When Meng Heng saw a man coming to speak to Shen Yin, he immediately sized up him warily. “Sister, who is this person?”

“Sister?” Lu Chen sneered at Shen Yin. “Why didn’t I know you had a younger brother?”

“It’s none of your business.” Shen Yin rolled her eyes impatiently. One look at this man was enough to destroy her appetite. “Can you please go away? Don’t disturb our meal.”

Shen Yin took it and wiped her mouth. She teased him with a smile, “What makes you think I’m sad? Of course he’s not worth it.”

Meng Heng clearly saw the corner of Shen Yin’s mouth turn down for a moment when she saw that man, but he did not want to discuss other men too much with Shen Yin. He changed the topic and talked about what had happened last night.

Meng Heng and Zheng Ling were relieved when they heard Shen Yin say that she was fine. They did not know what had happened, so they did not dare to ask too much. They were afraid that Shen Yin would not be willing discuss it with them, which was why they were in this state.

Shen Yin knew what they were thinking. After eating, she strolled back to the police station with them in high spirits. By chance, she saw a Maserati parked across the street. Shen Yin’s smile completely vanished.

Shen Yin burst out laughing. It was rare to see such an expression on Lian Jing’s face. She actually thought that he looked rather cute.

She opened the car door and sat in the front passenger seat. She seriously studied his face and said sincerely, “President Lian is extraordinarily handsome.”
