“Then… then why don’t we…” Shen Yin wanted to go back, but when she saw Lian Jing’s gradually dimming gaze, she suddenly lost her ability to speak.

“Shen Yin, do you really feel nothing for me?” Lian Jing lowered his eyes and looked at the shocked woman. He tried his best not to kiss her tender lips. He felt stifled and uncomfortable. Just as he was about to give up, a cold little hand suddenly touched his cheek.

Lian Jing looked up in surprise. The man, who could make his subordinates tremble with a single sentence, submitted to this woman.

The fireworks were over and calmness descended. The gorgeous and colorfully-lit night sky grew dark again. But Shen Yin’s heart was still in turmoil.

After waiting for a long time for Shen Yin’s reply, Lian Jing could not help but turn his head and kiss her palm.

Shen Yin hurriedly drew her hand back, but Lian Jing held it tightly. “Yin Yin, I’m willing to take care of you and Nian Nian for the rest of my life. Tell me, am I good enough?”

The arrogant man humbled himself and held Shen Yin’s hand. There was no lust in his eyes, only deep anticipation.

They did not know who made the first move, but at some point, their lips pressed tightly against each other. They warmed each other in the cool night.

After returning to the hotel room, Shen Yin lowered her head shyly and wanted to return to her room to wash up.

Lian Jing held her hand reluctantly and touched the soft skin on her palm. He pulled her into his arms. In the darkness, his voice was soft and enticing voice, “Sleep with me tonight.”

Shen Yin frantically pushed him away. “Stop fooling around. Nian Nian is here.”

“He’s asleep.” Lian Jing was like a big child with a new toy. He hugged Shen Yin lovingly. “If you go in now, you’ll definitely wake him up.”

Shen Yin did not believe his nonsense. She picked up a towel and covered his face.

Lian Jing was about to speak when he suddenly ended up with a towel on his face. He kissed her as if he was punishing her. “Yin Yin, do you remember our previous experiment?”

Shen Yin frowned as she tried to remember, but she did not know what he was talking about. She thought about it and asked, “What experiment?”

Lian Jing hugged her and gently pinned her between himself and the wall. He lowered his head and gazed at her lips. “The experiment to see whether you hate me.”

Shen Yin suddenly remembered that incident. Just as she was about to say something, all her unnecessary words were blocked by Lian Jing’s lips.

The lingering kiss softened the atmosphere. In the darkness, the air of romance grew. Lian Jing’s kiss was domineering and gentle, leaving red marks on her lips, shoulders, and neck.

The next day, Shen Yin woke up in Lian Jing’s arms. She suddenly remembered what she had done with this man yesterday when her wits were befuddled. She was so frightened that she immediately jumped off the bed and pointed at Lian Jing, who was wide awake. Her face was so red that she could not say a word.

Lian Jing gleefully pulled her back into his arms. “Now you’re shy? Last night, you…”

“Don’t say it!” Shen Yin covered his mouth and ran out of the room as if she was running for her life. She bumped into Shen Nian, who had just woken up.

“Nian Nian, I, I woke up early and went to see if Lian Jing was awake. We’re going back today,” Shen Yin stammered, her face turning redder and redder.

“Morning, Dad, Mom.” Shen Nian acted as if he had not seen which room she had emerged from and greeted the two of them calmly.

Lian Jing smiled and nodded. He put his arm around Shen Yin’s shoulders and pushed her into the bathroom. “Why are you in such a daze? Hurry up and wash up.”

He picked up Shen Yin’s toothbrush, and squeezed the toothpaste for her before putting the brush in her hand. Then he took off his pajamas to take a shower.

Shen Yin stared at him in shock, the toothbrush still in her mouth. “What are you doing?”

“I’m taking a shower.” Lian Jing raised his eyebrows and smiled evilly. “Do you want to join me?”

Shen Yin flung aside her toothbrush and glared at his shameless smile. Then, she turned around and rushed out of the bathroom.

Lian Jing showered very quickly. When he came out, he only had a towel wrapped around his waist. His hair was dripping wet. “Alright, why are you acting so shy? You saw everything last night!”

“Shut up!” Shen Yin glared at him shyly and stole a guilty glance at Shen Nian’s room. Seeing that her son was packing his things in his room and ignoring what was happening in here, she looked away in relief. She ignored the shameless man and entered the bathroom to take a shower.

On the way back to the Lian residence, Shen Yin did not say a word to Lian Jing.

She did not know what she was angry about. They were both consenting adults. However, she just felt uncomfortable and angry when she saw Lian Jing’s smug expression.

As soon as they got home, the three of them went to see Grandpa Lian first. Old Master Lian had lived for decades, and he was very discerning. He could immediately tell that things had changed between Shen Yin and Lian Jing and nodded in relief. “You must be tired. Have a good rest. Everything is fine.”
