"Alright everyone, as you might or might not know but soon your tribe would completely integrate into Hogwarts!"
"And here, there is no such thing as tribes since everyone is trying to achieve a common goal"
"So I hope as time goes on, you can put away your grievances from before and not do anything detrimental or try and cause chaos here"
"Because if you do, I promise you'll deeply regret it"
Saying this, Davis looked at the people before him with the seriousness in his eyes diminished.
Although he wanted to help Elric accomplish his goal, however, Davis felt he still needed to apply some pressure to let them know who's boss to avoid trouble later on
However, what he didn't know was that although his action just now did make a few amazons straighten their back, but the few in front had different thoughts in mind
Unlike their regular tribesmen, Morgana, Rowena, Eleanore, and Diana all focused on something else Davis said rather than his warning
'your tribe would completely integrate into Hogwarts'
This sentence kept reverberating in all four of them's heads as they found it difficult to accept especially Diana who began to feel her earlier determination was for naught
Unable to believe this was true, Daina couldn't help but stand up shouting loudly as she pointed towards Davis in denial.
"Impossible!"
"There's no way my sister would agree to such a thing as disbanding the tribe and integrating it into Hogwarts or whatever you call it!"
Perhaps deep down Diana knew the chances of it happening were high because although she shouted so, one could tell from her voice alone that she herself wasn't confident in what she said.
Even Morgan and the rest sitting beside her although angry at what Davis's said, each still had subtle feelings of doubt hidden behind their current angry faces
Soon, under Diana's lead, the whole audience began to look at Davis with suspicion, obviously asking him to produce some sort of evidence to confirm his words just now.
Seeing this, Davis scratched his head slightly
*Sigh…, it seems this task isn't going to be as easy as I thought.*
Thinking of this, Davis took a deep breath as he began to think of a way to prove what he said was true without further creating a commotion.
Thankfully, it seemed like luck was on his side because before thinking too much a sudden voice came from outside the classroom confirming the words just now.
"Diana sit down, he's not wrong I did agree"
"And as my last order as matriarch, I hope you all agree to it"
Hearing the voice say this, the crowd couldn't help but gasp in disbelief especially Diana who was standing almost fell as her pupils dilated in shock
Looking at the sudden change in the crowd, Davis wondered what happened.
However, soon his question was answered by itself.
Entering the classroom with George right behind her, Melinda had a somewhat wry smile plastered on her face
Feeling the shocked, angry, and anxious gazes all around. Although she had expected such a reaction but finally experiencing it firsthand, Melinda wondered whether her decision was correct.
"No Melinda, there's no turning back! Remember you've already made a plan*
*And even if the plan doesn't succeed, as long as you don't try anything there should be no problem with everyone living here safely, plus we have the opportunity to become stronger here!*
With this in mind, Melinda began to think up various reasons all trying to convince herself that what she did was right
Soon, maybe it was because she gave up or that she finally succeeded but after a few minutes the hesitation on her face completely disappeared, replaced with a calm determination.
Looking at the still-angry crowd, after taking a quick glance at Diana, Melinda suddenly turned toward George
"I've seen enough, let's go tell your young master that I've agreed"
Giving him a quick glance, Melinda didn't wait for George to reply and left the room as quickly as she came
Seeing this, George could only give Davis a helpless shrug and follow her out
"Haha Davis, let's talk later!"
"Oh and enjoy your class by the way!!"
With a light laugh, George gave Davis a wave as he exited the room.
"...."
Silence...
With the exit of two of them, an unprecedented silence filled the room, obviously what happened just now left a huge impact as most of the Amazons were still trying to comprehend it
*Cough!*
Coughing slightly, Davis tried to gain their attention so he could continue his class. Unfortunately, no one paid any attention to him at the moment.
Seeing this, Davis decided to ignore them and carry on hopefully they would snap out of it at some point during his class
"As you might have heard, your matriarch has already agreed. So with that let's move on to the main topic"
"One of the main reasons you are here is to join the headmaster in embarking on a journey that is wizardry"
Walking around the class, Davis continued to teach making sure his voice reached every corner of the classroom.
And sure enough just like Davis expected, ad he continued to speak gradually many of the tribesmen began to come out of their slump as they listened to him talk
Wizard!
A term neither of them had heard before, but now hearing Davis explain it was something they suddenly years for
"Firstly, what is a wizard?"
"A wizard is someone who studies the natural phenomena in their surroundings and learns to manipulate it for their own use"
"For example, see this fireball"
Saying this, Davis summoned a fireball through a parchment he already drew a flame rune on
*Boom!*
Seeing the flame inexplicably appear the crowd was shocked, so much so that even Diana who was the most depressed couldn't help but start paying attention to him
Seeing this, Davis knew his plan had worked. Taking advantage of this he decided to hit the nail on the head and completely enthral them in his teaching.
