Chapter 183: Variety

When Moris decided to come back to the place where Dawn and the other goblins first battled against the hyenas, the sun was still shining on top of the sky.

Right, Moris left to conquer the fortress near them when the sun was still over the sky, and he conquered it while the sun was still over the sky.

It was quite amazing if you think about how Moris was able to travel, conquer, and decide to come back to their home base of goblins while the sun was still flying over the sky.

However, that was just how strong Moris was. That was why it wasn't really that weird.

Anyway, Moris decided to come back to their home base when the sun was still out.

However, that puzzled look on his face soon disappeared as Moris felt his king.

Right, Moris could feel his king, and he soon disappeared as he...appeared right in front of his king.

Well, Dawn was just sleeping on the ground with his head against Oz's stomach.

It seems that the goblins who were receiving the Blessings of the Battlefield didn't wake up at all, and they were just forced to wait for them here.

After all, if the goblins woke up, they wouldn't be here, and Dawn would have already started his war against the southeast's rulers of the forest.

Anyway, when Moris appeared right in front of his king, he quickly knelt in front of him as he spoke with quite the proud tone.

It seems that he was really proud that he was able to complete the task given to him by his king.

Well, that was only normal as Moris was just another servant of the goblin king.

Anyway, this is what Moris said.

"Your Highness, I have returned." Moris said as he lowered his head.

Of course, Dawn was able to hear what Moris was saying without a problem at all.

Even though Dawn had his eyes closed and was not moving at all, he was awake.

He only looked like he was sleeping as he didn't move at all.

Anyways, when Dawn heard what Moris said, he quickly opened his eyes.

Of course, Dawn knew that Moris was already back way before Moris announced his return.

That was why he wasn't that surprised or shock about it when Moris suddenly spoke right in front of him.

It was then that Dawn spoke as he looked at Moris while laying his head against Oz's stomach.

It seems that this posture was too comfortable for him as he truly looked relaxed.

"How was it? Were the monsters strong enough to pose a threat to the goblins?"

This was the most important question that Dawn had for Moris right now.

After all, Dawn didn't really want the goblins to die even though they were at a war right now.

What's more, these goblins that were with him right now were receiving the Blessings of the Battlefield.

Their value before was already high, but now that they would come out as even more stronger goblins, one could imagine how much Dawn wants them to stay alive even after this war.

Even just a single goblin dying is already a huge loss for Dawn.

That was why this was his most important question for Moris who had a...small skirmish with the enemies.

However, it seems that Dawn didn't have to worry about a thing as Moris spoke and explained his opinions about the enemies.

What Moris was talking about was not the strongest monsters in here or something like that.

He was talking about the general monsters around the southeast of the forest.

After all, it's not like the normal goblins...no, the blessed goblins would be able to fight against the three legendary hyenas.

It was only natural that they would be paired against those meat shield monsters.

However, even though Moris said that the blessed goblins should be able to win against those monsters easily and without any real efforts, he still said that they were dangerous.

This fact was able to pique Dawn's interest as he knew that this was connected to what Moris saw and battled against when he conquered the fortress that the hyena had told them about when they were interrogating him.

That was why Dawn spoke with a rough and husky voice as he just...woke up. Well, not really woke up, but something like that.

"What do you mean by that? They are dangerous?"

"You said that the goblins should be able to win against them without any real problems."

"You're not making any sense right now, Moris."

Dawn said without missing a single beat, and he said all those words while looking up at the night sky.

It seems that the night sky has caught Dawn's attention.

Anyway, what Dawn said was perfectly reasonable.

After all, in one line, Moris said that they should be able to win easily, but in the other line, he said that they are dangerous.

It was not something that should be said at the same time, and that was why Dawn said what he said.

After all, it was the truth that Moris was not making any sense right now.

However, all that doubt about what Moris had to say disappeared when Moris spoke once more, hoping to explain his case.

"Your Highness...I don't know how to explain this to you, but..."

"The monsters in here are not that strong. That is the truth, and the goblins should be able to fight against them and turn out to be the victors."

"Variety."

Moris said, but he wasn't done, yet. He just stopped for a second to try and think about what he would say.

And it was then that Moris spoke once more as he lowered his head again.

"Your Highness, the southeast of the forest has the variety in its monsters."

"The monsters that I have battled against in the fortress had a variety in their races, and in what they could do as an individual."

"There was this one mud monster that was able to gather mud, and there was this one monster who was able to throw trees against me."

"There were so many monsters, but...they were not of the same race."

"That is why I think that they are dangerous."

Moris said as he stated facts after facts after facts. After all, it was the truth that he met those kinds of monsters when he was conquering the fortress near the goblins.

Of course, the last statement of Moris was just an opinion, but that opinion held weight.

After all, it came from Moris, one of the strongest goblins in Dawn's village.

That is why Dawn was seriously considering things, and he was thinking about it.

---Hmmm...so what he means is that...

There might be a monster that could counter a goblin so good that we won't even be able to stand a chance.

Dawn thought as he closed his eyes.

Of course, Dawn understands what Moris meant when he said that they were dangerous.

And that was...there was the possibility of a monster who could counter a goblin existing in the southeast of the forest.

Of course, it was not an impossibility as the chances of such a monster existing in the forest was much higher than it not existing.

After all, the forest was literally the home of the monsters.

That was why it wouldn't be weird if there was a monster who could kill a goblin in just a second.

And what was worse if that monster existed was that...it would not only be the normal goblins who would be threatened but also Dawn, Didi, Una, and Moris.

And since Moris was the one who confirmed that the southeast of the forest had a variety in its native monsters...Dawn had to take this situation seriously.
