walk again, so I forcefully moved. A dark blue cloak shakes as you follow in Calian's steps.

- Ella.

I suddenly remembered the blue sole bird, whether it was because of the cloak that repeatedly disappeared every step of the way.

After everything you've been through with Eila, you decided to abandon Bern and live as a perfect Khalian. So it's no different this time.

Let's not forget that he's just another person with memories of Bern, not the same brother. So you can just smile and talk and come over.

I was constantly thinking about it.

I didn't notice the wind.

Chase has been watching Callian for a long, long time.

"Kalyan."

Chase watches his hesitant steps and calls Khalian to his feet first.

Chase stands under a large spruce tree planted in front of a Rubia coffin. Standing in the shadow of that big tree, Khalian sees nothing but Chase's feet.

Calian's feet stop again.

I heard his voice, and I saw where he was, and I couldn't rest my feet.

A long time ago, when Bern said he was going to be a knight.

Tailan, who was trying to break Bern's stubbornness, once told me to run through the Training Ground all night. Now, Kalian's leg is as heavy as the day he finally convinced Tailan to hold on to it.

- Peppermint

Callian takes his foot off the ground like that and continues to stick it back to the ground several times. Then, I wanted to stand in my place all night long, and I held on tight to both my fists and moved back to where Chase was.

- Peppermint

Don't be foolish. Bern is completely forgotten in this world. Can't you just put it all down and go to Cecretia? I filled my head with words like that.

My name is Callian now.

I know.

I know.

"· · · · · · · Why."

Calian's eyes falter as he approaches Chase.

Kalian shakes his head.

Oh, this.

It's treason.

This is outrageous.

Chase smiles.

"Hair, why · · · · · · · · · · · · ·."

He was smiling with his long head cut off.

The memory buried deep in my heart opened up.

I remember when I protected Bern from Noho Castle in Devlan. I remembered the smile I was building waiting for Bern to hit me with some difficult problems. When I first got on the horse and fell, I remembered the voice that soothed me with Bern. As I knighted Bern, I remembered the painful look on his face.

The day they all died.

I went outside to block the gate and remembered the face of Bern crying.

To Chase.

I remembered Bern, who said he would go.

The weight of the thought is so great that Kalian can't stand it.

For the first and last time, it collapsed for just one day.

"· · · · · · · · Brother."

For the first and last time.

I wept in Chase's arms, telling him to rest a little.

I'm so sorry I couldn't make it.

I cried so horribly, as if I were a 15-year-old child.

Brother.

Brother.
