Chapter 195: Papi and Mabi

"Tsk. So there's a hole in our encirclement. This is because Rabi went out to that fortress without my permission."

Papi said as he looked at the goblins while standing on top of the monkey.

Papi knew that it would be hard to keep the monsters from fighting each other, and that was why he was out here himself, controlling the monsters.

However, with the absence of the strongest hyena, Rabi, it was truly hard to keep the monsters at bay.

What's more, Rabi just...disappeared and went on to the fortress without even telling Papi.

That was because he wanted a prey for himself, and he knew that the intruder destroying the fortress would be strong since Papi was the one who told him that.

And so, with only the two hyenas controlling the monsters, it was impossible to keep the monsters in tow.

And which is why Papi could tell that there is now a hole in their encirclement.

"They are planning to use the chaos to escape, huh."

Papi murmured as he squinted his eyes. The monsters on the other side were currently fighting each other now, and there were plenty of holes that Papi could see that the goblins could use to escape from this situation.

If the goblins were able to escape even from this situation, it wouldn't be funny.

After all, Papi has been developing this plan ever since he learned of the existence of the intruders.

Right...this trap was created the moment that guard hyena made his report to the three legendary hyenas.

Even though they sent out an advance party to wipe out the intruders, Papi was sure that the advance party of hyenas would just get slaughtered and that the intruders would continue to do what they came here to do.

And the reason why Papi was sure of that was because...it was hard to come here to the southeast of the forest.

There were the Lion Tiger and the goblins to mind, and that was why...Papi was sure that...if intruders were to come to the southeast of the forest, they would have a goal in mind.

That was why Papi was sure that the intruders wouldn't just stop at killing the advance party.

Of course, now that he saw the intruders for himself, he was actually a bit surprised that they...were goblins.

After all, the goblins near them didn't plan to start anything against the three legendary hyenas.

They have been living peacefully and even though there were some squabbles going on, the leaders of both parties didn't really put much attention to it.

However, when Papi saw the white goblin who was currently running from him, Papi could understand that...it was another group of goblins.

And when he understood that, Papi was able to restore his calm and just keep doing the things that he needed to do in this situation.

That was why...Papi spoke as he whipped his head to the side.

"Mabi. Can you do something about that hole that Rabi left behind?"

Papi's voice was small and smooth, but it seems that Mabi was able to hear it clearly as he whipped his head towards Papi with a wide smile on his face.

Of course, although smile was the word, it was not that friendly at all as saliva was dripping out of Mabi's mouth.

And it was in this smile that Mabi spoke.

"You want me to prevent them from using the chaos, right?" Mabi said as he guessed what Papi wanted him to do.

And it seems that he was correct as Papi spoke as he closed his eyes.

"That's right. If we let them escape from this place, I'm afraid we won't be able to catch that white goblin. Remember, goblins are the fastest when it comes to maneuvers in the forest."

"I think that even you won't be able to catch up to that white goblin once he starts running for real."

Papi explained his thoughts to Mabi with a clear voice, and even though all hell was breaking loose around them, as the monsters were getting real rowdy as they chased the goblins, Mabi was able to hear it clear and fine.

Of course, when Mabi heard it, his eyes widened up like a firework as disbelief spread on his face.

"What? You mean...I won't be able to catch up to that white goblin? Are you bullshitting me right now? You know that my forte is running, right? There's no way that a weak ass puny goblin would be able to outrun my legs!"

Mabi said as he tried to defend his honor from the intelligent Papi. 

After all, it was indeed the truth that Mabi would still be able to catch up to any goblin, blessed or not. The white goblin should just be another blessed goblin.

That was how fast Mabi was, and he has every right to be confident about his speed.

However, it seems that Papi was assured of what he just said as he looked at Mabi's eyes and spoke.

"Well, it's the truth that you would be able to catch up to any goblins from their group, but...it would be impossible to catch up to the white goblin if he starts running away from us."

"The reason being is...he's special. I have not seen any white goblin in my long life, and even in our efforts to conquer the southeast of the forest, there have been no sightings of such a goblin.

And if he is special, then it's clear as day that his goblin body would be special, too. Although I am also confident in your speed, nothing would beat a goblin in running in the forest."

Papi said all of those words without missing a single beat as he looked at Mabi straight in the eyes.

Papi's eyes were crystal clear and it seems that he was not lying to Mabi as Mabi could see that in Papi's eyes.

And since Papi was not lying, Mabi...could accept it. After all, he also knew that goblins were just that fast in the forest.

That was why Mabi spoke as he whipped his head back to the front.

"So...what do you want me to do? Do you want me to stop the goblins or that white goblin, specifically?"

Mabi said as he noticed that Papi has been observing the white goblin for a while now.

After all, Papi wouldn't know these things about the white goblin if he hasn't been watching the white goblin from the start that they appeared in this place.

Of course, Mabi could already predict Papi's answer just from that.

He could predict that Papi would tell him to prioritize on the white goblin, and it seems that he was correct as Papi spoke.

"The white goblin. It is my first time seeing him, so I want to learn more about his kind. I don't really care about the other goblins as they are just normal."

"However, it seems that the white goblin cares for the goblins as he is going along with their speed."

"He has not started to run at his full speed, and it is clear as day that he is planning to save at least some of the goblins."

Papi said as he stopped speaking. A moment of silence ensued between the two, but that silence soon broke down as Papi spoke once more.

"If you think about how savage the goblins are, it would make you think that he is really a special goblin, no?"

And when Mabi heard that, he spoke as he nodded his head.

"Yeah. The other goblins, too. They are acting weird as they...are not fighting at all. The goblins would fight to the death even if the situation is bad. It seems that the white goblin really is special."

Mabi has fought against several goblins in the past, and all those goblins chose death rather than to retreat or submit to him.

That was why he knew that the goblins were acting weird as they didn't even try to fight against them.

It was then that Mabi bent his knees as he prepared to take off from the big ape monster that was carrying them.

"Alright, I'll be going then, Papi!" Mabi shouted out loud as he disappeared from the big ape monster!

Of course, he began to run as he looked in front of him. He looked at the goblins, and it seems that he was really fast as he was now...quite far from the big ape monster!

However, that was not enough as he was still far away from the goblins!

He could also see that the goblins were about to escape from here as they...just literally run without minding the other monsters fighting.

"No, you won't!" Mabi shouted out loud as he used his powers to strengthen his legs.

His feet...soon became enshrouded with some kind of light as Mabi...kicked off the ground powerfully.

"I'm coming for you, white goblin!" Mabi shouted out loud as he ran up to the goblins with insane speed.
