Chapter 136 Digging Elric's Corpse

[A few minutes earlier]

*Huff huff*

"What do you mean by the young master is still alive? And where did you come from? Oh and what is going on with Alvin!?"

Panting due to his earlier exertion, George bombarded Lilith who just appeared before him with questions.

Just now when he and Davis were about to retreat, she suddenly appeared along with Nico and Aoma claiming that Elric was alive and that the demons were planning to sacrifice the whole school.

Listening to this, both Davis and George could help but pause as they were overwhelmed by the sudden news.

Thankfully, Lilith seemed to have expected their doubt and continued speaking

"Teacher George, there's no time to waste, i'm not sure how long teacher Alvi can hold them on"

"And according to what he heard from the abyss demons, once the summoning is successful then only two things could happen"

"One, either their so-called 'lord' descends and wipes us all out!"

"Or two, he drags this whole plane into the part of the abyss he governs and we become his slave while also instantly being assimilated by the abyss aura becoming the lowest cannon fodder abyss demon!"

Saying this Lilith emphasised the urgency in her tone as she tried to let them realise the seriousness of the matter.

Thankfully it worked. Hearing that they might become cannon fodder demons, both George and Davis unexpectedly found themselves shivering.

Just remembering the thousands of demons both of them just wiped out, could it be that all of them used to be normal inhabitants of their original small plane?

Thinking of this, both their faces turned serious

"Fine we believe you, however you still haven't answered what happened to Alvin"

Saying this George looked at the over five metre Alvin currently in the process of full scale demonetisation.

"Um.. about that, we're not too sure. However he did say teacher Elric would let us know once we release him"

Scratching her hair slightly embarrassed Iilith mumbled still not forgetting to remind them about to quickly release Elric

"Yes Teacher Davis, according to teacher Alvin we need to release the headmaster and evacuate the school as soon as possible"

"With no sacrifices present, then the summoning can't happen!"

Taking the opportunity to chime in Nico and Aoma the side both began pressing Davis and George to act quickly

Seeing this, George turned toward davis beside him

"Davis, what do you think? Should we give up our earlier plan and leave it up to Alvin?"

Feeling that this matter wasn't easy, George decided to ge Davis opinion

Unfortunately Davis too wasn't so sure.

"Why you asked me, if you don't know i wont know too. After all, I'm just as shocked as you are. "

Rolling his eyes Davis couldn't help give George a speechless glance.

Seeing this George had a wry smile on his face. Obviously Davis wasn't going to be of any help.

Realising this, George kept silent as he took a minute to make up his mind.

Soon a few minutes passed, and with every second that went by, the worry on Lilith, Nico and Aoma faces visibly increased.

Thankfully, George soon came up with a decision.

"Fine then let's do it like this, Davis, you Nico and Aoma go evacuate as many students as you can from the school."

"Lilith, you follow me, let's go and release the young master. Hopefully Alvin would be able to hold them long enough."

Taking a deep breath George's eyes deepened and his expression quickly turned serious.

Thinking of the consequences of the sacrifice, he knew that no accidents could happen.

And Davis hearing George's suggestion had no reason to refuse as he too felt like this plan was the only way.

Seeing this, Lilith and the rest who had already started to worry suddenly relaxed.

"Alright let's get moving! Davis, I'll leave the students to you!"

"Lilith let's get going."

Taking a stride forward, George gave Davis one last tap on the shoulder as both of them went their separate ways.

*Teacher Alvin, please don't die!*

Clenching her fist, Lilith prayed silently following George as both of them went to dig up Elrics grave.

Soon time passed, and thanks to Alvin distraction both sides tasks were unprecedentedly smooth.

Davis with the help of Nico and Aoma had already rescued hundreds of students ready to rescue a few more and then begin to evacuate from the school.

While George and Lilith had already arrived at an underground room in the centre of the school where Elric was buried.

"We're here!"

Pushing open the door, with a creaking sound George led Lilith into the room.

*cough cough*

"Teacher George, since when did we have such a room?"

Coughing due to the dust, Lilith had a confused expression on her face. Obviously she had never seen such a room in her whole year here at Hogwarts.

Unfortunately, after hearing Liliths question George didn't immediately answer, rather his face turned gloomy as he slowly spoke.

"This room?"

"It was created when the young master died!"

*boom!*

Hearing George say this, Lilith felt her mind explode.

Although Judging from the fact that she hadn't seen the headmaster in a long time, and the fact that Alvin said they needed to 'release him' Lilith had already deduced that Elric was in some kind of predicament.

However, hearing Elric was dead Lilith suddenly felt like her world collapsed.

*What? He's dead?*

*If so then why are we wasting time here when other students along with teacher Alvin are currently dying on the battlefield*

Thinking of this Lilith started to feel annoyed wondering what Alvin was thinking.

However, before she could think more about it George's voice suddenly came into her ears.

"Hey Lilith what are you waiting for, let's continue going we don't have much time"

Hearing this Lilith quickly snapped out of it.

Although she didn't know what Alvin meant by rescuing a dead person, Lilith could only follow behind George hoping there was some deep meaning behind it.

And with that, two people, one big and one small, walked deeper into the room ready to dig up their headmaster's corpse.
