Chapter 199: Wait

---Hmmm...

Dawn thought as he waited for his instincts to take over his body.

Dawn thought that it would be worth betting on this strange phenomenon since it already saved his ass twice.

Right, even though he still wasn't sure what this perception slowing down was about, he still thought that it was still worth it to bet on it even though he was surrounded by all kinds of monsters now.

And those monsters were currently flying down the air slowly and surely to bite off Dawn's head and separate it from his body.

---If this perception slow down thingy will be able to help me escape from this situation, I won't have to use Oz to escape.

Right, if Dawn would be able to escape from this situation alone, he wouldn't have to risk revealing his trump card to his enemies this early.

What's more, he would be able to get away from this battle literally unscathed.

Even though there were goblins who died, it wouldn't really matter much.

Now that the goblins and the three legendary hyenas have already met, there was just no way that the goblins would be able to beat the enemies head-on with their puny numbers.

After all, even in this situation, the goblins could only decide to run, and that was all that they could do.

If they could have done something else, Dawn would have already ordered them to do it.

However, since he prioritized running, it was clear as day that there was nothing else that the goblins could use in this situation to turn it around.

That was why Dawn would really want for him to escape on his own so that he wouldn't have to risk revealing his secret trump card.

---Hmm...it's not happening.

Dawn thought as he could feel that a lot of time has passed now. Of course, that was just because his perception was slowed down.

However, compared to the previous ones, this time...his instincts were not taking over to do anything, and it was taking so long.

It was taking so long that the monsters have actually moved for a little bit of space now.

That was why Dawn thought that there was something wrong and that he should just move out from here on his own.

However...when Dawn tried to move on his own in this situation, Dawn could feel that he...couldn't move at all.

---What the...

Dawn thought as confusion set in his mind. After all, it was as if there were locks preventing his body to move from the spot he was standing on, and that was weird.

---Isn't this my ability?

Right...Dawn thought that it was his ability and that he should be able to use it whenever he wanted to.

Since it was his ability, he should be able to use it even if his instincts have not kicked in or something like that.

That was why it was weird for him to feel that he couldn't use this ability when it should be easy for him to do it.

However, it seems that Dawn didn't have the time to think about this as he noticed that the perception around him has...started to return back to normal.

And what made him notice that is...the monsters' roars.

"GAGARARAR."

All kinds of sounds resounded out in this place, and that made Dawn whip his head right in front of him.

And what he saw was...a monster with his mouth wide open right in front of him!

"Shit!" Dawn cursed out loud as he just made his Aura go in his arms, and raised his arms in an effort to guard himself.

After all, he didn't expect that he wouldn't be able to do something nor would his instincts not do anything when his perception slowed down again!

"GARRR!!" The monster roared out loud as his mouth...was biting down on Dawn's right hand.

It seems that Dawn was able to guard himself at the cost of an injury, but...that was not all that Dawn had to mind right now.

"MMMAMAMM!!!" Another type of roar resounded out in Dawn's ears, and this made Dawn whip his head to the side.

However, as before even Dawn could identify what kind of monster made that noise, another type of roar resounded out again.

"MHOOOOO!!" And when Dawn heard this type of roar, he quickly...began to push his Aura towards all directions.

He pushed his Aura in all sorts of directions; towards the air, ground, the monster biting his arm, and the most important is...his body.

Right, he moved his Aura in his arms, legs, body, head...literally every part of his body was enshrouded with Aura.

After all, everywhere...was enemies. He had to make sure that there were no open gaps in his guard or something like that.

And it was with that kind of body that Dawn used force to get out of the hold of the monster that was biting down on his arm.

Dawn used pure force to push the monster away, and he was able to do that as the monster was currently...standing in front of him.

Right, Dawn was not able to make the monster fly away.

Why? It was because of the monsters behind the monster! They were so many that he literally couldn't blow him away.

However, that was not all as that monster...soon got eaten and stomped alive by the other monsters in the vicinity that were trying to get Dawn!

"Shit!" Dawn cursed out loud again as he whipped his head to the right, where he could feel that the next monster was the closest to him.

And when he did, he soon saw a horrifying tree about to attack him with its branches.

However, that was not all as Dawn could now feel another monster about to attack him on his left side.

No...it was not only on his left or right side but also from the bottom and from the top! The monsters or enemies were literally everywhere,  and Dawn knew it from this moment.

He knew that he...wouldn't be able to fend them all off and would soon be forced to fight them with no chances of escaping from this place.

That was how harsh Dawn's current situation was.

However, as if it knew Dawn's current situation, the mark on his stomach soon began to throb like a living being once more.

Of course, Dawn couldn't feel this, but...his perception once more slowed down as if Dawn had control over time.

---What the...it happened again?

Whew. Dawn thought as he thanked the stars for this lucky moment.

After all, he could sense all over his body that the monsters were all about to take a bite from his meat and attack him in some other ways.

Right in front of him, right in front of his two black eyes, Dawn could see a monster with its mouth wide open that he could basically see the insides of the monster.

It was then that Dawn could feel his instincts take over his body once more as his Aura started to go to his feet and hands.

However, that was not all as his Aura...didn't stop at all!

It stacked upon itself, but just once of stacking would already make a Great Force Punch or something like that.

Right now...his Aura was constantly stacking even though it was already a Great Force Punch!

---Fuck, what is it doing?!

Dawn thought as he could feel the effects of stacking so much Aura on his hand.

After all, it was so powerful now that Dawn...was hurting from his own Aura.

It was really weird that he was hurt from his own technique, but that was only natural.

After all, if you attack yourself, you would get hurt. That was the same case in this situation.

However, even though Dawn was already hurting himself with his own Aura, his instincts were not stopping at all.

It was only after Dawn's white hand and body were starting to bleed all over that his instincts finally stopped stacking his Aura on top of his fists.

---Finally! But...

What do I do with this!? Dawn thought as he saw his Aura...tear the air down around him.

No, it was not only the air but also the monsters! Even though Dawn's perception and the flow of the time were still slow, the monsters were distorting and becoming destroyed just from his Aura!

That was why...Dawn knew that he wouldn't be able to control this.

However, it seems that it wouldn't be him to control this as he could feel his instincts take over his body once more.

Well, his instincts were also Dawn, but...it was definitely by not Dawn's will that he was moving right now.

Right, Dawn's body was moving right now as he...aimed both of his fists in the monsters right in front of him.

The monsters in front of him soon died down just by being near the Aura.

That was how strong the stacked Aura was. And it was with that kind of Aura that Dawn attacked the monsters.

He punched the monsters with that crazy amount of Aura.

Boom!! An explosion resounded out as Dawn's Aura collided with its first target.
