"Interesting." Dawn said with a wide smile on his face.
It was interesting for him to know that there is a strong monster like that roaming around these parts.
Dawn was born in the north, where he became a Baron. Of course, he also knows much about the monsters in there.
That was why he was more comfortable hunting in the north rather than in the east.
However, there was nothing that Dawn could remember related to this...Lion Tiger that his goblins were talking about.
He didn't know anything, and he didn't feel any monster like that when he was still living in the north.
That was why he found this situation interesting.
"Are you sure that I can't beat that Lion Tiger or whatever the name of that monster is?"
Dawn said as he looked at Moris, He also looked at the little goblin as he wanted to know both goblins' opinions about this one.
After all, Dawn wanted to meet that Lion Tiger, and see if he could beat it.
It might actually be the break that Dawn needed. It might actually be the monster Dawn needed to kill so that he could achieve evolution.
Either way, there was no harm in trying to find out more about this Lion Tiger.
And that was why he asked that question.
Of course, Moris knew that which is why he answered right away.
"Yes, I am sure, Your Highness."
"Even the monsters who were grouped here wouldn't be able to take on the Lion Tiger even if they fight together."
Moris said as he bowed his head. After all, he just basically compared Dawn to a Lion Tiger.
Even if Dawn was still weak right now, he was still the king of goblins.
And the King of Goblins is a being that even a Lion Tiger cannot sum up to. That was why comparing Dawn with a Lion Tiger is unbelievably rude.
However, Moris had to do it so that Dawn would be able to understand things better.
Flattering up Dawn at this moment would only serve more harm in the future.
And it seems like Moris' intentions were able to come across as Dawn spoke.
"And since I had to have you hold down some monsters to defeat all the monsters, I'm certainly weaker, huh."
Dawn said as he knew that he wasn't the only one to kill the monsters in here.
He knew that Moris also did his work by pinning some monsters and getting the monsters' attention in the first part of the battle.
Although Dawn massacred them all after that, the fact is that he couldn't do that if the monsters all pounced on him.
Moris played some important role by distracting most of the monsters when the battle started, and Dawn knew that very well.
However, it's not like Dawn would stop here just because he now knew how weak he was compared to the Lion Tiger they were talking about.
Dawn needed and wanted to become stronger. And if the only way to become stronger is to battle stronger opponents, Dawn would do just that.
That was why Dawn spoke. He spoke as he made his decision.
"We'll scout that Lion Tiger, and I will decide if we would hunt it after seeing that cat."
He spoke as he made his decision to look at the cat first. After all, even though Dawn wanted to become stronger, Dawn wouldn't jump straight to his death.
What's more, he also has some other goblins together with him in this journey.
That was why it would be more reasonable to look at the cat first before doing anything.
"Yes, Your Highness."
"Yes, king!"
"Chwee!"
The goblins answered with their own words as they made their resolves within themselves.
After all, this next battle might need them to sacrifice themselves.
They were thinking of ways how they would sacrifice themselves when the king was in danger.
Of course, that would only happen if they started to fight against the Lion Tiger.
"Let's go, you bastards." Dawn said as he started walking towards the place where they entered this underground.
The goblins also followed right after him as they took positions.
And it was only a matter of time until the goblins were able to get out of this place.
****
The goblins were able to get out of the underground, and as soon as they did, they were...surprised to see that the sun has risen once more.
They went inside the underground during the night, but they didn't expect that the next time they come aboveground, the sun has already come out.
Of course, that was just because they were used to the darkness, and didn't think about the time passing.
After all, they were used to the darkness as they were used to the light.
Even Dawn was surprised about the sun rising in the air that he had his eyes wide open right now.
"How long was I fighting those monsters?" Dawn said as he shook his head.
He didn't expect that another day would have been wasted just to make him achieve evolution and become Duke.
What's more, this isn't the start of everything. Dawn would still have to master the Aura and learn Presence.
There were so many things to do that Dawn wanted to have a second body.
However, it was not the time to get mesmerized by the sun.
That was why Dawn spoke once more after shaking his head of those thoughts.
"Do you know where to find that Lion Tiger, Moris? Or even you?" Dawn said as he looked at Moris and then at the little goblin.
Dawn didn't know anything about this Lion Tiger, and it was only these two goblins who knew.
That was why he was counting on them to know about it. After all, there would be no hunt or scouting if they didn't know about the Lion Tiger's location.
It was then that the little goblin spoke faster than Moris. Well, Moris had to think things through before answering Dawn.
The little goblin just had to say what was on his mind, and there would be nothing wrong.
It was one of the perks of being young.
"The Lion Tiger only shows up once there is a moon, and he sometimes takes a nap near the goblin tribes."
"The Lion Tiger doesn't attack the goblin tribes because we give him tributes."
"We give him food, too. However, now that the goblin tribes are gone, I don't know if he would still come back here."
What the little goblin said was the truth. The Lion Tiger was a special monster that appears only once in a blue moon.
It was literally once in a blue moon as it only appears once the moon is out.
That was why, for the little goblin, it would be impossible for Dawn to find the Lion Tiger now.
After all, the sun is rising in the air, and blue has taken control of the sky.
Of course, Dawn listened to the little goblin as he considered things.
---So I guess I would have enough time to rest.
Dawn thought that having enough time to rest would be an advantage to him.
Well, even for Dawn, fighting a lot of monsters, and then fighting a strong monster in the same day is just too much.
That was why Dawn actually wanted to rest for a little while.
And since the situation permits it now, Dawn would happily take the rest being offered to him.
Of course, it would depend on what would Moris say. After all, Moris might say something different, and the goblins might have to check that out.
---Having two goblins who know things really affects things. It's more convenient and so much easier.
Dawn thought as he remembered how easy his life was going ever since he met Moris.
Of course, it wasn't really easy, but it was going smoothly. What's more, he even met the little goblin who had a lot of knowledge around these parts.
Just these two goblins working together to give information to Dawn is a huge boon to the overall hunt.
It was then that Moris spoke as he finished thinking.
"Your Highness, what this goblin said is correct."
"The Lion Tiger indeed only shows up once there is a moon."
"However, I'm not sure about where it stays or something like that."
"That is why...I'm afraid we would have to wait for a night with a moon."
And when Dawn heard that, he found it reasonable. After all, he already found out about it when the little goblin said.
However, there was something that really caught Dawn's attention.
"So, that means...we might have to stay here for two, three, or even a week."
After all, it's not like every night would have the moon peeking out of the sky.
It would be a miracle if there would be a moon out later at night. That would be like the heavens helping Dawn, but Dawn didn't think things would go that easy.
That was why Dawn spoke while shaking his head.
"Hah. I need to waste more time..."
Or not. It depends on whether the moon would come.
And that was something the goblins would know by waiting.
