Chapter 148: Little Goblin

"Hiii!!!" The goblin screamed as he felt his life being threatened by the numerous eyes which were looking at him.

Of course, those goblins already took on their fighting poses and were just waiting for the order to come out.

After all, even though they didn't know it beforehand, they could feel that it was a goblin.

And a goblin, whether outside of the village or not, is the king's subordinate.

There is no difference between the goblins as long as the king is alive.

That is the absolute truth for the goblins.

However, it seems that was not as the goblin who just entered this place had a scared look for his life.

No, it was not the scared look, but a determined look! It was hard to see, but one could see the fire being lit inside the little goblin's black eyes!

It was so hot that even Dawn could feel it!

---Oho. This seems like...Didi.

Dawn thought as he looked at the goblin with an amused face. This was something he didn't expect, but it's not like he wouldn't welcome it.

After all, if a goblin appeared here, there is only one possibility where the goblin came from.

"Hey, are you from the goblin tribes?" Dawn said as he looked at the goblin.

However, it seems that the goblin didn't have any ability to speak as it just looked like a normal goblin.

"Grrr!!" The goblin growled as he backed down a little.

After all, even though he was a normal goblin, he could tell that the goblin who just talked was dozen times more powerful than him.

However, it's not like that would cause the little goblin's spirit to just go away.

In fact, the fire in the goblin's eyes just burned even brighter as he growled once more!

"GrrrrAaAaaaaA!!" The goblin opened its mouth wide as it growled.

He intended to scare the other goblins here with that, but of course, this mysterious little goblin just looked cute to the others.

"King, what shall we do? It seems like he's not from here." Didi said as he turned his body at Dawn.

He wanted to know what they would do with this little goblin. Although the goblin was weak, it could be considered a threat.

After all, as long as it is alive and it is not from them, any goblin is considered a threat.

Well, it was just because it would be considered a threat if Dawn deems it to be so.

That was why Didi wanted to get Dawn's word about what will they do with this goblin.

Would they kill him? Or would they keep him? Or what? As long as Dawn gives his word, anything is possible.

Of course, Dawn knew that, but he wasn't answering.

He was currently thinking about this situation. After all, Moris said that the goblin tribes were wiped out.

What's more, Dawn could see Didi in this little goblin in that...he wanted revenge!

The mysterious goblin wanted revenge against something, and the look that he has right now...he gave the look that he would do anything to achieve it!

At least, that's how the little goblin looked to Dawn!

And it was obvious who the little goblin's targets were. It was the mysterious humans that Moris described earlier.

After all, they would be the only one that could possibly incur something like revenge.

Besides, it was more than confirmed that the goblin was probably from the goblin tribes.

And when Dawn's thoughts ended up on that conclusion...he spoke.

No, he tried to speak, but the little goblin beat him to it!

"G-gra...arg yough goblinssSSS?" The little goblin said as he breathed in and out.

It seems that the little goblin was indeed out of breath, but he looked like he didn't care about that as he continued speaking.

"T-t-t...takhe mehh with u!" The little goblin said as he looked at the goblin who probably has the most power in here.

He looked at the goblin who looked like he was the one in charge of the other goblins.

He looked at the goblin...who was the king!

And as if it were all a miracle...the goblin continued speaking, but it wasn't as rough as before!

"I...I will get stronger and be of use to you!"

"That's why...That's why take me with you!"

The little goblin said as the fires in his eyes burned even fiercer than before.

The whole place was dark, but his black eyes were shining so bright that it looked like Dawn was looking at the moon.

It was something that Dawn didn't expect to see, but it's not like this was enough for Dawn to just get this goblin.

After all, what would the use of a single goblin be? Although every goblin is important for Dawn, this goblin was arrogant.

He was basically ordering Dawn to take care of him, and he would repay that by being stronger.

Although Dawn appreciated the thought, there is no goblin alive who could possibly tell what Dawn should do!

However, Dawn was amused by this goblin. After all, the normal goblin got the ability to speak.

This little goblin and what happened to him was unknown. However, the fact that the little goblin was able to speak is even more mysterious.

That was why Dawn wanted to know why he could speak. However, it's not like he could do now, and that was why he decided to set it for later.

Dawn then spoke as he finished considering everything.

"If I take you, what would you do for me?"

Dawn then walked towards the little goblin at a steady pace. However, it was clear that he wasn't walking that fast.

"Who do you think you are, ordering me around?"

"If you want me to take you, you should know what the price for that is."

"What would you do for me?"

Dawn said as he arrived right in front of the little goblin.

Surprisingly, the little goblin wasn't even shaking when Dawn arrived right in front of him!

It even looked like the little goblin was trying his hardest to stand up to Dawn!

And that was something unbelievable as even Moris was surprised by it!

Even though Dawn didn't have the king's charm, it should be impossible to look at Dawn's body without getting...charmed.

After all, Dawn's body is perfect! There's no way this goblin, who is just a normal goblin, would be able to hold out!

It was more reasonable for him to get scared and back off a little bit!

'This goblin...is weird.' Moris thought as he looked at the goblin with sharp eyes.

After all, if the goblin was to show even a suspicious movement, Moris would not hesitate to kill him!

However, Moris was forced to stop his thoughts there as Dawn spoke once more.

Dawn spoke once more as he raised his hand and brought it to the little goblin's head.

It was clear that he was stronger than the little goblin, but the little goblin didn't even let out a squeal of pain!

He didn't even react, and his eyes were still burning fiercer than ever! It was as if he wasn't even seeing Dawn in his eyes!

This goblin was that insolent, but that was why Dawn was amused.

---What kind of event could possibly make this goblin so determined?

What kind of event could possibly make this goblin so...passionate and even be able to stand against me?

I want to know! Dawn thought as he brought his eyes near to the little goblin's eyes!

And when they were eye to eye, Dawn spoke once more.

"What will you do for me!? Answer!!!" Dawn said as his blackish eyes turned red!

It was the shade of anger, and that was because Dawn was getting impatient.

He wanted to know the answer now. He wanted to know why this goblin could speak, despite not receiving any blessings from the battlefield.

He wanted to know! And that was why...with the shade of red glowing brighter than ever, Dawn shouted!

"Give me the answer, and I'll consider taking you in!" Dawn said.

And faced with an angry king, the little goblin...started shaking.

Even if his determination was strong, there's just no way he could stand against Dawn.

However, it was the truth that this goblin was indeed not normal!

Why? It was because the little goblin was able to move his lips even against Dawn's immense pressure!

The little goblin said as he looked at Dawn's red eyes calmly.

"I will become your servant!"
