When Moris was given the order to look at the source of the rumbling, he quickly moved.
He traveled the lands and was able to reach his destination in no time at all.
And the destination was...well, the southeast. Of course, that would be the case.
Anyway, there were 5 goblins stationed here, and those goblins were able to tell that Moris had come here.
And since Moris had come here, there was only one reason for that.
And that would be that it was by the order of the king.
That was why the goblins were getting ready now. Since it was by the order of the king, this place was probably the place where the monsters would first appear.
However, it seems like they didn't have to worry about that as Moris disappeared once more.
Right, Moris disappeared once more as he continued to jump from tree to tree to another tree.
After all, this wasn't the place where Moris could see the monsters planning to attack them.
They were still far away from here, and that was why Moris continued to move.
He continued to move for a long time, and it was only then that he could finally see some traces of the monsters
'I never expected that they were still so far away with the amount of rumbling that they were making.'
Moris thought as he arrived right on top of a branch of a tree.
Right, Moris didn't think that they were still far away. After all, the rumbling that they were causing and making was enough for Dawn to feel it.
Even though Dawn and Oz were at the borderline of the southeast and east, they were still able to feel it.
That means that...
'These guys bought some big guys.'
Moris thought as he looked at the dust that was rising in the air.
The dust was so thick that it wouldn't be weird to mistake it as fog or something like that.
Of course, that fog didn't really matter to Moris as Moris could see through it without any problems]
And what Moris could see was a single kind of monster.
'Dogs? Mutts? Hmm...I don't know what they are.'
Moris thought as he observed the features of the monsters that he was seeing right now.
The monsters that he was looking at right now were something like a dog or a lion.
However, it didn't really have the features of a dog or a lion. That was why Moris didn't know what they were.
But the reason why Moris thought that they were a dog or a lion was that these monsters were running with their four legs.
Right, they were running like a dog or a lion.
Well, four legs were a feature of a dog or a lion, but Moris just didn't think that these guys were a dog or a lion.
And that was why Moris had a guess of what they were.
'Is this what the little goblin was talking about? Hyenas?'
Moris thought as his eyes sharpened.
After all, hyenas were the ones that the little goblin said that almost conquered the southeast of the forest.
And since they were the ones who almost conquered the southeast of the forest, they would be strong.
There might be some chances of Moris being caught or having to fight against them right now.
That was why Moris searched for a strong monster within them...However, those efforts of trying to find a strong monster didn't pay off well.
After all, there was none. Of course, there were some good monsters who could possibly give trouble to the goblins, but it wouldn't be enough for Moris.
'Are they the subordinates of the hyena boss or something?' Moris thought as he looked at the monsters.
Moris was confident that these guys were just the subordinates or the minions of the hyena boss.
After all, they were just too weak. And too weak wouldn't be able to cut it.
Too weak wouldn't be able to conquer most of the southeast of the forest.
That was why Moris knew that these guys weren't the real thing.
They were probably here just to make some disturbance or something like that.
And that was why Moris moved as he tried to feel something around the group of monsters coming to attack them.
He tried to feel if there were some other groups of monsters hidden.
He tried to feel if there would be a real attack coming from a really strong monster.
However, no matter how much Moris tried to do that, he couldn't find out any strong monster or any other monster group.
'Hmmm...did they underestimate us?' Moris thought.
This was the only plausible reason that Moris could think of that could possibly explain this situation.
The boss hyenas or whatever they are called probably made a misjudgment of the situation and underestimated the goblins.
They underestimated the intruders and sent some of their weakest monsters to try and finish the intruders.
Of course, that case was more than reasonable as it would be insane if the boss hyenas were to send these guys knowing that Moris and the others were strong.
Anyway, now that Moris had confirmed that there were no real threats in this...particular group of monsters, he tried to look for anything that could give any trouble.
However, the only thing that could make trouble to them was the hugeness or size of these guys.
More than half of the hyenas that were marching towards Dawn's location were big.
They were so big that they looked like elephants. Of course, these monsters' sizes didn't really matter.
After all, Oz was much bigger than these monsters.
Anyway, when Moris was sure that the only strength that these monsters have is just their sizes, he disappeared once more.
He disappeared as he jumped from tree to tree. And the direction was...back to the home base of the goblins, where Dawn was waiting.
After all, he had to report this situation and what he found out.
Although Moris could definitely kill these monsters all by himself, he didn't want to make the decision.
That was the king's job, and it was only the king that had the right to decide.
That was why Moris was returning back after what he found out in this scouting.
Of course, since the monsters were moving, they were near to the home base of the goblins, as well.
And it wouldn't be long until they clash.
****
When Moris decided to return so that he could report what he saw to his king, he quickly moved.
That was why Moris was now kneeling right in front of the sleeping king.
Well, Dawn wasn't really sleeping as he just had his eyes closed as he listened to Moris' reports.
"Your Highness, there were no strong monsters that could possibly be a threat to us."
"It's more than possible that the bosses or the king of these monsters just sent them out to try and test our strength."
"It's also possible that they just underestimated our strength."
"And if I may add my opinion...I think they just underestimated our strength."
"After all, the monsters that are now near us looked so serious that it wouldn't be weird they actually think that they can win against us."
And when Moris said all those words, he...just shut up.
Well, what would one do once one finished speaking?
Anyway, Dawn began thinking when he heard what Moris said.
After all, this situation was what he was waiting for, but he just didn't expect that he....his goblins got underestimated.
His goblins got looked down on as some petty, weak monsters.
And that was something Dawn didn't want to acknowledge.
After all, it was not the truth.
That was why Dawn was actually quite mad right now. Of course, Dawn controlled himself.
---Hmm...I can also use the monsters that they sent to see if a goblin could evolve.
What Dawn thought of was correct. He could use the monsters that were about to attack them as food for his goblins' evolution.
Of course, even if the goblins evolved now, and Dawn was able to find out that they could still evolve even with the Blessings of the Battlefield knowing that Dawn has doubted him, Dawn still planned to conquer the southeast of the forest.
After all, they were here now. It would be a waste of time and effort if they were just to get out of this place.
However, Dawn also didn't want to let his guard down. After all, the fact that the monster hyenas could send some of their monsters to this place was a sign that they actually hold power.
And since they do, it would be best if they do this more carefully.
That was why Dawn spoke as he raised his body.
"Go, get the other goblins to come here."
Dawn then whipped his head to look at Moris, and the other three goblins standing behind Moris, the little goblin, Didi, and Una.
"We would meet the monsters here and kill them here."
"Go."
And when Dawn's orders were laid down, the three goblins, Didi, Una, and Moris quickly vanished.
