Tea Party and Lorschel (18)

“Uh-huh…”

Roelin frowned because she was suddenly being blinded in her sleep. But instead of waking up, she reached out and fumbled around the covers. A fluffy quilt was immediately caught in her hand. She then pulled the blanket and hid her face.

The sun was finally blocked with the blanket, which made her eyes feel more comfortable. She tried to go back to sleep with a satisfied smile.

“……!”

But Roelin suddenly thought of something and hurriedly popped her head out of the blanket.

The bright sunlight poured down Roelin’s face as if it was welcoming her.

“……Is it morning already?”

She was dazzled before she shaded herself with one hand and murmured at the window. Actually, it was already too late to call it morning.

Roelin opened her eyes wide after roughly measuring the time based on the direction of the sun.

Oh, my God.

It was already time for the sun to rise in the sky.

“Crazy. Why didn’t anyone wake me up…… Oh, my God!”

Roelin tried to get up from her place in a hurry, but she leaned down from the clear pain that she had felt from her bottom.

“Ah…”

Roelin’s face, which was frowning and making a painful sound, began to turn red.

Now, she had completely woken up from her sleep and eventually realized her condition.

To be more precise, what was the fact which caused this pain that she was feeling right now……

“Roelin! Why are you up already?”

At that moment, Kergel’s voice could be heard followed by the urgent sound of footsteps. Roelin raised herself once again while partly bending at the sound of the footsteps.

Maybe he had washed up, but Kergel came over to the bed only with a robe on. Unconsciously, she blushed at the sight of his solid chest that got exposed through the gap through the robe.

She thought that she had gone crazy.

As Roelin tried to withdraw her gaze while blaming herself for it, Kergel leaned slightly towards her and started asking anxiously.

“Are you not feeling well? Are you sick? Ah…… Is there a place that hurts……”

“Oh, where are you even looking at?”

Roelin hurriedly prevented Kergel from lifting the blanket as she held it tightly with both hands. Then, Kergel clarified by touching his chin with an awkward expression.

“No, you stayed up all night a little…… It was really too much. So, I thought you got sick because of me.”

“………stop talking about that.”

It was not a topic of conversation to be shared in broad daylight—at least for Roelin. But of course, it was a hot topic for her at night.

Roelin fanned herself with her hand a couple of times to cool her face. Then, Kergel quickly came up to her side and sat on the bed before he, too, began to fan Roelin.

“Are you hot? Should I tell them to bring a cold drink?”

“No, thanks. But, Kergel, can you just stay here at this hour?”

“Yes, it’s fine. I have a day off today.”

“A vacation?”

Roelin grabbed Kergel’s hand, which was still fanning her, as she tilted her head and asked.

Kergel drew back the hand that was held by Roelin before he conversely grabbed her hand while continuing to touch it with his own.

“Roelin, I want to be with you today.”

“……”

Roelin’s face turned red once again. Not to mention, she recalled the order that he had given to Lucy and the maids last night. The command that said no one was to approach the bedroom until being called.

Given the fact that he had not woken her up so far, it seemed that the maids were faithfully fulfilling the order.

“What would everyone think?”

Roelin couldn’t overcome her embarrassment and wrapped her hands around both cheeks. Then, the blanket that had wrapped around her body slipped down.

“Oh!”

When her naked body was revealed, she became surprised before pulling up the blanket once more. Kergel then looked at Roelin as he smiled and immediately opened his mouth.

“What are you covering? I’ve already looked everywhere anyway.”

“Don’t you tease me!”

Roelin looked at Kergel’s mischievous jokes coyly and slapped him on the chest. Even so, it only gave Kergel a rather ticklish feeling.

But Kergel pretended to be hurt while making some exaggerated gestures on purpose. The breeze further widened his robe that revealed something in front of her which could be thought as a red tattoo embedded in his left chest.

Somehow, she felt strange even though she had already seen it before. Roelin couldn’t take her eyes off the tattoo and looked absolutely still.

Then, after Kergel stopped joking around and noticed that she was already staring at his seal, he spoke with a rather startled and awkward expression.

“Why? What are you looking at?”

“That’s a tattoo, right?”

“Huh? Ah… yeah. Yeah, tattoo. Yeah, it’s a tattoo. But why?”

Kergel stuttered in bewilderment at Roelin’s question, but he managed to ask her back. However, Roelin did not notice his embarrassed assertion and just looked at his ‘tattoo’ with a curious eye before continuing.

“When I first saw you, I thought that it looked good. But it feels quite strange to see you like this today.”

“……it feels strange?”

“It’s hard to explain it in words. It’s just hard to take my eyes off of it.”

Even after saying so, Roelin still couldn’t easily take her eyes off his chest.

“……”

Kergel looked at her silently. This was rather unexpected. Was she responding to his power since she had been his companion?

‘……if she ever notices something about me at this rate.’

Suddenly, fear began to rise and he hugged her unconsciously. He didn’t want Roelin to be interested in seals anymore.

“Oh now, wait a minute. I’m not wearing any clothes.…”

And as Kergel wished, Roelin had no choice but to withdraw her attention from the seal. The blanket fluttered down and she became naked before she was suddenly being held in Kergel’s arms.

She instantly rattled in confusion. But Kergel had almost locked Roelin’s arms in his as he buried his lips on the back of her neck.

He was finally relieved. He eventually breathed out a sigh of relief and took another deep breath.
